I've got a top spec Cupra Ateca and it's a great car. I had ordered a new Formentor but being an old codger, I find it easier to get in and out of the Ateca and it's still got knobs for the climate control instead of all that screen searching and touch buttons that don't light up in the dark. I'd like to see an Ateca with even more power. Great vid Max.
With every new car the DSG transmission gets slower and slower.. What's the point? They're so sluggish and slow to shift. Even 10-15 years ago they were quicker and sharper.
Not only slower but have weaker i remember dq381 in the tcr had many clicking issues in the gearbox when they first came out and now this shit i mean even the 5cylinder dnwa engine in the new rs3 8y and vz5 ...ext has problems they made a solenoid to make oil pressure lower for emissions bullshit and they changed the camshafts imagine doing this to the daza engine wich earned them the name and the sales they made 😢
I got biased by all those autobahn videos and now a really fast car which Cupra 310hp certainly is, gives me "oh its not that quick" reaction... I've seen too many 600/700/1000hp + cars on yt 😢
@Stilo95 He was talking about the engine, and I told him that you have a better 2.0L engine. It doesn't mean anything if the Cupra is not a hatch or whatever. If the weight is the same on both cars, I mean the engine can perform the same even if it's built in this Cupra.
Color: Lego fans would say „dark blueish grey“ Exhaust: Akrapovic seems hyped. Why? The name sounds russian or polish. I always hear „A crap“ when someone says the name. 😂
@@Benito-lr8mz I guess there are 4 Zyl engines which can sound good but the 2.0tsi wasn’t the best sounding engine from the start. Opf und other regelations don’t help either…

Maybe its because when it was faster it was causing so much problem
Formentor shifts pretty ok, but our seat ibiza with 116 hp shifts slow af, it sounds like the car is still in the sleep-modus, and thats sad...
The small engine and DSG is slow :1.5 tsi... The 2.0 tdi (New) is relly fast.

The manual is a 150bhp 1.5 much worse
2.0 turbo is bit small engine for this car.255km/h with this engine is crazy
Have you seen the Mercedes A45S with a 2.0L engine? It has 421hp, 500Nm of torque, and a top speed of 270km/h.

Not a fan of mini but the new mini still look the best by far of all the hatchbacks what mini done is amazing

Btw. the cupra mode sound is fake. If you set to individual and set the sound to pure you get the true engine noises with the cupra tuning.

I’ve driven Formentor VZ and 8R with Akrapovic. The exhaust is not worth the price.
No exhaust Systems are worth the Price These Days. You basically need at least an 200 cell Downpipe mod or an Full GPF delete
