- I have been playing dinkum on and off for nearly a year now and it's time to show you my island! I started off wanting an all natural cottagecore style island but i soon changed my mind and have begun work on decorating a more structured area so you can see how i've progressed!
Dinkum is currently in early release and only available on PC at present but hopefully will be coming to more consoles soon!

Dinkum would be a huge game comunity i believe because you can decor your island anything you want! I hope oneday a modder would make something like shadders or resource pack like minecraft and developers would made more items for decor and such things! 😮💗

Developer....singular...not plural.
It is made by one man. This is why the game is so incredible. One guy, beating Nintendo at it's own game (my opinion, anyway).
He is adding things to the game bit by bit. The game has a lot more content now than when it was originally released and he is still working on more.
I just recently got into the game thanks to my gf, this game is incredible

I was thinking about going back to the game so I was searching for inspo and omg this is the perfect one, if only I can learn how to play it on steam deck

Wow! I recently bought Dinkum because I bought the SteamDeck with the summer sale, and I’m in love! I didn’t realize you could decorate so extensively, and the map is so huge, it’s a bit overwhelming for me right now. I love watching your content!!❤☺️

I really like your builds. They are delightful.
I usually build tight knit little towns. My latest game is called "Tasmania" (the island to the south of Australia). I actually live in Sydney, but would like to retire in Tassie.
It is always nice to see other peoples builds, even if they dwarf my mundane efforts. I don't know anyone that plays the game, so doing large builds like yours is not really on my agenda.
Anyway...I love watching your videos and listening to your charming voice.

Hey that looks so great! We have a question. Where did you get a raft and these dock path from?
I have 190 hours and my island looks pathetic... But I never took too much time decorating yet... Mostly love the Deep Mines and I can't stop asking the villagers if they need anything so most of the time I'm meeting their wants because I feel bad if I don't ask them if they need something.... when I people please even NPCs :sob:

Also at 9:10 when you said you felt like something was missing I think it’s because your eye is naturally drawn along the walk way which is empty so maybe putting something at he top of the stairs would help

This is awesome. I have considered starting Dinkum a few times but the combat puts me off as I prefer to not have combat in my cosy games. Is it difficult and is there a lot of it?
It’s really avoidable. I steer clear of anything that will cause me problems. The only issue is in the mines as that’s slightly harder but there are mods that make it peaceful.
