YES!! After buying tons and getting my kelly and birkin they now offer me non qouta bag even if I don't ask. I went last time for shoes and accessories only I never even asked about bags, they offered me 2 different mini Lindies and picotins. I was even able to choose the colour of picotin and the hardware and they had it in the back.
How interesting that the staff also have to play the game in order to potentially offer it to their customers! Kinda makes me feel a little better because it means I shouldn’t take it personal. I’ve only been offered one bag and it was a Kelly cut which is something I wasn’t interested in but I do recall the staff saying someone else had turned it down earlier and that’s the only reason they would give me a chance to buy.
You’re absolutely right.when I went to my SA to visit the boutique, she had tons of non quota bags to offer me, texted photos of bags available beforehand. I only buy what I like and refused a couple of them and it’s fine with her. I noticed the other SA already asking my SA if I am purchasing the bag she showed me. When I said no, he was somewhat excited about it. My SA ended up showing me a couple of slgs and I bought one. Texted me the day after and asked me if I want this color of a Lindy bag. When I said yes, she said she’ll save it for me if I pick it up before 5pm, closing time. I don’t buy things from Hermes to get a quota bag. My SA will just text me photos of available birkin and Kelly bags but I don’t like the colors she offered so I refused them.
Thank you layzeh3266 for confirming, yes Indeed. They do offer them and save them for you. That is also my experience. It looks like you have been shopping from Hermes for quite a bit now. I am still waiting to be offered a quota bag 😊

It’s a company policy and my SA shows me how they fight for the bags among themselves (she shows me a msg of how she fights for the bag which’s in the color I want - it is a non quota bag fyi) so apparently it is based on spending and the relationship.
Yes indeed you are correct. They fight for the bags, same with what my SA told me as well. So if you have a good relationship with your SA they will fight for you and help you get your bag of your dreams. Same with non quota bags. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Hi @lclux2663, yes that is correct. It is raffled to them. Example they get 3 picotins on stock, they raffle it and if your SA is lucky enough to snag one of the picotins, then she/he can offer to any of his/her existing clients. So even non quota bags, they have to fight for it essentially. I hope this helps.

I think they mean ‘I don’t have anything to offer to you today’. I guess if they just say “there is nothing” then it’s probably a lie but really, in any store, there can be items put aside for other customers and you aren’t talking about those items when you ask if there is anything available. Personally, I like so many items in the Hermes stores that I could not walk in month after month asking for a handbag , but not getting anything else. I love horse riding and the look that goes with it. If I could afford any of the brand, I would buy items while I wait. This isn’t a working class brand. I don’t have a problem with that. I’m just oddly drawn to watching the youtube videos lol

I Think its not that complicated, actually, as everyone is thinking. They Mighty have to not tell the truth abort their Stock but that because the Quota bags are ment for loyal costumers. Costumers that love the brand and not just the bags. Otherwise They Will loose their exclusivity. People get offented and angry With hermes when They dont get what They want. But thats just the point. And if you dont figure out the system and expect to just go into the store to get a bag, Then yes, They Will not give it to you. Why is people angry with this?? I really dont understand why people are SO mad at hermes for not giving them bags! Then They dont understand the point of the Hermes brand!
There are more important things in life than a Birkin and Kelly bag. Your health and family priceless. This so called game is aimed at people who are poor in mind. If you look at the elite members of society they invest in experience, education, things that improve them as a person

Hermes is giving too much power to their SAs. It needs to be regulated with sensible guidelines.
I agree. Some SA’s are really great to work with but some do take advantage which is really hard.
