Dagshai Central Jail and Museum: All Dark Secrets Revealed by Museum Creator Anand Sethi

Take a tour of the historic Dagshai Jail with Anand Sethi, the creator of the Dagshai Central Jail and Museum, and watch as he throws light on all its hidden dark secrets. Some of the prominent people like Irish revolutionary leader James Daly, Komagata Maru leaders, and Boer war POWs were imprisoned here during the British days. Daly, who was a Private in the 1st battalion of the Connaught Rangers was executed here. Nathuram Godse was the last prisoner of this jail. Even Mahatma Gandhi had spent a night in this jail to show his solidarity with the Irish revolution. Few know that prisoners here were given the notorious 'bread and water' punishment.
