Only thing missed was that the original lyrics were in fact "Coven Two", but couldn't have really known that one. This is really impressive all the same.
I mean, the clues were all there, and very well acted when you watch closely with hindsight. Agatha was being truthful a lot of the times she seemed to be lying, and also vice versa, but Kathryn Hahn's excellent facial expressions give the game away if you know what you're looking for.
@@socalencounter But like Wanda’s hex on Agatha, the Road hex would end if Billy actually died. They’d be stuck in the tunnels and have to wander their way out (like through the old subway station ) but the visual hex of the Witches’ Road should vanish.🤔
It is worth noting that Billy initiated each and every trial. He picked up the invitation in Jen's trial, and the clock started ticking. He played the record and started Alice's trial. He pulled out the Ouija board for Agatha's trial. He picked up the Tarot deck in Lilia's trial and the sand glass turned. He is clearly the one controlling events, whether he realizes it or not.
He didn’t create it, he was probably just the one to first summon it in the coven which is why it’s in his image (“the witch changes for the coven”) and that’s why he keeps knowing how to start the trials. The road is appealing to him to make everything happen.
@@MarrvelFan123 I agree. He was in fact created by Wanda's chaos magic. The Witches' Road is also built in Chaos along with pure witchcraft. I do agree that he could have summoned a portal without him knowing. But it's hard to believe that he created an entire mystical dimension. In my own understanding of logic (don't know about the MCU's logic on this) If the underground transit Sharon is talking about is Billy's pure, entire hex, then The Salem Seven (A hive-minded coven of WITCHES) shouldn't be able to find the rest of them because Billy still had the sigil on. They wouldn't even be able sense his existence nor his magic / hex considering they're also witchfolk. If they did, then Multiverse of Madness wouldn't happen and The Scarlet Witch would have immediately found him first. That only means the Salem Seven won't be able to find Agatha because she's inside Billy's hex. The Witches' Road IS real. *EDIT: Unless they just followed Rio through another portal they made when they summoned another Green Witch. Lady Death is a cosmic entity that'll definitely override Billy's hex and the Salem Seven could just be sensing Rio - using her to find Agatha.
This makes so much sense, the only part that makes me question the theory is when Agatha told Lilia that she can only steal power when hit by magic. If Agatha really did do this as a scam why risk someone knowing her con and calling her out on it, like what happened right before they entered the road?
idk too honestly, bc in wandavision she blasted wanda's shield and siphoned her magic through that without wanda hitting her in that part, maybe now she can only start the siphon when being hit with magic because hers is now gone
@@char_lottesIt seems like her absorbing ability is permanent while her blasting energy power is completely gone. IDK if Agatha can still chants a spell without her power (most of the scenes in the show, show that she can chant spells with other witches. What if she did it individually?). There are quite a few holes in the storyline.
@@obviouslyme1293 Teen brings this up when they are making brooms. They all can still do physical acts of magic. Like casting spells with words or actions, Agatha and Jennifer just can't blast light out of themselves. Spells that take time work, BIG MAGIC does not.
I would say because of the time limit she has and to get the names of the others fast. Plus as she is clairvoyant, she would know anyway. Basically she says, let me do my thing, do nothing and you will not be harmed by me. Both are con artists, so both used trust of others for their own benefit before anyway.
I definitely support this theory. When Agatha walked with the other witches from different eras, the road didn't even looked like Billy's Witches' Road, no trials, etc. And it would also make sense that they reveal Teen and Rio being death earlier in the episodes before the even bigger reveal that Billy made the road unconsciously himself.
Wild how spot-on this is. The show did a great job leaving breadcrumbs. In retrospect Agatha also wouldn't want to invite Rio since Rio would have known it was a con from the beginning
This really is exquisite. Before watching this, I just read it as Agatha recognizing Billly's road as being similar to Wanda's reality warped hex. But this theory plays out so much better! Agatha being the one who created the original Road rumor adds so much more depth and nuance to not only the narrative, but also all of Kathryn Hahn's acting choices. Just... a brilliant theory / observation! Thanks for sharing it!
It's such a sweet idea that since Agatha knew Billy subconsciously made the Road 'All Along', she had to carefully and surgically suggest ideas to at least be able to harness Billy's control of the domain. Through Billy's subconscious, Agatha controlled the Road all along.
Oh duuddde you are on to something!! 5/5! I did watch a previous analysis that someone did that Billy created his version of the Witches Road. I was already suspecting because how could the coven summon the door when they didn't have all the 'right' party members, because Sharon isn't even a witch. Also how could Jen and Lilia and Agatha fall in the mud tar and still live if it was supposed to be 'deadly'. Also Billy just conveniently wishes Jen and Lilia back in the trial room and they just show up. Which means something is at work here. Also Billy sees all the stuff in Williams room and a lot of the environments and motifs in the trials and road are influenced by this. You really may be onto something that Agatha is the scammer 'Wizard' like in the 'Wizard of Oz' pulling the strings behind the curtain. Thus this ruse originated from her 'All Along'. Agatha is very power motivated and a magic junkie, her goal is to just absorb other's powers and kill them to benefit herself. So she makes up this idea of the Witches Road quest, the ballad, then summon people to herself. The people she has picked are all in vulnerable positions and at their lowest eg. lost their powers, washed up, are all going through personal traumas and are hopeful of restoring their sense of worth through the Road. She then corners them, taunts them to attack her and then absorb their life force. You have very cleverly watched back the pilot episode and subsequent episodes and noticed subtle nuances in Kathryn's performance to sense that something is amiss, Agatha gives the impression she knows what she's doing but she seems unsure and lies through everything and is improvising along the way. Her actions are calculated but because her desire to get her powers back is so strong, she regretfully has to kill innocents i.e Sharon. Agatha is always several steps ahead of everyone, so actually she knew that Teen was Billy very early on, because she herself knows the Road is a con, she was surprised to see it actually materialized, Billy subconsciously made this environment and she's shocked and really fricken impressed. I think Rio/ Death is very fascinated with Agatha because she's just in awe of the extent of her sociopathy. Agatha just constantly makes a trail of death and destruction everywhere she goes, and Death naturally just follows Agatha around because she gets work to do. Death is also a really quirky, chaotic neutral personality and she's smitten by Agatha. Its sort of like 'wow, you're really crazy. I like it!' Likewise, Agatha finds herself attracted to Death in a kind of strange morbid fascination, because Agatha is attracted to power and Death is one of the most powerful beings. But of course, the relationship goes south because Agatha's quest for power unfortunately led to her son dying, most likely chasing the Darkhold. And Death, even though she hated to do it, still had to do her job and it broke her heart to ferry Nicholas soul to the other side. Agatha has still not forgiven Death for this and upset that probably because they are lovers, that Death would make an exception, but Death did not. So Agatha is very conflicted that she has a love hate relationship with Death, Death still loves Agatha and is more of the pursuing one and is still hopeful that Agatha will return her love and forgive her. They also have probably forged some sort of pact that's why Agatha says 'you can't kill me, its not allowed'. I'm really so pumped to see the final 2 episodes! It's going to be a blast!
I agree with almost everything. I believe Death cannot kill cause her job is to merely recollect the souls of the dead not to hurt people or kill them, I believe that’s why Agatha says “you cannot kill me, it’s forbidden”
But I think it is a actual witches road and Agatha been on it. I just think this one is manipulated by Billy. If u watch the end credit scenes. It’s pointed out in the book that, you have to take off your shoes before getting on the road. Agatha was the only one that knew this. I think Billy conjured the road. If u watch when they first entered Agatha and Billy is talking. Billy loves the road and its creativeness. Agatha than states that it does fit him (something like that). I believe Billy conjured the road. And Agatha knows this. She knows something is wrong with the road. When she first entered she touched the, sand that was on the first step. How the way she touched it, it was new to her. Like that never been there before.
@@Ariii443 I believe the witches road actually exists in the marvel universe, but I agree with this theory. Agatha as an old and experienced witch knows this legend and she uses it to gain power. She prolly went to the road and stuff, but I agree she’s been using her name to gather witches make em believe she’s gonna take ‘em to the road and then kill them.
Tbh it sounds petty and lame that of Death only cling to Agatha whereas there are more deaths in the vast universe rather than collecting individuals Agatha kill each time 🙃
Had to come back to this after watching the finale. This didn't ruin how hard the twist went off watching it, but good on ya for hitting it right on the head omg
Sweetie, you literally don’t seem to know what literally means. He figuratively ate with this, I assume you mean. If he had literally eaten with this, he would be consuming food as he recorded this video.
This theory is so good, and it actually makes sense; every detail, every piece of evidence is there. The only thing I’m not too keen on is that if he completely created and imagined it, it would end up being too similar to the situation in Wandavision where everything is fake and invented by a Maximoff. It would feel like a repeat of the Hex. What if the Road does exist but is opened in a different way? For example, what if it has always existed but simply adapts to the most powerful person present (in this case, Billy)? It also seems that everything he says really happens. The talks about the Road, and it’s exactly as he envisioned it. The Road adapts to the most powerful person. He’s the one who starts each trial by picking up or reading an object. You can even see various items in his bedroom that also appear in the trials or are at least in a similar style. I’d find it so exciting if it turned out that the Road has indeed always existed but that no one has ever succeeded in opening it before. Maybe Agatha was never there, or maybe she was with Rio’s help but left somehow. Remember the subway tunnel deep underground? What if that’s also some kind of escape route?
It would solidify Billy as a Wanda replacement like the other handing-off-the-torch shows. In Wandavision, Wanda made Billy real, a persevering magic. In Agatha All Along, Billy makes the Witches Road real, or the Road is the hex and Billy makes Tommy real.
There was a snippet in one of the early trailers that shows Billy creating a pentagram on that exact floor where the entrance appeared. So I'm guessing when he did a preliminary spell down in the basement sometime after meeting Agatha and before entering The Road
I mean why would you not be too keen on it? That’s the entire point; like mother like son; “the dramatic Maximoff”.Their chaos magic is so dangerous and strong they don’t even know when they’re subconsciously doing it. Like that’s the interesting part lol.
@@andydietrich3689 It would be a copy of Wandavision. The audience didn't know about Wanda creating the hex, and what it did to the people and the environment. It would be cool if he could influence the road, absolutely, yes. But him creating the road using a hex is just way too similar. It's not good writing if they're using the hex again.
I've thought that Agatha has never been on the road previously before., but this adjustment to the theory and full description pulls everything together so perfectly. Excellent work.
One thing that bugs me is, in the 1st trial if billy wasn't there then they all would have died, so that's a bit convenient. As the trail needed his blood to reach completion, and then in Agatha's trail the triangle decorations was inside the room with the group so the 'road' pulled something in from the real world that belonged to Billy which is interesting. 🧐
@@ZOLTAR436 Billy has been a major influence/occurrence in all of the trials so far. Water Trial- he found the riddle, forced agatha to participate, used his blood, and solved it with the sous vide. Fire Trial- started the record, the shard of glass injury that got everyone to leave and forced Jenn to use her healing powers. Spirit Trial - started the Ouija game, ended the Ouija game. Air Trial - started the Tarot reading, willed Lilia back in (and possibly created the bookshelf door for her), and notice how the trial room reacted when he asked his "am I William or am I Billy?" - question. It stops. Almost like a computer stopping to load or process information.
@@rjenyawd I've noticed all of that, but when the ceiling stopped cause he asked that question, what if it only stopped because it got caught on that flag with a spear attached to it. 🧐
I like this theory but one whole I see with it, is Lilia, she hates witch stereotypies, and she older than Agatha so I think Lilia would have said something about how she never heard about the Road till years of living, making her believe that Road isn't real at all, but instead she supports the idea of "A" Road being real thing and that it dangerous. Now the part were Agatha uses the name of The Road to lure witches and take their power could totally be possible and Billy made other Road
I think because of her powers/visions even if she didn’t think it was true she still went because she saw something happening that was important also the idea of fate that she had to go there so that Rio could take her
Not a bad theory. I think it's equally plausible that Agatha's disorientation is because, while the Road is real, Billy has somehow hijacked it and made it in his image (not unlike how Wanda used the real Westview to make her own reality). And I feel that would be a lot more satisfying. Saying that the Witches' Road was a con all along would be a lot like those "it was just a dream" fake-outs that piss off audiences. I hope Jac Schaeffer wouldn't make that move. Also, if the Road is a con dreamed up by Agatha as you say, then her only motivation is in acquiring power. Yes, she is a villain. But she is literally doing a Hero's Journey, so I have to believe that however misguided her actions are, she is on the Road for a purpose, which is to resurrect Nicholas Scratch. I don't think she'll succeed. I think she'll instead learn some other lesson about coven and family, because it really feels like that's the theme this show is building toward.
I think the most likely thing to happen is that tried to summon it by himself and when he actually did he realized that he should probably have a coven. That’s where we get that Billy in the door shot from and that’s why it’s in Billy’s image. He summoned it, so he starts the trials and he influences how it looks. Agatha is weirded out because it’s a different road.
Yup. I was definitely wrong. Not just on this. My scorecard for theories took a beating on the finale. I get very little right in the end. Good on Exquisite Echidna for nailing this theory.
Actually, Agatha doesn't lie and change the lyrics about "Coven two". If you recall, Nicky and her were the "Coven two". It was changed over time to coven true, but it's not a lie - Coven two was the original line because she and Nicky were the two travelling together.
This actually made so much sense! I feel like the theme of every trial is probably a manifestation of William Kaplan's subconsciousness, we saw some posters and figures in his room that ties to what we've seen so far in the Witches Road. The witches road is a Hex created by Billy Maximoff, the design is based on William Kaplan's mind.
I love this theory and I commend the thought that went into it. But I think it has one major problem, and unfortunately I believe it's enough to kill it. Basically, the trailers for the last two episodes have scenes of Agatha screaming that she wants her prize. If you have an explanation that can explain how that scene could still work, I'd really love to hear it, because as I said, it's a pretty cool theory.
Maybe she's screaming it to Billy? She's probably figured out he's a reality warper, like wanda, by this point. He could literally will her power back into existence, considering he's the one who manifested this version of the road into reality to begin with. After all, Lilia did pull Billy's card, The Tower Reversed, in the "Windfall" (prize) position of the tarot spread.
That's pretty easy to fit actually. Picture this... The "Road scam" is part of a deal between Agatha and Death (one gets power, the other gets bodies), and we are shown in a flashback they talking about it and Agatha calling the powers she keeps getting as "her prize". Done. Suddenly makes perfect sense for her to yell this at Rio.
@@rjenyawd you may be right, that's something to consider. I got the impression she was yelling it at Rio because it seems to be during or just after she's attacked with the vines cutting her, but who knows, Billy may be there too. Thanks!
And if Lilia can only see within her own lifetime (which I also doubt) she would have no way of knowing to tell Agatha to hit the deck when Rio calls her a coward. 🤔
Because at that point, Lilia believing the road to be real as she just experienced multiple trials, “something bad” happened every time they completed a trial in order to rush them to the next one. IE the water flooding through the windows during the first trial. She knew by locking herself in there, something deadly was bound to happen, as it did with every other trial as the construct ended. She has divination but she’s not omnipotent, there would still be A LOT she doesn’t know.
@@germainesfShe can definitely see other people’s lives, as she divined that William was going to die the night of his party, and Billy would inhabit his body, and he would “need more time to figure it out” with the sigil.
I've seen multiple people suggesting that lilia can only see her life but, like, she had a whole divination business so much in as she got hired for the barmitzvah in the first place. Sure she might have some grifts in her past but she still studied in the arts of divination like the tarot. So. I'd assume she has some sense/vision of things outside of her personal sight or interaction.
If we think about it, the roads gate is in a geometrical shape just like Wanda's hex, and you cannot escape the road, just like you cant escape the hex.
Her power is defensive at it's core. If no one ever attacked her she would only have the Craft to get by on. She is an harbinger of death but not as big a killer as people believe.
Oh my gosh! I always thought it was a lie that Agatha had walked the road before. I have a theory that Billy created the current road. I also thought Agatha invited the other witches 'to open the road,' but really, it was to steal their power. If she's been doing that from the beginning, wow, that would fit perfectly! But it depends on how old the myth is-if she’s only from Salem, it’s not that ancient. Still, I think she definitely used the myth to steal other witches’ powers, and I 100% agree with you there. Plus, she clearly realized Billy was manipulating the road, and in turn, she was slowly manipulating him- can’t wait to see what’s really going on finally with this week!
this all fits so perfectly! I was already sold on the concept of the road being from Billy’s mind because of so many hints to that, we know he can create things and him thinking the road is an answer makes sense why his power would wind up creating it…. tying in the Agatha lore fills in all the rest. also (assuming this is all correct) this is all going to be so utterly shocking to those watching who do not already have knowledge of Wiccan’s powers as no-where in this have they given away that ability of his! This is already a great twist in how they’ve done this that is wasn’t obvious even for those who know, and extra surprise to those who don’t! i am so excited for the last 2 episodes (although I really wish it wasn’t ending! I’ve enjoyed watching this and all the theorizing so much!)
@@LemmyForDLC i mean it could be a plot hole but if you watch the scene you can see lilia's hand glowing which means despite being told she was one step from blasting agatha which could mean that simply being told isn't enough to hold your horses against agatha
I had this theory a week ago after binge watching it all. The plot twist is: IT WAS AGATHA ALL ALONG! Bc she created the whole thing to kill off witches and take their power. It’s the only reason she would take Billy down bc she realized he was very powerful to undo Wanda’s curse and wants his power.
In the comic the road is created by powerful being called Demiurge (sentient life god-like figure) which is interesting because also in the comic Billy has become one. Maybe the show is hinting this connection throughout the fact, that Billy has set each tril in motion. Plus Billy was supposed to be the green witch, but Lilia could not write his name due to the sigil. Bud this theory is very detailed and I love, and I hope it will play at least some role in the finale.
I shouldn’t have watched this video, cause of HOW THIS EXPLANATION IS THE ACTUAL PLOT TWIST 😭😭…. anyways whoever created this video needs a promotion 🎉😊
She invited Jen because she was bound by someone without magic. She considers this impossible so she thinks Jen is bound by her own emotions. This means Jen isn't really bound and just needs either an emotional journey or something really crazy to remember her power.
@@hecatesowl8688when Lilia reads the tarot as well they emphasize that the priestess is either unable or unwilling to use it, so this could be true as well from hints in the show writing
Oh right, especially the Tarot card detail seems to check out. Plus I mean... she kind of did successfully create potions in the first trial and when Billy was injured. But also still a bad move to tell Lilia about that secret about her power then haha. Otherwise they probably would've blasted her.
you see i think Agatha actually DID went on the road before so she could get a power as level as rio, if you remember rio wasn't willing to bring Nicole's back that is why Agatha still hates her but in the first time the other witches found out that Nicole's died by Agatha or something like that and they tried to kill her ending up dead themselves, after getting the darkhold her coven find out and then all hell brok loose. but this road as real as it may be is very different hence some other forces are in play and Agatha is the only one who suspects that
I just watched this video after seeing the final two episodes of *Agatha All Along.* I paused and scrolled down several times to look at _when_ this video was posted, and I'm amazed at how perfect your guess was!!! I was convinced that Ralph Bohner might turn out to be Mephisto or something crazy. 😂🤣😂😅 As they say on The Great British Bake Off, *"Well done, You!!!"* 🤗🥰
Dude was so spot on that I thought they were reading directly from the comics 💀(they were not, this plot twist is a fresh take on every character. like holy moly this show and these theories blew my socks off). I'm almost disappointed I didn't experience the twist(s) unprepared, but seeing these theories while the show was airing was its own special experience, and I was picking up on some of the breadcrumbs that were in these videos.
The only thing you got wrong with this prediction is that nicholas died before she started doing the scams, but othet than that. PRETTY SPOT ON!!! Also, I still wonder why Agatha told Lilia her “secret”. It was the key to her scam trials.
@@danefili7220 Nicholas WAS helping with the scams. They (maybe a bit suspiciously) 100% correctly called out everything that happened in the finale episodes
Billy definitely created the road tho because he can’t read Agatha’s mind so her trail has tons of things from his own room. Whereas everyone else’s in their old homes.
I cannot believe you actually got this so right! I'm almost mad that I wasn't surprised with the episode because I saw this video but I'm more impressed with you!
After watching the last 2 episodes I can’t believe how spot on you are!!I can’t wait to hear your theories on how they’re going to develop Agatha’s story after Agatha all along
A couple of flaws to the theory, though it is an interesting one. Teen didn't know about the kind of poison to create it, he also didn't know about Alice's curse, or Nicholas Scratch. As powerful as he is, he still needs the knowledge of these things ing order to create their individual solutions. Even Wanda had to learn about runes from Agatha before she could enact them. Still I suppose we could say he's reading their minds, except he can't control it to that level yet.
Billy is a novice witch, it's why he has a booklet with his research. He 100% found different illnesses and curses, it's his subconscious controling the hex with a combination of Agatha's influence that is generating the trials and solutions. If you look at Billy's room, everything in there appears in the witches road, it explains an in universe reason as to why it's so campy with many pop culture references. Billy can also hear others emotions and thoughts which could explain how some of the trials manifest to each individual. Every one of the witches believe they've lost their power due to somewhat mystical or superstitious circumstances. Alice has been told her whole life her family has a curse, so anytime something goes wrong, she questions if it's true. The trial manifests her feelings into a reality with a solution of a demon on her shoulders she must vanquish, when in reality the mark could have just been a birth mark.
He’s a telepath. If he’s subconsciously creating an entire hex world, he’s definitely using each of their own thoughts and remnants of power to create an appropriate trial. He’s also not inherently evil, so if there was an opportunity to end her family curse than just more opportunity to make it all look authentic; there’s no way it’s a birthmark and it just happened to match the claw span of a cursed banshee lol.
@@ljj734 I'm going to strongly disagree here that "Wanda didn't know she created a hex or her Vision wasn't real" because it seems very clear throughout that Wanda was aware she controlled the Hex but denied it because she also knew what she was doing was definitely wrong but wanted to pretend it wasn't. This is very clear when we get things like her rewinding things when the sword Agent pops out of the sewers dressed like a bee keeper, when she tosses Monica out, and most explicitly when she actively leaves to threaten the SWORD team and then reenters and goes right back to looking for her kid's dog. She knows she's living in a world she has created and doesn't want to give it up. The thing she doesn't know is how she created it because she didn't know she was a straight up witch or have proper training with her skills. That's why it drives me up the wall when people use that "They don't know what Wanda gave up" thing because Wanda didn't give up anything that she still had prior to taking over Westview. She had already lost Vision. So the things she "Gave up" in this are the kids she created after having already turned everyone into characters in her show. Monica acts like the town should feel bad for Wanda having to return to living in reality since she did so to release them despite the fact that she put them under the spell in the first place and it was torturing them. "They don't understand what you gave up" Monica says after many of them are finally getting to see their own flesh and blood not hex created children children and actually talk to their spouses for the first time since she showed up. I don't know Monica, did she perhaps "Give up" her fake versions of relationships she was actually keeping other people from? And don't get me wrong I know she was grieving so she theoretically gave up her happiness to go back to grief but no therapist is going to encourage you live in delusions to get past your trauma.
@@LorieLynn when Wanda initially created the hex it was from an emotional breakdown. So she actually didn't know that it was having that ramification. Now once she started noticing little things were off it became more aware to her. But definitely by the time sword got involved she knew what was going on. Even when she created vision she didn't know how she did it. So excuse me if my comment came off like she was completely disconnected from reality it doesn't tell us when she started realizing she was in a hex. But there were little indicators that brought her back to reality during the season. Like her seeing vision how he really looked. Or knowing things were off. I guess what I'm saying with Billy is Billy wanted it so bad to go to the road. I think it's pretty obvious Billy created this. Because Agatha acts like she's never been here before she doesn't know what to expect. So basically I'm talking about the subconscious creating the hex. And although you know you're going through something you don't exactly know what it is. As in for Wanda a lot of that is how she would have acted anyway being traumatized and alone. So her being defensive is her natural instinct. But no I don't think she knew she was getting played by Agatha the whole time and that's what I'm trying to say. Agatha knew what was going on in the entire time just like she knows right now. Where Wanda it doesn't tell you when she realized it but it was during those episodes she started to try to ignore reality after she created the hex and vision. At no clear point that she indicate she's aware of what's going on consciously until she widens the hex for vision cuz he was dying. But when she sends Monica flying away she definitely doesn't know everything that was going on cuz that was early in the season. And the audiences perspective is from hers just like most of this Agatha season has been from Agatha's perspective until they started telling Billys side of it. Like at this very moment Billy does not know Agatha is trying to steal his power like most of the Wanda series she did not know
Super incorrect. Lilia is older than Agatha by centuries so if this was a new grift, she'd have the historical knowledge and the clairvoyance to aee through it.
But Rio is a cosmic being and for some reason she wanted them to go on the road to take them as death so she could have done something to suppress lilias power from realising the scam
this makes ridiculous sense. ive been trying to figure out why it is that agatha is so lost during each trial despite the fact "that shes walked the road before" and this is exactly the theory ive been looking for. great video!
That is definitely a cool twist. If "The Road" was a scam Agatha created to give Death her bodies. But she didn't count on Billy who can rewrite reality like his mom, so he manifested the road which wasnt real till now. That would explain her jumpy behavior in episode 3 and her worry for Billy. I like this idea.
This makes so much sense because it’s so suspicious that agatha is the only one, in centuries, to survive the road and no one ever did like c’mon there’s other witches that are more powerful than her back then and have probably known it but chose not to because it’s either a scam or it was never written on the books as true but just a legend or a myth. Also, I wonder if ep 9; the witches road special is probably like a scam episode where we think we’re getting the origins of the first witches to enter when in fact we see Agatha creating it with rio as a trap and then after the entire flashback, we cut back to agatha vs rio fighting. “You get your power and I get my bodies” Agatha lures and kills, Rio arrives and collects.
So it turns out Agatha invented the Road as a honey trap to drain witches. And Billy created it unconsciously, as a way to get Tommy back. They both created the Witch's Road!
I think this was a good series and it didn't even end with a giant cgi fight unless you count thr fight with lady death but what I'm saying is they didn't end it wotha giant cgi fight which was good
How did you get past Agatha giving away the con to Lilia? Every time I started to think along these lines, I kept reminding myself, "No, if the point was to steal their power, she wouldn't have given one of them a heads up." It kept me from seeing any of this coming.

They read leaks of the script, they didnt come up with this on their own
Just finished the finale. It’s scary that you literally guessed almost everything correctly!
New Rockstars predicted this as well
And then after Sharon is killed by the trial she says “I didn’t think you had it in you….” She’s talking about Billy It really does make sense
yes! that’s why she said to him “are you sure” when he said he won’t hurt anyone.
His power is probably subconsciously reading their minds too.
His power is probably subconsciously reading his mind.
Also the doorway is blue to match his magic.
When they thought Billy died from the trail and Agatha was freaking out because she knew if Billy died they are stuck on the witches road.
@@socalencounter But like Wanda’s hex on Agatha, the Road hex would end if Billy actually died. They’d be stuck in the tunnels and have to wander their way out (like through the old subway station ) but the visual hex of the Witches’ Road should vanish.🤔
If this is true this would be an INSANE twist
Bigger than Rio = Death imo
i think the morgue scene (which is coming very soon) is the one where the twist could probably happen
Such a twist one could say…
It was Agatha all along?!
For realll... that's why "Agatha All Along"
@@Froot2115the next episodes are coming out together it’s the last week
It is worth noting that Billy initiated each and every trial. He picked up the invitation in Jen's trial, and the clock started ticking. He played the record and started Alice's trial. He pulled out the Ouija board for Agatha's trial. He picked up the Tarot deck in Lilia's trial and the sand glass turned. He is clearly the one controlling events, whether he realizes it or not.
Wanda's power on autopilot... Huh
We do know he's a good actor. This seems entirely freezable!
He didn’t create it, he was probably just the one to first summon it in the coven which is why it’s in his image (“the witch changes for the coven”) and that’s why he keeps knowing how to start the trials. The road is appealing to him to make everything happen.
@@MarrvelFan123 So he didn't create it but actually initiated it. A fine theory One of which I like to combat it just being his own Hex.
This is such a good theory and fits so well with everything we have seen. Jac Shaeffer has reiterated many times that Agatha is a bad person.
But as we learned, people are complex. Even “bad people.”
If Agatha attacks them then they either die or try to defend themselves and she gets power
How do you know that? I guess I’m missing something. Please enlighten!
You guessed right😂
Wild how spot-on this is. The show did a great job leaving breadcrumbs. In retrospect Agatha also wouldn't want to invite Rio since Rio would have known it was a con from the beginning
Also she played along and in the end she literally ripped the background apart to show Agatha she was upset with their little game.
Through Billy's subconscious, Agatha controlled the Road all along.
it can be Rio tho, She is Cosmic. Agatha know Rio is around.
@@MrGergasikuat She's only around when Sharon is dead though

@@MrGergasikuat I was talking about when she was inside the road.
@@MrGergasikuatlol well you are wrong

@@MichaelDG2023 Literally can be used for emphasis while not being actually true.
I think the way that it is a subtle repeat theme of the hex is really fitting and would be a huge reveal of an apple fall not far from the tree.
It's crazy how accurate this theory is

OMG that's why she insisted on "coven two" she and her son

I think because of her powers/visions even if she didn’t think it was true she still went because she saw something happening that was important also the idea of fate that she had to go there so that Rio could take her
Lilia lived her life out of sequence, though. For all we know, she could have heard about it as a child a few hundred years into her own future.

Yes. That is why the title is 'Agatha All along'.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...They have fooled us twice. The answer is, once again, Agatha All Along.
Well, it was Billy all along.
@@orgabriel100nope its still agatha all along, with her created the song, making the road real with billy’s power. its been agatha all along
Wrong.
@ woah, really? It’s almost like this guy hasn’t seen the episode yet. Weird, right?
It can be Billy at first but when ep7 introduce Death, it could possible be Lady Death, the cosmic being.
I do hope by the end, her prize will be her coven back from death/Rio
@@rjenyawd you may be right, that's something to consider. I got the impression she was yelling it at Rio because it seems to be during or just after she's attacked with the vines cutting her, but who knows, Billy may be there too. Thanks!
You got my sub. The logic and attention to detail is beyond any other channel. Great job!
You were absolutely right! Well done. 👍🏻🙌🏼
i love every detail you've shown. my mind is just blown watching all of agatha's little knowings
Woah this is insane
But how would Lilia know the part she told the Salem Seven at the end of Episode 7? "You may not know this about the road, etc"
Just finished the two episodes and I had to find this video again because why and how did you know ALL THAT
This video was ahead of its time and aged well. Here after seeing the last two eps! What a great ending to an amazing show!

You're on it! I can absolutely see this being the twist. Everything checks!
The fact that you got everything right
I had this theory a week ago after binge watching it all.
This makes the Ms.Hart thing make so much sense, she wasn’t trying to get her killed, she just needed a replacement for Rio
There's only one thing that leaves me wondering then... Why would she invite Jen who is bound and therefore unable to blast her?

Wanda didn't know she created a hex either or her vision wasn't real
Like at this very moment Billy does not know Agatha is trying to steal his power like most of the Wanda series she did not know
You were right and nailed all of them!
However, I wish I hadnt watched this video last week and the finale would have come as a big shock to me 😂
Need to recreate this with all the right details now
You got nearly everything right. Only mistake is Agatha didn't start the scam until after Nicky's death.
Not true, she used him as bait for the scam
That's the greatest detailing ever. Massive respect to notice this. I am sure this theory is correct
"Nick name is `witch killer` " - oh, that was smooth.
Damn, you called it 🫲 😭👌
This theory would be such great storytelling if it happens. Great job!
Actually, I don't think Agatha did change the ballad. I'd bet the original lyric was "coven two," because her coven was just her and Nicky.
Lilia can only perceive events within her life. Possibly she was not experienced the road ever.
@@johnstephenpajaron1502if this was the true case with her ability then how would she know to warn Agatha at the end of her trial to hit the deck?
Damn, you nailed this
Got to get this youtuber to watch other shows so we can get other predictions. Our real life Lilla here.
How did you know 6 days before we all found out?
Bro casually predicted episode 9
6:27 I did think this was odd
Coming straight from the video by A Bit Of Everything, thats a fantastic theory! It all makes so much sense
Bro got it right…
You put this all together so nice but i don't want to believe this i want to root for her 😢
This whole reveal is so good made me want to rewatch the whole series
Seems you were right…
this makes ridiculous sense. ive been trying to figure out why it is that agatha is so lost during each trial despite the fact "that shes walked the road before" and this is exactly the theory ive been looking for. great video!
your theories are immaculate. hope these turn out to be true
Fun fact: The coven enter the Road’s doorway in reverse order of their deaths.
Yeah, I didn't notice 👍🏼
Omg you’re a GENIUS
Best theory I’ve seen, we’ll see tonight
That is definitely a cool twist. If "The Road" was a scam Agatha created to give Death her bodies. But she didn't count on Billy who can rewrite reality like his mom, so he manifested the road which wasnt real till now. That would explain her jumpy behavior in episode 3 and her worry for Billy. I like this idea.
This is definitely Lilia's account because no way
This makes so much sense because it’s so suspicious that agatha is the only one, in centuries, to survive the road and no one ever did like c’mon there’s other witches that are more powerful than her back then and have probably known it but chose not to because it’s either a scam or it was never written on the books as true but just a legend or a myth.
Also, I wonder if ep 9; the witches road special is probably like a scam episode where we think we’re getting the origins of the first witches to enter when in fact we see Agatha creating it with rio as a trap and then after the entire flashback, we cut back to agatha vs rio fighting.
“You get your power and I get my bodies”
Agatha lures and kills, Rio arrives and collects.
who is more powerful?
@@PhillyDoveRio. Well… In the comics, Rio would be more powerful. She is an actual cosmic entity. But the MCU can change things at will. We shall see.
I think the rode never actually opened for her till now she's actually in the real rode
How does it feel to be right
So it turns out Agatha invented the Road as a honey trap to drain witches.
Every time I started to think along these lines, I kept reminding myself, "No, if the point was to steal their power, she wouldn't have given one of them a heads up."
It kept me from seeing any of this coming.
wow amazing work! make sense with billy always being the one starting the trial and very inspired by billy aswell
