Hi from Russia. I really love your accent and pronunciation. It's such a pleasure for learners to listen to your speech! I read Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf last week. Then I decided to go deeper and found your video where you had given a tour and shown some key places based on the book. Thanks for that!
I agree, from the pages you showed us, your wedding album is ‘cute’ and I would like to add beautifully compiled and set out. Very tastefully done. Regarding bookstores, I must say I mostly use online shopping, charity shops and book sales for my books. Maybe I need to go to a local independent bookshop this coming weekend to show my support. As always, I enjoyed your vlog🦋
@@Claire_Fenby Thank you Claire. It’s taken your reminder (and three weeks) for me to visit a local independent bookshop (which I did on Saturday, just gone). I told the lady who served me how I came to be in the shop buying the book I did. She thought it a great idea. I actually enjoyed this challenge. It made me realise that I must balance online book purchases with in store book purchases. Thank you for the inspiration 📚
Hi love the book haul. Goodnight Sweetheart! Yes loved this. I’m old so I watched it when it was originally on and I’m interested to go and see the location now you’ve mentioned it.
I remember Goodnight Sweetheart! I will now have to see if I can find it somewhere to watch it again ❤️ if you enjoy Great Circle, I think you will, and Still Life, I can recommend The Whalebone Theatre. Loved this vlog. I used to live in the East End and work in the city, so visiting Brick Lane for bagels and Columbia Road for flowers brought back some very happy memories 😊
There are some really low quality uploads on TH-cam but wouldn't recommend! Yes, I've been following the marketing campaign for The Whalebone Theatre so I really need to get around to reading it 📚 Thank you for the rec!
I loved Good Night Sweetheart!!! I'm 34 and can't remember if I watched it when it first came out or if they were reruns somehow, I did watch it when I was much younger. Now you've made me want to watch it again!
📚📚🖋 I'm halfway through The Great Circle on audible, and loving it. I've also just finished Still Life by Sarah Winman, which I notice you looking at in one of the stores. My favorite book of the year do far. I look forward to your review on Threadneedle, I've been wondering whether to read it myself. I recommend the Book Barn just outside Bath. Secondhand booksThey also take in books,if you wish to pass them on. ❤️
I haven't been to Book Barn but I've added it to my list! I'm hoping to go to Bath again this year so I'll definitely make a video if I do ✨ Sarah Winman is such an incredible writer!
My absolute favourite bookshop has to be the Blackwells in Oxford, the one on broad street. It is GORGEOUS. The Norrington Room in the basement is SUCH a beauty, truly a must visit for all booklovers, the Caffe Nero on the first floor is great, it's just wonderful!
I loved Goodnight Sweetheart. I have the series on DVD that I’ve not got around to watching yet, I’m going to start watching today now! I had no idea you could go to ‘Duckett’s Passage’, and I live in Dagenham, so not far away at all! I sense a small road trip coming on….
📚 Hi lovely, well, firstly my favourite book shop has to be in my little town of Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire and it’s The Bookcase. I love witchy books 🧙♀️ and growing up near Pendle Hill in Lancashire fuelled my fascination, so I’m going to put Threadneedle on my list. Also, I absolutely adore your dress/top, may I ask where it’s from? xx 📚
Thank you so much for watching! I love Hebden Bridge and definitely need to go and visit again when we're back living in Yorkshire 📚 The top is from M&S!
I immediately purchased Great Circle after watching this. I’m on a bit of an aviation meets Hollywood kick thanks to Top Gun: Maverick so I couldn’t resist! One of my favourite bookshops is BMV in Toronto! 📚
I love the Tudors as well. I too read nonfiction on them but I also love to read Tudor fiction as well. I am always looking for good Tudor fiction. It seems to be published in cycles.
I completely agree! It definitely fell in and out of fashion in publishing. Alison Weir really is the queen of the tudors right now in terms of fiction 📚
I actually stopped watching this video to go look up “Goodnight Sweetheart”🙈 I’ve never heard of it but I need to add it to my watchlist! The House of Dudley is on my Tudor TBR, too. Can’t wait to hear what you think of it! 📚
📚 My book shop recommendation would be in South Florida since that’s where I live. If you’re ever here I recommend Books and Books an independent bookshop in Miami. Your wedding book looked beautiful! 😃
Massolit Bookshop in Cracow, Poland Akademska Kniga in Skopje, North Macedonia Dukagjini Bookstore in Prishtina, Kosovo They all have English books. Massolit Bookshop has also a few secondhand books, Dukagjini has a piano and Akademska Kniga pet parrots.
Ooh, I hope you like The Kingdoms! I read it last year and it was a wild ride! EDIT: All my favorite bookshops are in New York, as that's where I live. If you ever visit the city, check out any of the McNally Jackson locations!
Good night sweetheart was on tv when I was little in Australia I remember but I have watch again to remember it all.❤

My favorite “local” bookstore is Book Passage in Marin County, California. 📚. I would love to visit all the ones you show!
I know Goodnight Sweetheart, we used to watch it and liked the show. 🙂 I was a teenage when it was on.
I haven't been to any of the book shops in this video, but seeing this definitely makes me want to visit them all.
I hope you do! They're all amazing

Favorite bookshop in Stockholm is Söderbokhandeln 📚
watched goodnight sweatheart when they used to put it on drama or yesterday. Think they did 2 or 3 runs of it and watched both.
OMG I love your Virginia Woolf mug!!! I am a huge fan of Virginia Woolf. Loved your vlog. Hello from one book lover to another :)

📚 El Ateneo Grand Splendid in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Wasn't expecting to see Beigel Bake on booktube today, classic spot
It’s featured way too often on my channel 😂 Slight addiction
Could you do a video on your favorite historical nonfiction books?
I'd love to one day! I always get imposter syndrome when talking about non-fiction even though I read so much of it... not sure why!
I actually stopped watching this video to go look up “Goodnight Sweetheart”🙈 I’ve never heard of it but I need to add it to my watchlist!
The House of Dudley is on my Tudor TBR, too. Can’t wait to hear what you think of it! 📚

The way I want to move to London. ♥️
I always feel super lucky to live here ✨
Thanks for this video :) Totally beside the point, but absolutely love your lip colour. What lip product are you wearing?

Sara, me too!! I always dream about this 📚
📚 💚
I like what you're wearing. Is it a blouse, or dress? It's perfect for a book shopping video.
It’s a blouse! One of my favourites
