Check your suspension components, too! We hit some big bumps driving through Denver and broke the right front spring! Didn't know it happened till we got the camper home and saw the wheel chocks wouldn't fit between the 2 tires on the passenger side. Thats when we found the broken spring. Because of the broken spring, the axle was so far out of alignment, the 2 front tires wore enough that they needed to be replaced, too.
When you mentioned sawdust from when you bought it, I could relate. We have a rear kitchen and every time we get to our destination we have sawdust on the back counter by the window.
I have heard that is a difficult road at certain places. Just came across your channel and Congrats on going full time travel with your jobs. Thanks for sharing with us. Take care and safe travels. Dave.
My family and I have driven to Alaska and back with our travel trailer the previous two summers. That stretch of road from Tok to destruction bay is the worst roads of the trip. The first summer I was in a hurry to get out of the Yukon before our 24 hour restriction ( Covid rules) in the territory was up and the frost heaves beat up my expedition pretty bad. Last summer I took that experience and didn’t try and drive any faster than 45 mph for that whole distance and it made everything much more comfortable, I managed to make that part of the drive without damaging anything. Not sure if we will be doing that drive again this year or not but it sure was worth it each time we have done it.
It really is the worst part of the road. That is a short window for the Yukon, very happy those times are behind us! We do agree that the trip is worth it. We will keep that in mind when we make this trip again!
Your video just popped up on my feed. We rode the Alcan last summer on our motorcycles and I told Joy I would never bring our camper on that road. Hope you made it home without any damages!
Hi👋🏻! New sub here! We're actually staying in the same campground where you are, and saw your channel name on the back of your rig. 😊 Anyway, glad to have found you and can't wait to follow your adventures.
How was the Kluane Lake Boondocking? Looking at making the trip and wanna have space for 2 trucks w 2 large 32’ trailers and not have to pay. Big enough for 2 you think? Quiet and safe?
The spot we were in you could for sure fit. There were plenty of other spots as well, but they were taken when we got there. We felt safe and it was quiet. We used i-overlander app and campendium to help us find boondocking the whole way there.
I know you are on the way back or are, put small items in plastic containers, use Velcro straps on cabinet doors. Boondocking in Canada I read is illegal on the road cutouts. Am I wrong? (Overnight)
Thanks for the tips. We never read anything about that in our research at the time, in regards to boondocking. We saw plenty of others doing the same as well.
@@Registered_Nomads if you put “can you park your Rv in Canada” you will see spending the night at rest stops and shopping malls is strictly prohibited.
@@Registered_Nomads Oh, yeah those are very nice the wife and I love that one and we also love the 340RL but we bought a Motorhome instead, safe travel.
I’ve traveled that roadway several times with no problems. 7:51 you guys don’t know how to pack and secure your items. One thing might help in the future, slow down.

I'm sorry to hear that, at least you made home safe! Thankfully nothing else broke and we gave it a good look afterwards.
I just loved Marty's little face as you drove along. He stayed put despite the big bump! Glad all 3 of you OK.
Thank you! HaHa yes, Morty is a very good rider!
When you pulled over I was yelling "please don't leave that knife set there" as if you could hear me.
Oh we don't anymore!! Lesson DEFINITELY learned haha
Great adventure thanks for taking us along can't wait to see what's next
Glad you enjoyed it Thank you for watching

It seems to never end!

Thank you so much! It was a tough road, but it was worth it!

Nothing else broke thankfully! That would be an awesome trip on a motorcycle!
At least you guys are okay and enjoying the journey 😊
Enjoying everyday of it! Thank you!
2018 we drove on the wrong side a lot. Was there for 3 months. Going back this year. Safe Travels From Show Me RV Adventures. Clayton&Denise.
We did that all the time on that road. Enjoy your trip!
Nice spot ! The ranger at the park at the lake told me to think Hawaiian "ku-la-ne". I made the Alaska ride in "06.
Thanks for the info! It is a beautiful location.
Slow down and enjoy !!!!!
Next time we go we plan to take more time for sure! We had a limited timeline for this trip, but it was still amazing!
When we drove it in 2022, Tok to Destruction Bay was worse than The Top of the World Highway between Dawson City and Tok.
It really is.
Whitehorse to Tok is 35mph when towing. Ice heaves…
Next time on this section, for sure!
Clue on ee is how Kluane is pronounced... grew up in the Yukon...
Thank you! The Yukon is beautiful!

Thats awesome, thank you! It is a nice campground :) you also have a new sub now!
@@Registered_Nomads aww thank you! Happy comping and safe travels!
Check with Alliance but I believe your not supposed to stop the slide until it is completely out or in. It could get off track
We always put it part way out in order to check for anything that may have fallen. Haven't had any issues so far (crossing fingers).
Find a Bob to follow. When Bob slows you slow when Bob bounces you slow down….no Bob slow down. Lol
We did this when we could, it does help for sure.
Hey, was wondering what that sling is you have for Morty in the truck?
It can be found in our Amazon store under 'Morty's Favorite Things' It's worked great for 2 years with no issues!

What part of Wisconsin do you live in? Nice to see fellow Wisconsinites out and about.
We are from the southwest area of the state! Safe travels!

Still traveling! we're in the southeast.
What model Alliance is that, we like at the 310RL and the 340?
Ours is a 2021 310RL :)

Marty was looking like he wanted to see the folder😂
Morty
He is always wanting to be involved :)
Muchachos estoy triste por lo que les pasó pero a la vez alegré porque se que están bien saludos desde Colombia
Thankfully it was only some minor things that broke. Thank you for watching!
And we thought California Highways were bad . Lol, safe travels
Right?! We will eventually have our videos from the west coast as well, stay tuned!

First time we've ever had things move like that, but lesson learned for the next time we go!
