I did this repair myself My camera was broken and only displayed a black screen. After replacing it was glitching when I would switch to the front camera it would display the rear camera but didn’t display any black screen anymore. If I switch to the rear camera it would work fine no problems would only glitch when switching to the front. Mind you I bought the phone like this. Tried to update to the newest iOS with no luck. Somehow I downloaded iOS 15 beta but didn’t work still. A weeks later a newer update for the beta is out and now my camera works. Weird how that works. Anyways yes if you remove the camera it will DISABLE Face ID. I’m coming from an iPhone 8 so I never really had it and can live without it. Good luck to everyone

Hello sir. If you replace the XR selfie camera, I know Apple disables Face ID. But I think they disable the selfie camera all together. Can you confirm?

@@eclipse8772 lol 2 years ago but the reason apple disables it when you replace it from non official apple repair centers is because apparantly they can steal your face identity and other things and plus apple is like known to like cancel third party repair so that they can do it instead and charge you more. i used to fix phones, pcs, consoles before i got into making goofy music"
