It's better if you don't put a note to every single syllable they sing, just go through the melody and let it flow as if the song was made for the guitar. It's just in the beginning that I would adjust tho. Little adaptations like this always make it better, although there's not much to complain. I like your cover :)) this is my favorite bts song, and the way you played it made it kinda romantic, lol. I loved it

I'm learning but I don't know how to read tabs.. can someone help me how to read tabs? I'm struggling on learning tutorials bc they are always tabs..
SwaegSwaegSuga I've also included the music notes (in relation to the capo) to the tabs. However reading tabs is very easy. There are six lines and each line represents a string. The top line represents the high 'E' string and the line down from that represents the 'B' string and so on. The numbers represent which fret you put your fingers on and play. If a string had a zero on it, then it is an open string and you just play it as it is. The lines with no numbers on them are not played. The crosses are basically a filler and can be played by slaps or any other percussion technique. I hope this helps. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask :))

I have just had a total breakdown because I tried for like the thousands time to play this and I can't do the slapping thing 😭
iKR I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT SAKLDJLSAKJDLKSJAD i tried flicking my thumb but like asdkjfhkladsjf
To do the slapping and playing strings at the same time. Use your thumb to hit the top string (low E), and use your middle finger or index to play the other strings like 2 or 3 (depends on the tab). Mine i use my middle finger because it's a lot easier. Don't worry it's not that hard even if it's your first time. It's a technique that you can learn in just weeks. I hope y'all keep practicing. :)

There are 2 different types of tabs in the link. One is gpx and the other is pdf. If you don't have guitar pro software make sure you download the pdf version! The pdf version should work for all devices

can i use your tab even if i don't have capo? im a beginner and just started learning reading tab using yours. I find it cumbersome to use another tab with no capo and start reading and memorizing all over again.
Yes! You definitely can :) it will only sound lower than the original. If you want you can also use a pencil and rubber bands to make a contemporary capo. I've done this and it works well. There's heaps of tutorials on it :D
Thanks! how did you play the x part there? The x on the first 4 staffs are just easy to play. but starting on the 5th staff, it's already difficult. I tried looking for tutorials about it saying it's palm muting. but theirs is muting the 6 strings at once; while on yours, one string is just muted. do you have tutorial about it? Please, help me further.
The 'x' in my tabs actually symbolises a percussive slap or hit on the guitar body. There isn't really an actual symbol for percussive slap (I think) so I just used the palm mute symbol. You should be able to find tutorials on the percussive slap :)
