Great video and I appreciate your recommendations. I disagree with 3 of them... 1. On My Side MM: I do agree that it is very expensive, but it doesn't compare to the Empreinte Neverful. It is made of premium leather and very luxurious with gorgeous hardware. It has lots of pockets for organization. Top handles and a longer strap for shoulder or even cross body carry. It is also more structured than the Neverful. 2. Bella: Yes, it is very expensive too. But Mahina leather is so beautiful and luxurious with the understated perforated monogram. The attention to detail is amazing. And it looks more refined than the Neonoe. Now, if you are only interested in a bucket style bag in a lower price range, then the Neonoe is a great alternative. 3. Carryall: In my case, it is an alternative to the Neverful. I've always liked the look and vibe of the Neverful but the straps are too short and uncomfortable for me. So when LV released the Carryall I went for it in the PM size. I like that the strap is thick and adjustable, love the microfiber lining with interior pockets and the detachable pouch. I love the different opinions in this community and how we can all appreciate this bags in different ways. 🥰
LV Mahina leather is cut with a laser. I have a wallet with it. That bucket bag is gorgeous. I would get the Carmel in that print but I can't justify the price.
Yes, I, too, have the Iris wallet (a full-size wallet) in Ivory, and a lovely bag I bought in the Galet colour. Back then, it wasn't *that* expensive (compared to today's prices, I mean). Very beautiful with the laser-cut LVs and -Symbols!
Oh snap I preordered the Christmas version of the Felicie - it arrives on Wednesday and I can’t wait!! I also got it in the Paris print. I agree the price was a bit shocking. So I’ll see how in love I am with it…
The Onmyside is a beautiful, quality bag. I had to return mine because it was too heavy for me. It’s amazing to me that people will buy a Birken which is incredible expensive and has to be hand carried. But to each his own 😊
It really is like a Birkin 30 but with the addition of a shoulder strap and outer pockets. I love the look of this bag and the leather looks beautiful.

I'd have to disagree on the Dauphine. I have it and compared to other canvas bags, the construction of it and the feel of it is much more luxurious. I mean, I love the Neverfull too, but at the end of the day, it's just a shapeless canvas sack (which is partly why I love it) - there's not much construction there, plus there's very little hardware. Same with the Speedy (which I don't have, but plenty of friends/family do). I wouldn't compare them to the Dauphine, just because they're all canvas. I would also disagree with the On the Go. I don't have it (it's not practical for me), but have seen and felt it in the boutique, and it feels so much more luxurious than the Neverfull. I wouldn't buy it, for the reasons you listed (too boxy, too awkward to manoeuvre), but it is still a stunner.
Great list. Personally I don’t like Louis Vuitton bag that has lock on it. I have PM but the lock just annoying me a lot. Sometimes I thought I closed but it doesn’t. I don’t know if anyone has same problem. Thank you so much for sharing darling 🙏
Do you mean the Pochette Metis dear Irene? I solved that problem by always keeping my wallet in the front pocket. Because of the resistance from the extra volume inside, the lock clicks like a charm every time. For the past two years, I’ve never had a problem again, on any of my three Metis.
I keep going back and forth on the Felicie. I tried it on in black empriente leather and it was stunning. That chain is simply gorgeous, but I have a black Chanel WOC and it feels duplicative. The snap closure felt a bit fussy and I noticed that it would be a struggle to fit both the card holder and pouch in the Felicie with a phone and a key fob. That cognac color though is calling my name.
I started to buy the same FP Paris & went left got the Double Zip in Bicolor instead earlier today. Gave my poor SA/ CA a doozie of a time trying to help me decide where to spend my money. We want me to save my money for the goodies coming up & out. Luv ur video's this one helped me in knowing I was smart & didn't get caught up in the moment. I got a mini pochette which hurt to pay $300 more than last year of what I could have gotten on ebay but ya I bit the bullet paid it & got a $300 notebook w/ stickers & a bandeau. She showed me video of the NY FP & that yellow is so pretty it just pops & is intensely saturated. So many lovely bags but we can't take them all home. Thank you for your advice!!

I pretty much agree with everything you said ! I really liked the dauphine a few years ago but went for the vaugiraud instead and don’t regret it ! I do have the onthego mm in black empreinte and I love it but o already have 4 neverfulls so wanted a more luxurious tote but if I could only have 1 the neverfull would win ! And the speedy 25 I have the classic i really wish it was the bandouliere ❤
I have the on the go tote gm Black empreinte. But I love structured bags. Also I wanted a black tote with not so noticeable logos. fell in love when I saw the inside. Reminds me of fall (it’s my fav season). However once they came out with the neverfull version I feel I should have waited. Lol. I saw it in person and wanted it right away. Didn’t buy it. But still think about it
What do you think about the croisette? I was looking at her today and when I went back to the store the lady right behind me bought it when I put it down. 😭 I can always order it but there is something about buying it in person.
I tried the Croisette in damier azure/rose ballerine and maybe since I had just tried the Dauphine with the microfiber lining… the croisette just felt… much less luxurious and the opening was small! I think my experience was ruined by trying a nicer bag! Even though I went to get the Croisette, I left with nothing!
I also love the Lock Me Tender! I went to try it on and the strap length is really weird. It’s one with snaps so you only have 2 length options and the longest length was too long for cross body on me (I’m 5’4”) and was above my hip cross body on the shorter length. Was super bummed because it’s such a nice bag!! Better for a taller person. Just FYI from my experience!❤
Price makes such a big difference to pieces that could otherwise be really fantastic overall ! I also really enjoyed your alternatives. Now I may have heard you wrong but I have a feeling you like the Neverfull ?😜 It was definitely a great alternative to many ☺️☺️
I agree for the OTG. I actually bought one and regretted it. It’s way too rigid and boxy. I wanted to travel with it and oh man, no! I went back to my Neverfull in no time. I ended up selling my OTG and I never looked back. I lost money of course, so lesson learned. The carry all for me would be the leather version only but still, not a good option if you already have a Neverfull. I actually also agree for the Felicia and even more the Dalphine.
I don’t have anyone in my everyday life to ask about bags n’ stuff so I’m asking you- how do you feel about Salvatore Ferragamo? I’m thinking about buying a black mini tote that I can wear at work ( I’m a librarian) to have my diabetes monitor in( it’s an app in my phone connected to me) do you know anything about their leather and quality? About Mahina leather- just saw a lovely pouch on LV s website made of mahina. Want it.
If have known I wouldn't have bought my Felicie😒. I end up buying the Multi Pochette and I used it more. The Felicie looks so nice but it has no give. I saw a lot of people overstuffed it a bit and it just shows it's a lil small for everyday even when you wanna go minimal as much as possible. You really wouldn't know till you start using the bag.
Ouch you came for two of my bags! No offense taken, we all have different tastes. The Onmyside came out a couple of years ago. I have the black/tan/mono version. It’s not really a tote, it’s a shoulder bag. And it’s much more sophisticated than the Neverfull. I personally love the OTG. I have the MM size and find it more luxurious & elegant than the Neverfull.
Not even done watching but I have to say, I have the Felicie in Damier Ebene. It’s small like an evening bag but LV canvas looks pretty casual. I’ve only worn it once in 2 years 😭 the multi-pochette is so much more useable for everyday! You’re right! Don’t buy the Felicie ☝🏽
