Mystic Springs Recreation Area offers free RV camping, tent camping, stunning scenic views, river access, and a boat ramp. Access is via US Route 29. There is a spring about 50' 10 oclock from #8 picnic table. Foundations of mill wheels between 1 and 2..very interesting campground..

This is located at 591 Mystic Springs Road Cantonment, Fl - in NW Florida - note he gives the Longitude/Latitude even! These sites are for RV's OR Tent Camping - Thanks for great work on all of these free campsites in Florida.

Good report! We stayed in site #7 and there is a fire ring of sorts there now. It was 'in-my-mind' the worst of the sites. Nice views, but very unlevel. Not easy to move around like all the other sites. I agree that #8 is probably the nicest site for space & privacy. You should have walked in at the Group Site Area. That is the nicest area there! First to get sun in the am and plenty of trees for shading!

i WILL be checking this one out. one suggestion when you go places could you maybe say a bit more than something like its in NW florida....maybe something like close to this place or that town...or 5 miles from such n such. just a suggestion...give the viewer some sense of where in the world you are. thank you

Did you location the clear spring? We hiked around the entire spring and believe it's up the creek/stream. There's a geocache out in the area of where I believe it is.. Sorry to say we did not find either...

According top the map at their website there were 9 sites. I didnt see a 9 on your video, i will go watch again, maybe i missed it
Maybe the group camping area is included in the tally. I did a pretty thorough walk-through and didn't see a ninth campsite in the main camping area.
@@LivingOurDreamNow on the map, it's across the road from 8, it's even hard to see from satellite pics. I found it on the reservation site. it's looks hugh.
What is the maximum stay?
I believe the max stay it is 6 or 7 nights. When you go to make your online reservation it will give you both the parameters and the associated availability prior to making the reservation. Thanks for watching. Lou

There is no restriction to my knowledge about swimming in the river, but know that snakes and alligators are in these waters.
