Thank you for making this excellent part 1 and 2 video. My Stihl MS211 is now running and looking like new after not starting due to a scored piston. Dealer advised to bin it, but following your video was good for my wallet and the planet. Thank you again
anyone know how to ensure the oil pump is seated perfectly (at the correct depth) so its discharge hole lines up w/ the hole that receives the lube? most videos on installing a stihl oil pump say to push it in until it won't go any further but on the ms211 this rule doesn't seem to apply.
Thanks Matthew. Still editing part 2. Hopefully everyone will enjoy the finished product. I decided to do something different as it might be useful. Most people probably have one in their garage that may need some TLC. Always nice to hear from you
Hi, apologies for the many ads but I have left it in automatic mode for youtube to place the ads. I will have a look and see if I can reduce the amount of ads myself. Most of my videos are short, but for some reason youtube puts loads of ads on the longer videos. Thanks for your feedback
The chainsaw was not running whilst carying it on my shoulder. I had recorded the sound previously and just added the sound when editing the video. The beauty of 21st century tech😁

That Stihl looks like somebody cutting with it without starting a engine...LOL!
