At 54:00 in, you add New Orleans as a place of delivery for cotton and a pick up for textiles. Then you add New Orleans as a drop off for textiles while during the same stop. I had no idea you could do this! What an eye opener. I managed to win the scenario, not doing that, but had I done the same thing, it would have been much easier. Thank you for all of your helpful videos.
Hi .. it's me again. What I do with double tracking is to put in a couple of crossovers along the route in alternating directions. This will allow trains to leave the station even if two trains are using the track on both sides in the other direction. I would say on your double track maybe 6 crossovers should do
I avoid all crossovers and merges with my sweetheart line. My experience is that they cause delays. However, what you are suggesting (multiple crossovers) might help.
Hi Adekyn .... glad to see your back with this game .... after I got the update I started playing it again, and I must say they seem to have done a lot of work on it .... I found it was running a lot better ... you that it's a bit tedious laying double track, but the funny thing ist that none of the most played train games allow laying of double tracks, not even the new TF 2 ... there was one of the very old games that did, can't remember which it was .... the question is why not
Yay More trains - Thank you for putting your games up for us to watch! I notice that two of your trains have not moved T25 and T26 - I suspect these are your mail trains for Mobile?? I look forward to the next video.
I'm asked that a lot. They are similar in that they both have train-fueled economies and challenging scenarios. Railway Empire is much more mature - little to no bugs or quirky behavior and excellent track laying mechanics. Railroad Corporation has clumsy track laying and no user-controlled signals so it can be challenging to get used to. I enjoy playing both and would recommend both, but if you only want one, for me it is Railway Empire hands down.
@@Adekyn100 thanks. Yeh I'm loving railway empire atm. Haven't been hooked to a transport builder since transport tycoon back in 95ish. It's revived my love for these types of games.
Well .. I don't even consider myself a train spammer .. and I got up to 300% cost for number of trains on Mission 3 (I started the campaigns over to better pick my skills between missions, so at missions 7-12 i should have a better owner). Also .. you can now build Bridges over existing track .. HOORAY!! Now going to stop playing for a while and watch episodes 2 and 3 in this series :)

Railroad Tycoon 3 had a double track option.
@@Adekyn100 All the RRTycoon games allowed double tracking.
Oh goody.
Trains. Good.

T25 and T26 sit there for a long time before I finally notice them.
i finished this one with 4 days to spare! haha
How does this game compare to Railway Empire?

I'm not sure keeping your costs down is worth doing provided the extra trains and buildings can make money.
