Beautiful explaination Dr.Ashar. Before saying that u r an extraordinary amazing heart doctor , I want to tell you that u r an extraordinary human being with beautiful heart.Thank you for so much care and concern towards my father. l really grateful for that.
Very nicely explained in a simple language with easy to understand references. Thank you so much for sharing such important information. The planning and choreography of the video is seamless, perfectly paced with appropriate delivery of information! Loved the animations, makes it even easier to understand. Evidently a lot of effort is put into the video. Keep it up doc, the saver of lives! 👍 Very motivating 🙌
Thanks for the question, Hadgeji. Clopidogrel is a blood thinner. It is started for patients with blockages in the heart or elsewhere. How long it is to be continued depends on the patients pre existing conditions. After angioplasty it is usually continued for 6 months to 1 year with Aspirin. It may be continued longer in some patients. After one year, single blood thinner is continued in such patients long term. Hope this helps.
Thank u Doctor. U spoke about AED for electric shock heart attack patients. Is it available in surgical shops , if it s can we keep it at home ? Pls explain about how to use AED. If I want know more about CPR, how can I contact u. Thank u 🙏
Sir you told that the golden hour concept I want to know that which pateint is fit for thrombolysis, thrombolysis indication n What are the risk factors for thrombolysis. How can we take decision over it can do thrombolysis or Angiography Please
Any patient with a chest pain or angina like symptoms with diagnosis of Acute MI with changes of mi should be given reperfusion therapy. Primary angioplasty is the gold standard treatment for acute mi. Thrombolysis as an option should be given in setups where facilities of angioplasty are not present. With thrombolysis, there is an inherent bleeding risk for patients. Hope this helps.
