I work at a HomeGoods store that just recently went through a refurbishment this past fall, and now watching your videos I fully understand why such a thing is so important in today's businesses: If the store looks depressing and old, no one will shop there.
I live on the same street as this mall and it was once the most happening place in Ocoee. Now, it's a shell of its former self and we're all rooting for the new owners to turn it around, one way or another. It was a blast to see you cover this mall and you did a great job of pointing out some of the challenges it faces.
Yeah I used to go to this mall a lot because it was close to the Florida Turnpike. It used to be a nice mall and was much nicer than the mall in my hometown.
Yeah don't expect a Moonbeam capital mall to do anything other than slowly wither away. If I didn't know any better, I would think the company was shell company for dead mall youtubers creating places to film.
It's so crazy because it was only 6-7 years ago when it really started to decline. I think the groves in WG played a part in the death of west oaks. Buuut, considering the fact that millenia and fl mall are so far, it's kinda surprising that it got to this point.
PurpleSwordfish Century 3 mall in Pittsburgh is owned by Moonbeam and it finally closed after the saddest and slowest decline of a mall ever. (Maybe not but for someone who loved that mall as a kid) So I wouldn’t hold your breath.
Yup, it’s a Gen X wasteland. Gen X is the forgotten generation, and speaking as a member of that generation I’m ok with that. I wouldn’t trade my childhood for today’s. But yes, the nostalgia brought on by these vids is strong.
i grew up going to this mall and have been waiting for it to appear in the series. that carousel probably hasnt moved an inch in a long time lol. me and my sister would always argue over who got to ride the dragon. 😫 thanks dan for the nostalgia and the gentle reminder that my childhood is dead! love your work.
Got here from a Reddit thread expecting some insight on various dead malls around America, like their history and whatnot. Got a creepy guy wandering around laughing at random stuff. I'm hooked.
I always used to go to this mom as a kid with my mom to watch a movie and ride the merry-go-round. Eventually, it got less and less safe with gangs starting to hang out at dusk and nighttime, and eventually there was a point where we stopped going. A while back, a bunch of high school gang members took over the mall and had a standoff with police throughout the whole night, and it still hasn’t gotten any better. Anyone living in the area knows this is not a good place to be at - far too dangerous and just not nice anymore, at all. Pretty sad to see, when you think about it.
Sadly I knew those high schoolers, the word got out and it spread all over school, nonstop it was talked bout in and out what happen was crazy, plus I use to live infront of it 🤦🏻♂️, u r right bout the nighttime it used to almost be a drug ring or there will be fights once in a while but after the mall started dying thats when all of this starting happening, sad to see all go downhill
I’ve been working at the Dillards Clearance for the last few weeks. Anytime I go out into the mall during my lunch break it’s usually just quiet with an exception of the DMV office and the food court.
These mall series makes me sad. It reminds me of a better time in life when I was growing up in the 80's and 90's --- a world where people actually socialized and though life was a bit harder, it was more enjoyable and we were all happy. Thing is, it'll never go back to that ... never.
Dan, I have a theory about why people like these videos. We live in a brutal society and so many people of all stripes feel like they have somehow failed to live up to the standards that were set for us as kids. I think that when people see these malls they realize that it isn't them. The middle class has been gutted by events of the past thirty years and the malls show us that we are not alone in this. This is just one man's opinion. I enjoyed your TED talk and I, oddly, enjoy these videos, which is what got me to thinking about why. Thanks.
If I wasn't able to get it delivered to my door for half the cost and more choices, I'd be inclined to believe you. I don't know where folks are getting their money, but the economy is booming right now!
Spazz, the economy is booming for some. For a significant percentage of Americans the economy isn't booming at all. It might be hard for you to see, but it is the case. Also, I understand that the issue is more complex and that many products are cheaper online. This doesn't change the essential appeal of these videos, nor does it alter my original opinion. My comment is roughly a response to something that Dan says in his TED talk about why so many people seem to be interested in these otherwise depressing images. I was offering a possible explanation.
Hi Dan :) Please come to Georgia and film the Gwinett Place Mall in Duluth - it used to be huge & is now definitely dead/dying - it got so bad that a dead body stayed in their food court for 2 WEEKS before being discovered. It's unreal. Moonbeam has also taken over the property, just like other dead malls you've mentioned. Would love to see it in your series. Thanks for your work as always!
How the hell do I turn this video on, then it feels like immediately the video ends. Where did my 12 minutes of life go!?!? Dan Bell the destroyer of time with awesome videos!
It does make you wonder which came first the shuttering or the dead mall girls? Are they like the girl in the ring movies? Harbingers property mgmt hangs much to storefronts vexation of having vapid visages vitiate from the vestibule, as if verifying a virulent vow by vouchsafing a villians vicissitude they must vacate for the void.
I've lived in Ocoee all my life, and literally watching the West Oaks Mall slowly lose business was a pretty depressing thing to experience. Used to be a happening place. The only thing keeping it alive is the AMC theater.
WoundrousMindTrick Ocoee is a small-medium sized town here in central FL, mostly a working class city. There isn't that much to do here, most of the time if anybody wants to do activities nearby they'll go to Winter Garden, which has an outdoor mall that is partly the reason why the West Oaks was losing its business. And yes, Klingberg is a Swedish name but my dad is 100 percent German born and raised!
WoundrousMindTrick I'm only 17, so thankfully no, I won't be here for much longer. I would be incredibly depressed to be living here the rest of my life in all honesty. I've seen everything there is here, and barely anything changes.
That's the most beautiful food court I've ever seen! I love the murals over the food area and all the windows. The whole mall looks great, and brand new despite being 22 years old. If only it was in a better area.
That food court was always so magical to me when I was little because of the murals and the carousel! Plus it was always bustling. The skylights all throughout the mall were incredible.
This place use to be amazing and a fun place to go too. Now it's not like that anymore which sucks honestly. I don't remember the last time I was there but I certainly know I have gone there for either the movies or Spencer's that's it.
I think dead malls should be turned into schools or colleges, The set up is right for classes. I feel big box stores were the first hit to the malls then the internet is the final hit. When they first came about they were very convenient all the stores in one place, ppl overlooked the parking madness and the crowds. Nice video Blessings
So sad these malls are slowly closing. I remember in the 70s when malls were first born, it was such a thrill to go to the mall and now everyone shops online! Creepy music....especially the Billy Idol song....lol!
soccerchick9841 i used to work in west oaks mall at jcpenney, and they hire just the right amount of people they need so everyone gets the hours they need or if its peak season like the holidays or summer when back to school shopping is big theyll hire more people since they have so much business but then let go anyone that they dont once the season is over
i work for a Landlord for malls and shopping centers. Leases and License Agreements establish standard hours and require certain levels of staffing, so that might save some jobs!
They work 2 or 3 jobs. I talked to a girl at a Claire's at my local dying mall. After only 3 weeks she was manager, but had to work 2 jobs. It's not easy!
Hoooooooooly shiiiiiiiit. I went to this mall a few times when me and Dad went on vacation to visit his relatives between 2005 and 2006, each on summertime. His sister's house was located about 8 minutes or so away, and me and Dad even jogged to there once as I went to the Borders there and I specifically remember buying the third volume of Azumanga Daioh there in '05 AND reading the Viz Media preview copy of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo there in '06. My feet were aching but that visit alone there was just so worth it. Borders was just gone too soon, man. I remember visiting an fye for the first time there to see that it's similar to the Spec's Music here in Plaza Las Americas, by having lots of anime DVD's available, too. I honestly didn't expect you to cover it, so...yeah, what a time.
I spent so much time at this mall. Three jobs, trips with family and friends, dates... I am so sad that the whole area has basically shut down. I miss Borders the most. I can't believe Spencer's is still open.
I grew up going to this mall. I have so many memories playing in that little play area, the food court, the carousel, etc. Such a shame it has pretty much died in the last few years. I think a lot of it had to do with the popularity of the nearby Altamonte Mall plus it got a bad reputation from some "rough" teenagers that would hang around there. AMC 14 is still a great place to go to though. Tickets are less than half the cost of other nearby AMCs.
Michael Hoang give it about 5-7 years when it will be more of interest, like a throwback. Right now it’s too fresh. I still cant believe they’re closing smh
Lol I live in Apopka, Fl.. approximately 10 minutes from Ocoee. This maal used to be one of the BEST malls to go to locally for something quick or a firs date ot just to hang out.. i dont know what happened...
I live in Altamonte Springs Fl. Thank god the Altamonte Mall is still alive and doesn’t show any signs of dying soon but I remember this mall being semi-alive..what happened??
Just too close to a bad area and every weekend attracted young people who would be rowdy and never buy anything. I used to work there and the place could just get ridiculous on friday night with kids causing trouble. Drove away a lot of the people who buy things and eventually stores followed.
You know what? Empty stores aside, the physical structure of the mall is actually pretty nice. Looks like it'd make a nice place for a megachurch to set up shop, or with some work, a residential area. Such a shame to see it get wasted.
I live 10 minutes from this mall and was in here a few weeks ago and I even said to myself that you should visit. I just screamed when I saw this. It feels like my small town has made the big time! Excellent work as always, Mr. Dan Bell!
By the way, you guys are only (or would be if you posted it on instagram) the second people to ever post a #WOMSelfie , while the first was done in NOVEMBER OF 2014! That board is over 5 years old!
Absolutely love the atmosphere of these dead malls. It's like they're almost frozen in a bygone time, but still stand open today. Dan Bell makes the best videos hands down. Everything from the cinematography, to the music and transitions, to even the general narration and history of these places is done to perfection. Keep up the great work Dan!
Other dead malls in Orlando area: Oviedo Mall (nice area, just over malled with Waterford Lakes) built in 1998, also check out Seminole Town Center in Sanford (nice area, also over malled with Altamonte Mall) built in 1995.
The Conservative Pelican is Seminole town center dead? I haven't been there in years. The traffic in that area is crazy now. I live next to the altamonte mall so I never have reason to go that way.
It sucks because Will won't be in them anymore. It'll be another guy... Can't remember 1st name, but last name is Evangalista. Will will be missed....lol!
The nostalgia of malls I will never get over. I wish they would never go away. I live in Minneapolis, so as many times as I have been to the Mall of America I never get tired of it. The 80s and 90s will never die for me
I’ve seen your Dead Mall series in its entirety, and I always get sad seeing the malls as a ghost town. This is is my childhood mall. I remember when it opened, my first job was here, I remember when it started to decline. I’m so sad this made it to your series, but you filmed it beautifully. Thanks for documenting it!
As soon as I saw a video from you on West Oaks Mall, I flipped out!! This was my childhood mall!! I grew up with that mall and would go to it often, my mom also worked at this mall as a store manager. It used to be thriving, a really good place to go. I have a lot of fun memories from that place. It's sad seeing it so empty now, and I haven't gone to it in over 10 years because there was no reason to go anymore. I dreamed of a youtuber on here filming this mall for me to see.. Because of that I'm glad you filmed a walkthrough of the mall, thank you. I also laughed at that instagram photo at the end. Edit: I forgot to mention that not only has the mall been financially struggling, but another large contributor to all the brands and customers leaving is that crime has gone up a lot too. I heard that shoplifting and car break-ins happen often at this mall. I think a lot of people don't feel very safe going to this mall either. Something's also wrong with the air conditioning recently, so the mall feels hot in the summer.
First off, I was so excited to see you posted a new dead mall video!! I check every week to see if there’s one up and I was so psyched to see you did. I had to do a double take when I saw it was in Florida though?! This was such a treat!!! Whenever I watch these videos I get this sad nostalgic feeling but I never knew the place. I actually grew up close to this mall and had been there a few times. After seeing your dead mall series I tried to find TH-cam videos about this mall because I knew it was pretty dead but couldn’t find any good footage. I’m so, so happy you came and filmed this! The mall used to be so lively and so full of people. It’s always been such a pretty mall and used to be filled with some super cool shops...I remember coming with my family to see nacho libre at the AMC, lol! It’s so sad to see childhood building staples decline and turn into a shell of what it once was. This video made me feel kind of sad but very happy you preserved it through your video...thank you dan :)
Rochelle K. You and I both! It all started with his 1st documentary on Leakin Park in Baltimore with Rick. It was nuts, but then it just kept giving me all his videos. My personal fave??? Another Dirty Room, and I'm really going to miss Will. Love that guy!
Crow Migration on Dans twitter he said Will was leaving because he was going to go off and focus on his own work. There’s going to be someone new joining the crew. I forgot who’s going to be joining but I’ll try and find the tweet.
5:05 "These goddamned children playing ball in the mall" The best sentence I have ever heard. I will now go to as many malls as I can and look for kids playing ball, just so that I may utter those words. Loudly. I will need to remember to bring a ball with me so that I may give it to the kids if they don´t have one. My desire to use that sentence on a regular basis is that strong.
The thumbnail deeply startled me because this Florida mall's Dillard outdoor entrance looks exactly like one in Las Vegas where I used to live. The copy-pasta nature of American commercialism and chain franchises is haunting
This used to be the go to mall. Spend plenty of money there. Definitely got rough in the mid 2000s a lot of fights and stuff on Friday and Saturday nights. Police presence there. Then the recession hit and that area haven't been the same since.
love the slowed down music. adds to the atmosphere. oddly, it illustrates how I feel walking around one of these dying malls. This mall seems to be dying more than dead I feel.
I live less than a minute away from this place. I had so many good memories as a little girl eating the Auntie Annie's pretzels, getting family portraits done at Sears, playing in the indoor playground, riding on the carosuel, dragging my poor father to the Disney store and spending my 10th birthday at the bootleg Build A Bear that was there for about a year. It makes me sad to go and visit this place, it's nothing but a shell of it's former self before 2008. I'm glad you covered it :,)
shammy dammy it closed. It wasnt generating. The mall sucks bunch of kids that get dropped off because parents cant baby sit and dont have money. Its a gettho mall

Christie C I agree
Best TH-cam voice !!!!
That's part of what keeps me coming back, too.
He has a really nice voice lol
A broadcasters voice for sure
Our boi missing that _S B A R R O S L I C E ._
it looks just like TROTW mall from the sbarro video
it's a great day when dan bell uploads
Kyle2000 I fully agree!
It sure is!
YESSS
I live for this! Needs to happen more often.
mhm
Dan laughing at his own jokes always brings a smile to my face 😋
You know it's bad when the Bath and Body Works leaves
Amanda Zoe it’s still there lol
Especially when those cars are gone from the middle of the walk way saying sign up to win it
You know its bad when I tell you to shut the hell up
You literally comment about Bath and body Works in each of these videos don’t you LOL? 😂
Bath and Body works is still there. I was at West Oaks Mall about 2 weeks ago. I used to live in Ocoee too.
I work at a HomeGoods store that just recently went through a refurbishment this past fall, and now watching your videos I fully understand why such a thing is so important in today's businesses: If the store looks depressing and old, no one will shop there.
If it looks depressing, the aesthetic kids would go in them
For example kmart depresses me so i dont go there lol looks old yellowy

PurpleSwordfish I see it becoming a mixed use development with apartments, restaurants, retail and maybe offices.

The forgotten and abandoned hangouts of our teen years
Yup, it’s a Gen X wasteland. Gen X is the forgotten generation, and speaking as a member of that generation I’m ok with that. I wouldn’t trade my childhood for today’s. But yes, the nostalgia brought on by these vids is strong.
There is such a depressing element to it...like seeing a sad end to childhood or something 😂😂😂
I hear you. Some of my favorite memories from being a kid were packed toy stores. I'm not sure my daughter will ever get to see that now.
Or a cute beginning
I still go to this mall pretty frequently. The only thing keeping it alive is the AMC and JcPenny
@@jordanwilliams2780 and those two companies aren't doing great sadly.
@GamingTV
Yeah pretty much what happened. I went to this mall all the time as a kid. Now it's just depressing
"Dead Mall Girls" sounds like a great band name.
Please welcome to the stage "Dead Mall Girls".
Would fit a punk band perfectly.
I was like, someone must have picked up on that.
i grew up going to this mall and have been waiting for it to appear in the series. that carousel probably hasnt moved an inch in a long time lol. me and my sister would always argue over who got to ride the dragon. 😫 thanks dan for the nostalgia and the gentle reminder that my childhood is dead! love your work.
I am thoroughly into this vapormalll thing. There is something so calming about this.
It's a massive help when you need to calm down

One of the prettiest dead malls youve filmed.
Just Sheilz right so pretty
This mall is twenty minutes away from me... It used to jumping as recently as ten years ago...
Same
It’s very close to me, but we only ever use this place for amc anymore
Same

Oh no! I keep searching his videos for malls in the ATL area as that was my childhood (now live elsewhere). I got my ears pierced at Gwinnett Place. 😞
They filmed the stranger things season 3 mall scenes here
Love the slowed Zapp & Roger and Billy Ocean !
How the hell do I turn this video on, then it feels like immediately the video ends. Where did my 12 minutes of life go!?!? Dan Bell the destroyer of time with awesome videos!

5:00 "Come GROW Your Business With Us. Space Available." The only thing growing in these malls is mold.
😂😂😂 Sad but true!
Come GROW Your -Business- Mold And Other Disgusting Health Violations With Us. Space Available.
Don't forget regret, discontent, and dread.
Lack of ventilation and that Florida humidity, I can smell it already!
"Dead Mall Girls" sounds like the name of an emo band or something😂
annie mei I’m trademarking that lmao.
I think that was the idea, honey
Omg yes
That's the most beautiful food court I've ever seen! I love the murals over the food area and all the windows. The whole mall looks great, and brand new despite being 22 years old. If only it was in a better area.

soccerchick9841 i used to work in west oaks mall at jcpenney, and they hire just the right amount of people they need so everyone gets the hours they need or if its peak season like the holidays or summer when back to school shopping is big theyll hire more people since they have so much business but then let go anyone that they dont once the season is over

My friend works at the boba shop in this mall, it's pretty much only business from people going to see movies
well for this specific mall i know that the amc theater is pretty active, so after the movie they tend to eat at the food shops
Moonbeam Capital is planning something sinister! Malluminati!
Nerd City oh shit it’s you!
Nerd City best comment
Malluminati, LOL
Mallarmegedon?
There is no Malluminati... They aren't real, there is nothing to see here, it's a conspiracy theory... 😂😂😂

fifteen65 We all miss Borders
I seem to get the feeling the mall scene is over. Like on those 80s 90s sitcom where teenagers hung out.
Now teenagers AND college kids hang out at Starbucks.
weirdalfan1980 Nope, at least not in Winnipeg
th-cam.com/video/qekrGQ5ui_k/w-d-xo.html
Nah. Now all teens do is eat laundry detergent and snort contraceptives...
ya think?
The vapor wave aesthetic and editing in this series is top tier. Some of the best videos on the site.
Dan I like how drunk you were narrating this video.
chris kurland Drunk or high
Faizal F why not both.
I missed hearing that laugh. This is one of your best episodes yet. I look forward to all you have to come.
A N G E ?

A N G E !
Not anymore considering now they have recliners
This theatre is much cheaper than the amc in Altamonte Springs still.
@@verchettawells6893 Altamonte springs cost more cause it's Dolby and IMAX plus the location
@@CravingTheMagic I don't mind going to that location sometimes though. The price is worth it when I don't wanna go up 436 or 414 in the traffic lol.
@@verchettawells6893 I enjoy Disney springs theater
Those screeching doors are fitting symbolism for brick and mortar retail.
Friday nights are complete with a dan bell upload.
Yes!!! I was waiting for this
Tampa Jay fancy meeting you her sir haha
Waiting for a toys r us video
Michael Hoang give it about 5-7 years when it will be more of interest, like a throwback. Right now it’s too fresh. I still cant believe they’re closing smh
Welcome to the Now interestingly enough toysrus in Canada isn’t going anywhere (for now) i
Why wait? He (or jake don't remember) did Sears Canada
I believe he said it's in the works and should be out in May.
This episode is one of my all-time favorites. The Psychic Friends clip is classic.
There’s always the Mall at Millenia and Florida Mall, I guess.
Just too close to a bad area and every weekend attracted young people who would be rowdy and never buy anything. I used to work there and the place could just get ridiculous on friday night with kids causing trouble. Drove away a lot of the people who buy things and eventually stores followed.
I always preferred the huge malls like the Florida mall and the millennia. “Regular” Malls never have lush. 🤪🤦🏻♀️
I live in the Orlando area, and I used to go to this mall a lot as a child, sad to see this mall go
Yess I love your dead mall videos
never clicked so fast on a video before
Artzie Music Same here
Artzie Music yep!
i figured you'd be a dan bell fan lol
Nice to see you here Artzie.
same reaction i have when you post :)
Dan Bell!
Loving your dead mall series, especially the retro music overlays! And I enjoy your quirky sense of humour lol.
Best series on TH-cam
By the way, you guys are only (or would be if you posted it on instagram) the second people to ever post a #WOMSelfie , while the first was done in NOVEMBER OF 2014! That board is over 5 years old!
We never posted it. I thought it was so mean. I felt bad.
ah come on :D
This is Dan Bell. Post it! 🤣
Might as well post it. You don't think they don't know?
It's for a contest. Maybe you would win. Hehe
"The Dead Mall Girls" If they were a band, I'd totally see them.
@7:30 Billy Idol's "Eyes Without a Face" on Codeine.
Absolutely love the atmosphere of these dead malls. It's like they're almost frozen in a bygone time, but still stand open today. Dan Bell makes the best videos hands down. Everything from the cinematography, to the music and transitions, to even the general narration and history of these places is done to perfection. Keep up the great work Dan!
dan’s laugh is so damn contagious 😂
God it must be depressing to work at these places.
YES, THIS IS WHAT I SUBSCRIBED FOR. I MISS THESE VIDEOS.
Love the music. One of my fav songs the song that you’re playing as you enter the mall
Richard Eagle “I want to be your man” by Roger. It’s just slowed down in the video
"The Dead Mall Girls" needs to be a 80's style all female punk band lmfao.
And they need to be the models for the stock photos.
Seminole is not as dead as West Oaks or Oviedo, but it's leaning towards that direction.
I love vaporwave type music.
Dead Mall Girls is a cute name for a rock group
Get a copyright before it gets stolen lol!!!
Jesus those doors sound like the mall is moaning in agony. "KILLLLL MEEEEEEEEEE"
"Were looking at Dillard's in a very dullard mall" lol
Billy Idol AND Billy Ocean vaporwave!!! It’s a great day at the MALL!!! I missed this series so much! Great video Dan!!!
luvjxn also Zapp and Roger with I wanna be your man...
The Dead Mall Girls! Thats going to be my band name!
too late!
It’s been a hot minute since another dirty room... please 😩
Amy Sargent
Omg i know!!! I LOOOOOVE another dirty room! Im going to go re-watch the entire series now. Love those guys. 💕
Amy Sargent its on Prime now
It sucks because Will won't be in them anymore. It'll be another guy... Can't remember 1st name, but last name is Evangalista. Will will be missed....lol!
Why won't will be in it?????
Stephanie House where’s will 😔
The nostalgia of malls I will never get over. I wish they would never go away. I live in Minneapolis, so as many times as I have been to the Mall of America I never get tired of it. The 80s and 90s will never die for me
honestly this mall has more 'aesthetic' than all of tumblr.l
I'm a simple man. I see a Dan Bell upload, I click.
HairMetalBrony1016 same here
Simple man with simple memes
But why punk Rarity tho?
Drunk Not I Am Because Punk Rarity is awesome?
MomoTheBellyDancer Good for you, pal. :)
yay one of my favorite series on youtube is back
“These godahm children playing ball in the mall!” ~Dan Bell 2018
Shadow Wolfess
Too ball for the mall™
I laughed so hard when he said that. Lol
A N G E
I’ve seen your Dead Mall series in its entirety, and I always get sad seeing the malls as a ghost town. This is is my childhood mall. I remember when it opened, my first job was here, I remember when it started to decline. I’m so sad this made it to your series, but you filmed it beautifully. Thanks for documenting it!
Nothing like chilling and watching Dead Malls Series by Dan Bell 👌🏻
I'm so happy to see you uploading again! Thank you, Dan!
Excellent. Nice addition to the Dead Mall series. You had me Lmao. You crack yourself up laughing its so infectious. Good effect work.
I'm binge watching your road trip from last year. Cross country with Will. Good stuff
Slowed down Billy Ocean AND Billy Idol? Brilliant!!
Forever love Dan's editing. Never disappointed!
This series is the best!
Also, that playground is exactly the same as when I was kid. Nothing has changed except for the fact that everything slowly died around it.
Yassssss dan bell. This is the content we live for. No one does it like you!
I’ve binge watched your videos for weeks on end and I’m so glad you uploaded again.
Rochelle K. You and I both! It all started with his 1st documentary on Leakin Park in Baltimore with Rick. It was nuts, but then it just kept giving me all his videos. My personal fave??? Another Dirty Room, and I'm really going to miss Will. Love that guy!
Me too. I discovered this channel about 48 hours ago and already jonesing for another video (my fave 'character' is Sheriff Jim).
S A M E
Stephanie House what do you mean, is Will leaving?
Crow Migration on Dans twitter he said Will was leaving because he was going to go off and focus on his own work. There’s going to be someone new joining the crew. I forgot who’s going to be joining but I’ll try and find the tweet.
RIP: Tyler
A friend of Dan's that this video was dedicated to. Cancer
This channel introduced me to vaporwave. Thank you
Me too.
I too can thank Dan Bell for this! love it!
Me too. Vaporwave is like concentrated musical nostalgia, I can't get over how trippy/amazing it is.
Hey I have, erm, had a philosophy paper to write... but ehh Dan Bell... papers shall wait!
Drowns In Kool Aid
Dan Bell is the greatest philosophy, anyway.
Been waiting for another episode love dan bell and this series 😜
love the slowed down music. adds to the atmosphere. oddly, it illustrates how I feel walking around one of these dying malls. This mall seems to be dying more than dead I feel.
4:24 i know those doors! that used to be a HOT TOPIC! also their used to be a payless at 6:14.
Missed your dead mall videos so much! Please keep them coming!
that intro
T-Bone Yes! I came here to say the exact same thing. Especially the interlude after the PFN piece.
ghoststogether.bandcamp.com/track/party-all-the-time
Hi T!
2 mins of filler.
The best series ever anywhere! I tell everyone about your videos!
Nice to see you here Sir!
WTF you're done here. Nice tiny Mazda btw
Tom's Turbo Garage appart from the thunderbolt series :)
I'm glad you covered it :,)
When SunPass is a main anchor of the mall. 💀🧟♂️
No pizza? Wow.
shammy dammy it closed. It wasnt generating. The mall sucks bunch of kids that get dropped off because parents cant baby sit and dont have money. Its a gettho mall
