He was on a talk show with the topic of discussing mosh pits and the “angry kids” stuff (can’t remember the show) and omg he was so beautiful and he’s such a intelligent and well spoken man and like y’all said, people judge and don’t listen. 🤘🏼💜✌🏼
I love it! If I saw this guy on the street, I would not think for a moment that he even knew Manson's name, let alone the fact that he can sing along to it. I can't say that I've ever imagined someone in a button up shirt listening to Manson. It's always amazing to me how music crosses all genres of people and has the ability to bring us together no matter our backgrounds, professions, identities, or whatever other reasons people give to be divided. Also, if you haven't yet, you should check out "Running to the Edge of the World" by Manson...really powerful and emotional song.
Why is it so shocking that the man knows Manson’s music? Those of us “old folks” are the original “Manson Family.” You gotta remember that Manson first exploded onto the scene back in the 90s and us older people were in our teens and young adult years. We were the ones who first experienced Manson and grew up alongside him. That was decades ago. Not many of us still dress/look the same as we did back then. Doesn’t mean we still can’t scream out the lyrics to Little Horn. Besides, it’s kind of fun having this alter self hidden away and only letting little bits of it out now and then. I still remember the concerned look my wife (country girl) gave me when one evening we were laying in bed and I put on Dope Hat and proceeded to sing along. 😂
Your wife is very decently open-minded once you start explaining what Marilyn Manson is from this video to the other video of beautiful people she should watch a live version of one of his songs played she'll truly see how much of a rocker is

All my friends growing up liked Marilyn Manson but I didn't, until I heard Coma White. I don't know why, but this song has always been my favorite by him.

His exploration with self-sexuality, amputee pornography, journalism, his depraved grandfather, self harm, his Christian School upbringing.. with this video, one of Brian's first introduction to the world was the JFK assassination. They may not be exact examples from his life but Beautiful People, Tourniquet, Lunchbox, Dope Hat, it is all very topical of his own life.
Extremely powerful, this song should be able to touch literally everyone in one way or another. Being who he is & taking a moment in history & building off that & shedding light in it, also from a females standpoint but truth be told literally anyone n everyone can relate to these lyrics, might have been depressants in this situation but truth be told if you haven't be found yourself n happiness than there's something in your life acting out the role of the drugs/pills/anti depressant

She said in her book, Brave, that it's about her; the drugs and everything, it is clearly about a person as Manson uses 'she' throughout the song. Also in relation to this, she said the reason she left Manson was because of the amount of cocaine she took, therefore breaking off their engagement. So they never married.

I kind of feel like captain clock live at resurrection fest is a better start for jinjer, just cos no-one believes it's real on pisces. Too much of a shock. I think this song is about how a woman who suffers from mental issues and how she relies on prescription drugs to help her but how the drugs only numb her and make her more like a zombie that's why he says all the drugs in this world can't save her from herself also he says they'll make you dumb they'll make you numb because that's what the drugs can do with their side effects they alter your way of thinking and make you into a zombie.

Manson is a fantastic artist but in order to truly appreciate his body of work you have to get past his shock value. Unfortunately, Manson is not the greatest artist to ease into, so I choose his commerical or "gateway" songs for my wife's reactions seeing as this is how I was introduced to Manson. But let me also remind you that she is a non metal listener so I can't just throw her to the wolves as she would be highly turned off. Check out her first reaction to Manson to long hard road outta hell. I think we are making progress.
