I dont know if you will see this or not, as most comments are a year old. Im wondering if you have a stitch count idea if i would use a 3 weight yarn? Ive been gifted quite a bit & think it would make pretty doll clothes. Also, the completed samples you show at the beginning look like the yarn is not as thick as the peach you are using. I do not use a message tape. My dresses are made for an 18" doll and a 14" doll.

Most of the dresses are using 4 weight yarn. But if you use a hook size up, it may work.
