- Yes, this Ingersoll Rand compressor is probably out of most of our price ranges for our shop, but wow, is it quiet! This air compressor would not even be noticed running in our shop and better yet, it could allow up to 15 people to work from it at one time. This technology should be made smaller for the consumer market!

Amazing!! We're Soo fortunate to live in this age of incredible tools I could have only dreamed about only 15 or 20yrs ago.
And yes Its only time before this gets smaller and cheaper

I have a home hobby shop with a 5x10 CNC plasma table and other air tools. I bought a IR Rotary screw compressor with the TAS to remove the water. It was $6,800.00 I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this compressor! It is SLEEP NEXT TO IT quiet! I can cut all night long with my shop door open and my neighbors cannot even HEAR the compressor kicking on and off, or running while I cut! They used to tell me that I needed to stop cutting at night, because my two-stage piston compressor would wake them up by the NOISE! This, and my forklift are the two BEST shop tools I have ever purchased!
Need a $15000 compressor? IR has your solution
We used to have to wear ear muffs in or machine room before we got our IR rotary compressor!

d hamby Money can buy you happiness... At least in this case you would be happy for a short period with a quiet compressor. Lol
I bought an Ingersol rand rotary compressor mostly because with our regular compressor all the way in the back of the separated warehouse we could not hear phone calls. Enter our IR screw compressor....now I can talk right next to the thing and our laboratory has plenty of air on demand and I haven't had an issue in five years. It was well worth the money in our case

I just bought a Chicago Pneumatic QRS10 with 8000hrs for Les than 2000$. I feel like I stole it but I have my dream compressor.
If only my boss didn't buy old compressors, I'd tell him to get this one.

7.5hp is about 30 cfm. Each impact wrench uses about 5 cfm average, so 6 tech using at once not 15
they won't all be impacting continuously

IR is not the only company that offer low sound compressors. There’s plenty of other brands. What they don’t tell you is their rotary screw oil is $145.00 a gallon.

Lol...they definitely are not for everyone. A small one like the one I the video though would be affordable to operate for any business.
