@Darkfarfetch yep. A tiny swing out between the phillips and large flat.
I find it’s best to use a mini key ring there like the ones on the mini Swiss Army knives, then an inch or three loop of paracord as a soft shackle for whatever you’re doing with it.

I ALWAYS put a loop of paracord to these and/or similar tools, before you're going outdoors hiking / camping, hunting etc. Makes those much less easy to get lost in the outdoors. It's a MUST use while fishing or diving. Suggest to burn the cord's end when the adequate knot is done. A couple droplets of crazy glue on the knot itself won't hurt either. Please, remember to clean it up w/ fresh water + soap, flush it, then dry it and protect with a protective product. From WD40, CLP, Ballistol, Kroil. Even automotive ATF + 10% silicone oil works. Given proper TLC + protective oil will allow your tool last for decades.

It always amazes me how few people seem to know that cameras (regardless of whether they're mounted inside a telephone or not) should be held horizontally when recording movies.
Almost as amazing as the fact that there are people who need to watch a vertical movie to discover basic instructions that are printed on their multitool's box, in the manual and on the manufacturer's website.

I actually saw one guy doing a review of the Signal, and didn't realise he could remove the ferrous rod first, and ended breaking the rod in two and hacking the Leatherman handle down to the bare metal ( and still couldn't start a fire ). It amazes me how many reviews on Leatherman multitools are made by people who don't really have a clue about the tool itself and write off anything they can't understand as a manufacturing defect or bad quality.

The LM OHT (One Hand Tool) is also better single handed, great when working ladder, roof, tree. But not relevant to this thread, as it DOESN'T have a hidden lanyard loop - it does have a hole next to a pin that I used for such, though it is awkward using a blade with a wrist loop so close (and it would suck if it was near the pliers end)

Most do not look at the papers they get when buying, there are plenty of accessories that most do not know about because they do not look at all the options and how they are used.

Found it. Problem is it makes the tension in the spring for the rest of that tool group weaker, they rattle and move a bit. Still useful, Thanx!

You can use the flat bit to deploy the lanyard-ring

And on the Supertool 300 they were like "why are we hiding it? just add it right next to the file"

Great to know, thanks. I never did trust the detachable one any way and I really like the pocket clip. This now creates options for ways to carry.

What is the best way to get a leatherman fixed without a receipt due to it being a gift. I have 2 that are broken. 1 is the skeletool CX & a wave+ that's personalized. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I always knew I had one on my Sidekick, but I always prefer to connect the fabric holder to my belt.

After Leatherman declined a repair after I used it to mount a door, I switched to Gerber and never looked back. 😊

I use the detachable larnyard loop on my Charge+. I like to keep mine on my keyring and the ability to quickly remove it works great for me.

The lanyard ring blocks the two tools next to it if you use paracord it'll block it just about any other type of cordage that is worth using as a lanyard

I used to have an SOG. Bet pocket tool ever. It had gear reduction jaws. Twice the force, no play, misalignment or hysteresis in operation. Someone stole it.

i am not trying to "play smart" but i though it is obvious ,when i inspect my TTi i see something there , pulled it out and there was it. You just have to know one thing , it's all about the money/time , nobody buildings nothing by mistake ,just look for things
