havent even watched the full video yet and i can already tell this is gonna be a banger, love that you put a non experienced barber to the test, it really gives us new and upcoming barbers an insight of what itll be like when we start and cut our first client. I can most definitely say cutting hair is easier said then done, but great job to both of you, great vid as always!

That’s a good cut for his first time and your teaching really well explained along the way.
I do maintenance and what really helped me was already knowing what a 1” and 1/2” guideline should look like so math and reading a tape measure gives you a little help😂😂 but it’s way more to it then just that 🤣🤣

Also, I truly find this texture of hair the hardest to cut. It's prone to showing up lines any time you change a guard, and this blonde-ish fine texture of hair is really hard to fade in my experience. I actually think it's way harder than that thick Mexican hair people always keep talking about.
Yeah his hair is bad everytime they get it cut. His wife said it was better than his last few!

I have started to cut my own hair so my brother and I want to cut other people's hair in the near future, if people have long hair on the sides should I shave up once with the 13mm guard and then do the fade or what is the best way to do it?
That will work but I wouldn’t say to always do that
