    Hey thanks for the Vid i am setting up the same system and cant seem to figure out how to get the CNC connector for 82I apart so i can solder the leads and i dont want to force anything and break it ?

    • @BecksArmory
      @BecksArmory  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it's threaded. Its strain relief it ratcheted if I remember correctly so if somebody already made it tight you'll have to twist really hard. counterclockwise will make it come apart.

    How did you even solder those through that tight opening! I’ve been stuck on this for a week with my 82i and cannot find any answers on a how to

      The piece comes apart, the CNC piece. It unscrews if you twist it hard enough at the connectors. I just figured that out so now trying to figure out the right wires.

    Hello Mr. beck
    Hope you are still active on here I got a quick one for you.
    I have the crossfire pro with the everlast 82i cnc machine torch system. (Sam’s cutter as you)
    I opted to NOT purchase langmuirs THC Add on.
    Should I just Soder pins on 1 &2 or should I go to 5 & 7. I called everlast they don’t like giving info anything unrelated to operating the machine. Figured I would try here before Langmuir.
    Thank you

      If you don't have the THC you only need a trigger hook up.

      It's hard to tell because I'm constantly changing sizes. I then put used sets back in. I always make sure I swap them as sets (both electrode and nozzle always stay together) So if I remove the 1.3mm nozzle, and put at 0.9mm nozzle on I also remove the electrode and keep them together as sets.

    Excuse the dumb question…. But where is the trigger wire(pin1-2) coming from? Is it coming from the main control panel… or the VIM box… thank you.

    • @BecksArmory

    Have you seen this th-cam.com/video/FzhiGONOqBY/w-d-xo.html
    Seems people have had issue with the raw voltage connections going through the cnc port.
    But like in your video, if you are getting the exact same voltage at the cnc port as you are connected to the pigtails you made at the torch lead, then maybe it's not necessary. Or maybe Everlast made changes to their cutters to solve the issue.

    • @BecksArmory
      @BecksArmory  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, mine was the same at the lugs and the pins so I'm pretty sure they have updated the board at the factory. When I first got it there was way more talk about this then now. There might still be some of these in the system, but if you buy new now you're prolly in the clear.

    Why did you hook up the trigger when you have a machine Torch and a CNC Cutter?

    • @BecksArmory
      @BecksArmory  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hooked the CNC trigger output to the plasma cutter trigger input. This way the CNC controller can fire the plasma cutter when it needs to.

    nice video, do you move the pins in the machine or torch end, I just purchased the same setup, also do you know if you can use the cnc torch has a handheld Incase you want to cut something and not use the cnc table, your help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

    • @BecksArmory
      @BecksArmory  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can use a hand torch. before I got the everlast I was using a hand torch on my cnc table. hooking this up will not disable your hand torch if you have one of those hooked up instead of a machine torch. The cutter can be triggered by both triggers. It's not a one or the other type of thing. :)
