I was a lifequard at Bass Lake Park from 77 to 79. It was on the right at the 10 minute mark. Family had a cabin at Leisure Lake where I lived during the summer months. Met a lot of very fine people in those times and I had a lot of girl friends back then too! Miss seeing The Mills Family the most.

I WAS ENJOYING THE TOUR TILL ABOUT 7 THEN IT STOPPED AGAIN. I DON'T KNOW WHY I CAN'T GET IT TO GO ON. THIS IS SURE SOME PRETTY COUNTRY SORTA LIKE WHERE I LIVE. A LOT OF HILLS AND CURVES. U HAD BETTER BE AWAKE WHEN YOU DRIVE ON THAT ROAD.
VERY GOOD VIDEO AND SOME TIME I WILL GET TO WATCH IT ALL HOPEFULLY.

I really enjoyed this, right at 7.36 there is a road on the left that goes up and is real steep. As you get to the top there is a memorable curve that is real dangerous if the driver is not paying attention. I have an Aunt and several cousins that live about 2 miles up that road. When my mother was alive and she would visit her sister, mom would get out of the car most of the time and walk to keep from riding around that curve. Thanks for the video as it brings back memories.

What a beautiful scenic two lane route. The dense forest looks so bucolic and so peaceful. The road itself is wonderful, smooth, well maintained and nicely striped. Who needs those noisy pesky interstates when you have wonderful two lane roads going through quiet green forests and up and down hills.

Thank's Jeffery love the scenery there. I fish there in the spring and fall when I can, most of the time sandstone falls. Then late evening eat at the DQ and set out on the overlook viewing New River. So peaceful and relaxing. Disabled now and I would love to find me a place where I can pull up close to the river and fish off of my tailgate. Let me no if you no of any place.
