Couple things about this upload! 1 - I tried uploading in 4k. No the game or footage is not in 4k, but youtube is really making the 1080p look like garbage. 2 - You may notice in the middle my voice gets a little more wonky sounding. Well... there was a lot of background noise I had to filter, but it should hopefully still sound alright. Bonus Thing - I'm in a hurricane at the time of listing this (Well not really, it's been downgraded to a Tropical Storm.) While you're praying to the gods of animetiddy today in hopes things will return to normal, utter a word for my safety too so I can live to gaze upon their glorious return someday!

Ay, this was actually a game I bought at the same time you did. Yeah this game was too easy for me, I even just sat in shoot mode letting the jet auto drive while checking my phone and I still won. Really appreciate the reviews on niche games tho, you're the main reason I know about these titles in the first place!

the 50 time usage of special move trophy is also on Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash, that trophy is actually fairly easy to unlock, it's just that it's a very boring time consuming grind. any game's trophies in my opinion is easily manageable, as long as there's no freaking online trophy.
@@TarksGauntlet though in Senran Kagura PBS,L the trophy description stated you need to use it on a CPU controlled playable character or on another player online in PVP as it won't count on these generic enemies. one mission in particular made this trophy a breeze where one of the girls in Homura's Crimson Squad ( forgot her name ) the girl with the green hair got affected by the heat of the sun and lost her mind for a while and her teammates try to runs after her to cool her down with the water guns you can just spam the super move on her teammates while they coming after her in groups. pretty sure there's a mode in Jet Girls where you can takes on multiple of the competitive girls in one race ? not sure since I haven't played this Jet Girls game yet, I would like to but the darn game is a bit expensive at the moment.
Well in Jet Girls you could probably do it within 25 races if you just keep stopping to let the other racers catch up with you once you have your EPD meter fully charged. But that's like 2 hours of play time I'm just not interested in going through for a trophy I just don't care about, especially not when the games terrible balance has made the trophy a grind haha.

I am confused as to why these anime girl game devs are so attached to Sony, when its clear Sony doesn't want them. Why don't they just start releasing on Switch? Ah, they reused the weapon models from PBS, smart asset recycling. But Lord is the screen tearing unbearable, I remember it being an absolute eyesore when checking out footage of Killer Is Dead way back when. And isn't the game's problem technically a *_lack_* of rubber-banding? Because, from what I understand, once you get ahead the competition just sticks to their positions and behave like they're on rails or something.
They try... It's just an awful attempt. There's weapons that behave like the blue shell in Mario Kart but in my whole playthrough I was maybe hit by it twice. I actually outran it most of the other times. It couldn't catch up by the time I finished the race... So why I say the rubber banding is a problem I don't mean there's too much of it, but not enough. The screen tearing is awful too, but It wasn't until editing I noticed how bad it was during races in some stages. Always noticed it more during more passive things.
The remake of Senran Kagura burst "Burst re;newal," I guess, but before that peach beach splash. Their record the last few years has fallen below 50/50.

They do a bit, but I don't mind too much. They can be easily skipped, and think maybe even disabled altogether. Once you see one of them you've seen them all.

I don’t agree with this perceived “Senran Kagura’s quality has been going down” fallacy. The mechanics and fun factor have been improving with each title. PBS is the best side game, and Burst Renewal is extremely well-polished (I just wish it had multiplayer). Now Kandakawa Jet Girls, looks easy, boring, and misses the mark aesthetically.
Burst re:newal and PBS are both great. I never said those games were bad. Likely have tamsoft to thank for the success of both of those though. The poor streak of games I referenced is made up of the spinoffs mostly. Senran Kagura Reflexions Senran Kagura Peach Ball And now this game, kandagawa jet girls. PBS was the last good, new game (not a remake) that honey parade released, and that was over 3 years ago now.

My guess is that development is on hold until the olympics pass and japan hopefully goes back to normal. If however, the state of things in japan becomes the new normal... that game might never see the light of day.
In actuality, a small fishing village on the coastline of Canada... So that kind of makes some sense lol. But I mean, that mostly just happens because of how I enunciate as an orator. In normal conversation it's probably not so pronounced.
I tried the game via PC on Steam and never finished it; I returned it not too long afterward. It feels like it was half-finished and rushed to meet the anime's deadline even though the anime (which I heard is mediocre but surprisingly had Katushiko Nishijima as a storyboard artist) had already concluded. Besides of having no sense of speed (I've had more sense of racing speed driving my car to work and back) you try free play mode, forget it, the AI is way too tough and unforgiving there, the difficulty is horrifically unbalanced. Even if there was fanservice it would still suck, the main part of the game, the racing, is too broken to be fun, and it's just shallow and empty. Not to mention the game's Steam description that you can "blow your opponents back onto dry land!" is a complete LIE. Frankly, if it was more of a collection of other summer competitive stuff to do (swimming, beach volleyball, water polo, surfing, the works) besides the whole jetskiing thing, being similar in vein to Mario Party, it would have been better, or if they did a crossover with Senran Kagura since they included they included Ryōna and Ryōbi with the game's DLC.
I think the game you described in paragraph 2 was basically Dead Or Alive Xtreme beach volleyball. Sadly that series has collapsed on itself in terms of quality too. The 3rd one just wasn't it.
I don't know what the biggest shame is; that this game isn't good? Or to learn that Canada uses mph too... I thought that was mainly just the USA. Boo.
It should be pretty obvious what takaki's only available option is. Abandon the restrictive Sony, who holds back his creative vision and move to the switch and PC. The question is: was this game funded by Sony to be a PS4 exclusive or is this just another case of Japanese studios stuck in their ways and refusing to move away from abusive papa Sony.
I don't think Sony had any executive producer role in the game. It launched on PC simultaneously, and iirc, part of the forming of the HoneyParade studio was to give Takaki more control over his games and what platforms they end up on.
I'm still waiting on Sen7 to resume development but who knows how that's going. At least Marvelous has stated they haven't cancelled their port of Uppers (Yet.) PS. As a single player game, Jet girls isn't much unless you just wanna check it out. But for Time Attack and Online play it's super fun and plays as it was intended.

Besides of having no sense of speed (I've had more sense of racing speed driving my car to work and back) you try free play mode, forget it, the AI is way too tough and unforgiving there, the difficulty is horrifically unbalanced. Even if there was fanservice it would still suck, the main part of the game, the racing, is too broken to be fun, and it's just shallow and empty.
Not to mention the game's Steam description that you can "blow your opponents back onto dry land!" is a complete LIE. Frankly, if it was more of a collection of other summer competitive stuff to do (swimming, beach volleyball, water polo, surfing, the works) besides the whole jetskiing thing, being similar in vein to Mario Party, it would have been better, or if they did a crossover with Senran Kagura since they included they included Ryōna and Ryōbi with the game's DLC.
I think the game you described in paragraph 2 was basically Dead Or Alive Xtreme beach volleyball.
Sadly that series has collapsed on itself in terms of quality too. The 3rd one just wasn't it.

It should be pretty obvious what takaki's only available option is. Abandon the restrictive Sony, who holds back his creative vision and move to the switch and PC. The question is: was this game funded by Sony to be a PS4 exclusive or is this just another case of Japanese studios stuck in their ways and refusing to move away from abusive papa Sony.
I don't think Sony had any executive producer role in the game. It launched on PC simultaneously, and iirc, part of the forming of the HoneyParade studio was to give Takaki more control over his games and what platforms they end up on.

runs like trash on ps4, they didn't even upgrade it for ps5 so ur still locked at 25-30 frames. no difficulty slider on campaign. a total fail imo

I'm still waiting on Sen7 to resume development but who knows how that's going.
At least Marvelous has stated they haven't cancelled their port of Uppers (Yet.)

As a single player game, Jet girls isn't much unless you just wanna check it out. But for Time Attack and Online play it's super fun and plays as it was intended.
