    little tip for peace of mind on the sinks, fill up the sink and drain it a few times to put the P trap under stress to you know it wont leak later.

    Ryno!! I’m a plumber out of Massachusetts and just wanted to share a quick few tips. Those shark bite fittings always turn like that. And the leak you had in your p trap is very common. I personally put a little pipe dope (pipe thread sealant/lubrication on the union part of the trap when I install and they never leak after that. Love the videos! Keep ‘em comin

    Im a certified plumber. I will absolutely only ever use shark bites in a pinch till I can get back to fix the problem permanently. The trick to compression angle stops is to use some lubricant on the ferules. And yes shark bites will turn freely, it's normal. One think you should do when using shark bites is to file the end of the copper pipe a little . Copper cutters will bevel the edge making it a little larger. It helps to not wreck the gasket when installing the shark bite.

    Used Sharkbites about 5 years ago, still holding. Like you, couldn’t believe “spinning” fittings would work, but they did

    Nice work Ryno Do your self a favor and get a small back splash for that vanity and silicone that to the top and the wall so you don't have a person staying there that runs water all down the wall behind the vanity everyday making water damage and mold in the drywall

  • @bobbyrosa4652
    @bobbyrosa4652 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey this is what I found on that brake controller; According to my contact at Tekonsha the Sentinel is an older brake controller and the lighting configuration that you have stated seems to be normal.
    If the green light is flashing at approximately an 8 second interval, it is a diagnostic light that is showing that the trailer is connected and the system is operating. If the red light is illuminated that indicates that there is current to the trailer. If the green light is a solid green light then it is indicating that braking has begun.
    However, if the green light is quickly flashing at an interval approximately 3 times per second it indicates that there is an issue such as a short or excessive current on the system or low battery on the tow vehicle.
    I hope that helps.

    Such a rookie builder. You should use shag carpet in the bathroom. Shag carpet will absoard any water spills in the bathroom. If you miss the toilet while peeing it will all absorb the pee and eliminate unnecessary cleaning .

    A better test for the p trap and plumbing under the sink is fill the sink full and let it drain. It puts more pressure on the fittings which will show a leak that might not show with low volume of water.

    Beautiful. I’m surprised the guys didn’t do angled edges to combine pieces in the living room. Instead of seeing a straight line down looking in. I usually combine 45 and you won’t see like after caulking. Maybe you might if done that since your into detail. But beautiful overall. I paint everything grey and white hahaha. New neutral color

    Hey brother you should also install the cabinet before you install the angle stops that way you're only cutting a small little hole for the pipe then you can put those little collars on and then the angle stops and it'll save you having to cut a bigger hole to fit the angle stops.

    Omg LOL that guy that said rounded corners are a luxury where he's at, It is here too, I painted a $7,000,000 mansion by the lake and their walls edges were rounded as well and the owner told me he paid the extra to have it done, Also, I know Ryno is right too because I was born and raised in Cali where smooth walls and sharp edges is luxury... weird how that works lol

    Did a little plumbing in the past and only recently came across that shark bite style fitting to fix a leaking pipe in my parents house. It’s very unnatural to anyone who has used the traditional fittings. I was surprised that it didn’t leak. Seems I’m not alone. Always appreciate the content. Thank you

    The shark bites were done properly. The only thing I would have done differently is take the plastic inserts out of the valves. The inserts are for pex, they aren’t needed for copper or cpvc. And yes after installed they will spin and feel loose.

    Never run a floating floor under cabinets. It’s supposed to float. If you have issues the flooring manufacturer won’t cover it under warranty because that reason. Also supposed to be a .25 inch gap around all walls.

    One big advantage to having quarter round corners on the walls and piecing in the angles on the base molding is that you are less likely to break a toe when you hit one with your foot...

    When do you think we'll see more of the single cab OBS ranch truck build and the 6.0?

  • @twiztedclown
    @twiztedclown 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    The sharkbites should not blow off if the building is still under regulator pressure. They in general practice will split and leak before they will blow off if the pipe is cleaned and properly roughed enough for the sharkbite to attach to.

  • @Dolumdidu
    @Dolumdidu 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Need to get the 6.0 fixed up buddy, it'll tow all your stuff you need without overheating. Just studd it and get a livewire tuner. Nice to see a trick to setting up water lines thanks for that. Hope the rest goes well man.

  • @tylermilanese1894
    @tylermilanese1894 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm not a plumber I do hvac but have done alot of angle stops in my life being I own rental property. normally with copper u take the white plastic piece out of the angle stop and throw them away there only used with PEX, second the seal is a o-ring and u really are suppose to reem the inside and outside of the copper on the stub outs before u push on the shark-bite fittings.

    • @tylermilanese1894
      @tylermilanese1894 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Another thing is they do make shark-bite fitting that are only for PEX so always make sure u grab the right ones that say copper,pex,pvc and cpvc. And pvc is not acceptable for potable water pipping.
