Ah now I see what's happening. The girl who threw the rock through the window, accidentally killed the baby. The second guy who went upstairs searching for the rock, probably saw the rock inside the cradle and the baby dead. In fact, there was indeed a family living there and not that old lady they thought of. In the end, he just decided to get a doll from the baby's room and show it to his friends instead of revealing the horrid truth.

That doesn't make sense. Who would leave a baby in the crib all by herself?

The tension wrapped tight - small acts of the individuals, reveal both their weaknesses and their differing attitudes to responsibility. 👏🏻👏🏻

I will say that those people took a LONG time to stand behind someone house's window they just busted arguing for me! They could have made it just a tad more realistic then what was shown.

Atleast now he knows that he can't trust any of those people. Cowards.

I think there was a baby in the crib. The blood curdling scream at the end, and the sound of someone being held under the water. I think the guy who grabbed the doll, did see a baby, or something? I just wish they showed us more, as the viewer’s. I think he possibly grabbed the doll to distract them all.
But I also think? Who would leave a baby home alone? And Charlotte could have been anyone, really?
That’s what I think. Though, the title is a little misleading, and even though the acting was ok. I still have no idea wtf I just watched.
Make’s it harder when I have to stop start, rewind ⏪ rewatch, because they talk so damn fast🤦🏻‍♀️😩
I think they’re all a pack of gutless wonders.
You’re how old? Yet still throwing rocks through someone’s home window?
I was actually pissed when they all laughed when he threw the doll on the ground.
The smirk’s really got to me.

Well it was a loud sound then a thunk like someone fell. Definitely not a baby home alone...almost sounded like a bark not a baby. So I think Charlotte was a dog. Nope, I guess no dog because the door was open a little. If a dog went through it would have been opened up farther.

They left a baby in the crib all alone in the house? That doesn't make sense.

I wonder if the is trying to make us focus on the crib and rather or not it was a real baby but I am still thinking about the group and how they strongly asked the black girl to call her mom to tell her that *"she's been in a serious car accident"* and also wtf are they playing around and getting seriously wasted? The 3, and excuse me for saying this but the 3 white teens all were showing a bunch of panicking and nerves in period of the video then toward the end we don't see the black girl and the 3 seem suspicious. The dark hair goes ahead and say he's going to do a game and the other to sit nervous before sharing a kiss as if it was to calm the guy's nerves since how he seemed the most nervous out of the 3 then suddenly we hear the guy ahead of them "whistle" and not a "ohh you guys are kissing!" kind of whistle, it sounded more like some kind of green light signal. The girl then says the need to hurry and not let the other guy get ahead of them before we hear a blood curdling scream from a girl. It didn't sound like a fun scream, it sounded like a "wtf is going on, let me go!" kind of scream. I think the crib and baby doll is just a distraction to makes us feel like we are cracking the truth when in reality we aren't anywhere close. Stuff with the baby theory did not make sense or add up. Why would a baby be home alone? The person who came home also sounded surprised as if he didn't exspect anyone to be home so who would be watching the baby? Think about it. This is just my theory.

Maybe it’s a cultural thing (I’m American, this film is Norwegian), but I didn’t understand the point of this film. If the baby after all wasn’t real and was just a doll, I don’t get what the purpose of anything was. Great cinematography and acting can’t save a film if the story is pointless and makes no sense.

I think the baby was real, bcz there was a man calling "Charlotte", which I assume it's the baby's name,
And in the end of the movie, the man who took the doll look like he regreted something, I assume he regreted that he had lied to his friends by told them the baby was not real which is just a doll, but the fact the baby was real & dead.

I think the idea is that at the end the audience is meant to question whether it _really was_ just a doll in the crib, or if the guy just took a doll from the room to spare his friends the horror or what they'd done.

Possibly the issue is in expecting their to be one clear and well-defined point to it. I think there's a lot going on through out, but a lot of it is beneath the surface. They are young, and daring and having fun, enjoying one another, but also clashing with one another, and they have their fears. They are at crossroads and don't know how life is going to turn out for them, they talk about it but it's all uncertain. As with the main event of the film - was a baby killed or not? Did things work out well with a silly prank, or was this a tragedy? The rock is thrown and once it leaves your hand you don't know what is going to happen. The control you talk about is illusion.
But someone else could see other things in the film, and that's fine too. And I'm not saying story isn't important, I thing storylines are hugely important. I suppose I just liked this one.
