I have soft summer skin but soft autumn eyes... my hair is distinctly summer toned in the winter, but when I go in the sun a lot, it gets more golden. I guess I am right in between xD
Same! I probably lean more warm, but I have quite pale, neutral skin in the winter and I find I can pull off some soft summer colours and silver. But in the summer I tan and the golden in my hair comes out.
I'm actually ash auburn my father was "dishwater blonde" and mother is full redhead and when born i didn't get my curls in until almost a month old and they were dark ashy blonde but by 5 years old i was auburn and even being a type of redhead auburn is cool undertone and my central heterochromia eyes are gray inner and olive outer and skin is absolutely cool undertone. So everything about me is cool/muted so even though never been professionally draped i self identify as soft summer
Same here i think it had to do with the skin tone anything orange even when muted looks way off on me and anything super light limit pastel do the same
So I have soft summer skin and hair, but soft autumn eyes. so does that mean I'm both or a hybrid of the two palettes? olive greens and browns look great with my eyes, and blues do not look good on me. but yet the pink look better on me than oranges. Neutral skin, ashy hair, green eyes. and i wear silver over gold jewelry.
Same here! I have green eyes with a touch of brown (hazel), more on a soft autumn palette but my skin is fair with purple veins around my eyes and ashy natural hair. So I’m still puzzled. All I know is that I look good in army green, beige and grey. In summer when I’m tanned, I like to make them a bit warm, and in winter, when I’m blue like a Smurf, I like to make the hair a bit more beige.
i loved the video but i'm so confused as to my personal features like. honey blond golden coppery hair, cool blue grey hue eyes eyes with a warm golden ring around the center and my skin color is pale, light freckles with blue veins... ??? i feel like i fall in the middle and idk how to figure out where i lean... how do you determine if you have opposing warmth and coolness?
I am in the exact same boat as you, the same features too, even down to the golden eye ring and I've been struggling so much 😭I tried a website called colorwise that can determine your season based on pictures you upload. I took a picture of myself on two separate days in the same location and at the same time of day and analyzed both of them on the site... one picture came back as soft summer, the other soft autumn - so frustrating! If you figure out a way to determine it for certain please let me know how you did it, cause you are not the only one struggling haha
I fall in between too. Neutral skintone, hair quite ashy but with some golden highlights and eyes like cool/neutral green but with warm goldenbrown closest to the pupil. The soft autumn colors feels too warm for me and the soft summers too cool 😅 So I guess muted neutral colors it is!
My hair is ashy but my eyes are more like the soft autumn. Idk I know the pinks on the soft autumn don’t work for me, but I can get away with the greens and blues from that pallet.
I am confused I have a neutral skin tone, green eyes and medium ash brown hair. A stylist I was using said that I am a soft autumn but my hair is ash, i have no warmth in my hair?
your hair doesnt matter. the most important thing is your skin, that's why professional color analysists always cover your hair, when figuring out your season. I'm a soft autumn as well and have completely grey eyes which always made me think i just HAVE to be soft summer, but my skin is so clearly warm and all the important soft autumn colors olive green, petrol and muted mustard yellow are my best colors. Reality isnt as strict as the color system I guess.
I have the exact same coloring you described and I was also professionally typed as a soft autumn. I almost had trouble believing it at first because I had convinced myself I was soft summer but then I remembered that when I wear makeup I have to go slightly warm, and then it all made sense. Cool makeup makes me look a little sallow. I can definitely borrow from the soft summer palette with clothes though. They look just as good to me. I wonder if you're the same in that regard.
You said ashy and greyish which immediately makes me think cool. Your eyes and your hair don't always match your undertone though, but the best way to find out is to do an in person color analysis, you can even do it on yourself 💚
So my hair comes in as a ash but the ends of my hair is more of a strawberry blonde. I have a mix of green, blue, and purple veins, there is a mix so I’m confused. My eyes before having babies was a bright blue and now they are a grey blue and I do see some warmth in them but not a lot. I can’t use warm foundation and I can’t wear cool foundations. The only way I can use the warm foundation in the lightest shade is by mixing green into foundation. I’ve since declutterred all my warm foundations and now only buy neutral foundations which tend to work the best for me. I thought for a moment that I may be a fair olive skin tone but I just don’t know. lol I can wear almost any color but supper white based pastels don’t look great in the clothing department.
soft autumn. I'm finding this out now too. except my eyes are brown and hair is dark brown but warm redness to it in the sun, so I'm def warm. as far as skin tho, yours sounds exactly like mine. I'm light olive which was SO hard to figure out. years. it took me YEARS. warm foundations were always too yellow and cool foundations too pink and most neutral foundations too orange after oxidizing. I try to buy natural products when I can but for foundation, you have to try Revlon colorstay in Buff 150. its perfect for olive skin. if that's too light, go with sand beige 180. once you figure out if you're truly olive, then you can find better brands that specialize in olive skin tones. they do exist! lol
the eyes of a soft summer i have like grey greenish eyes and the skin between soft summer and soft autumn pribably more a soft summer skin and my hair is soft autumn so what am i?
Whenever I watch your videos, I'm thrown off by your own styling -- like in this video you're dressed in Winter colors but wearing a coral lipstick, which is not a Winter cosmetic color.
I have natural ash blonde hair blue/gray/green eyes with brown around the iris. Also I have light olive neutral skin, I’m pretty sure I’m a soft summer but not all cool tones look good on me, gold accessories look best but warm colour clothing doesn’t look as good, I look best in sage, soft greens neutrals. In the summer I can pull off pastel yellows and warmer colours. Is there such thing as being both? Lol
I have grey cool eyes and grey to grey cool hair but í have neutral to warm undertone..ivory in winter but get warm in summer time I feel I can mix those two together but can’t wear red in my hair…well then I look sick😝 but I am 100% muted no matter what👍🏻
Have you checked your eyes during cloudy weather? Cause mine are same (only warm thing on me) but go blue/gray on cloudy days. That's how I figured I'm soft summer. It's literally wild how much they change their coloring they go from almost brown/green with gold around iris to blue/gray depending on weather 😂
Isabella, if you are a fashion consultant, shouldn't you know that with the wide shoulders you have, it's not good idea to have spaghetti straps? :) Thank you for the informative video 🙂I am soft summer and heard that I can borrow from soft autumn :)
Personally I don’t see wide shoulders at all! I think angular and with muscularity can be mistaken for wide. But she’s actually got narrow shoulders. Especially compared to myself, who has kibble width.
@@maddyG7414 I guess you are right. It might be the mascularity which make the shoulders look wider. I think to me short sleeve would look better, but it's personal preference 🙂
I immediately thought Bella was a soft summer because that gold dress doesn't flatter her much!

I have autumn eyes and summer hair. It’s confusing me but i think i lean warm but very unsure
Me too!
How do you look at yourself wearing yellow color? This will determine your status between these seasons nicely.
I find when you're between the two, you will lean one or the other way depending on season, but probably neutral and in between

@@nusskernmischeyou hair matters. Eyes not so much but colouring is a triad and your hair is a very big part of that.
