So beautiful Megan. And so needed as Week 3 after the election I can find myself going through the stages of grief. Last week was anger and I felt compassion for myself and others that might be feeling the same. This week more acceptance and strength - which this practice was chock full of - inner and outer.
41:01 That was so touching and I am so moved 😢 You helped me to tap into grief in a different way. I am hopeful that it will help in the upcoming few months. Thank you Megan ❤
Like ALL sooo many from CA, we are critically aware of what all TOO down from us are about to endure. Endless conversations here even months prior to the vote and many nights of no sleep-not working etc these last seven days. Traumatizing that *women* ,Caucasian at that, *chose* to intentionally throw so many lives into disarray and worse. Very fortunate to live in CA. So many people internet searching how to move here, already endless numbers in fact have done so since 2016. Hoping so much, but more so so very worried and fearful for those across that vast land.
@abeach here's just one example of why I cannot understand why any women would vote democrat: in Connecticut there are 6+ strapping teenage boys who to this date have cleaned up in girls' sports big-time - and received raves and awards from groups like the ACLU, Athlete Ally and GLAAD - because CT policy allows boys to compete in girls' HS school sports simply if they say they have a trans gender identity. So far 6 teenage boys have collectively won dozens of meet, conference and state titles, podium places in HS girls' sports in CT. Several of these boys have set historic records in CT girls' sports that will be very difficult or impossible for even the best HS-age female athletes to match or beat. CT policy doesn't require these boys to take hormones or undergo other medical intervenion. It doesn't even require them to ape sexist stereotypes so that they have a "girly" appearance, manner and "gender presentation." All boys in CT have to do to compete in girls' school sports is say they have an opposite-sex gender identity, or other newfangled gender idenity that is inconsistent with their sex. Also, in 2024 the CT state Department of Education issued a new official guidance document about "transgender and gender diverse students" which says that even when/if other students, parents, staff, coaches and the public object that it's unfair and unsafe for boys to compete in girls' sports and use girls' spaces like locker rooms and showers, all such objections must be dismissed or ignored from the get-go. Because, the guidance document claims, it's a violation of CT state law, US Title IX and the US Constituiton not to allow boys who say they have special gender identities to compete in girls' school sports and use girls' locker rooms, toilets, showers and bunk in girls' sleeping quarters when on school trips and traveling for away games/events.
Thanks for the video Megan! Also the vast majority here are actually very happy and excited. It’s been a really rough last few years here….you’re fortunate to have been able to avoid it. But most everyone I know is super happy because now we have hope ❤. Namaste 🙏🏼
I hope the message in the video is clear. Whatever “side” you are on, can you remember your nature and express that in a way that benefits some and hurts none 🙏
I clicked on this video because my little dog passed two weeks ago 😢, the election was the best thing that could have happened and cheered me up immensely!

Thank you and I hope it helps you to remember who you are and bring that into the collective conscious 💚
Each state is different, each persons reasons for voting the way they did differs; but this is about finding our nature so we can see it in others 🙏
