    I really don't understand why people say Yuto's tyle is "robotic". If anything he looks incredibly comfortable and his body flows with each trick he does. When I think of a robotic style I think more along the lines of Kelvin Hoefler who has a much more rigid, "robotic" looking style in my opinion.

    • @doclime4792
      @doclime4792 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah robotic to me is just staying in the same position for excessive periods rolling up or rolling away, stiffness in random parts of the body, foot position is too consistent yet when the trick isn't cooperative it just makes you look weird trying to adjust, head straight forward. I think it's a lot like dancing the aspects that make you look non robotic. Dancing is about the dancer being highly in tune and aware of their own body. You're present. The skater becomes one with their board. The skateboard becomes an extension of their body kind of shit. Some skaters can pull off insane shit without ever thinking about their body but the style suffers.

    I have to respectfully disagree about the steep crook. I’m not really seeing the fake steez. I guess this is a double standard but if you’re a skater of yuto’s caliber, I feel like you get a pass to slowly rise up after rolling away from a banging trick. And the camera probably belonged to Nike anyway.
    That said, while I agree that this is a 10/10 video, I also agree that Yuto could easily drop a heavier part than this. Many of these tricks seem like they probably took Yuto only a couple tries.

  • @nickmccack
    @nickmccack ปีที่แล้ว +14

    Why yuto and Paul get a pass on the robotic style is they skate more than just California school yards and contest parks that are made to (in terms of school yards virtually) made for skating.

    This part would have been a lot better if it had some clips of Yuto going on twitch and breaking some tables. That's what people really want to see

  • @Funkydank89

    The crooked grund was not fake steez, that land was heavy impact from a steep rail. Also good review, good criticism.

    It's crazy.. watchin yuto eat sht is impressive all on its own... I think its fairly safe to say most of his bails and falls would merk most. Have them pissing out a tube into a bag with brken bones every where... Looking like they jumped from the 100th floor on 9-11

    One cumplant I cooould say about Yuto, is he doesn't often do switch tricks where he takes them back to switch. It's usually back to regular (or goofy lol) so I'd like to see him mix that in more

  • @Bata9999
    @Bata9999 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If I have one complain it's the lack of a trick like his big switch tailslide opener on that rail in his previous part. The steep crook and the huge treflip were close but it could have used one more heavy banger preferably on a big rail.

    I never cared for Nike SB, Adidas Skateboarding, New Balance Numeric, etc. All these mainstream shoe brands that don’t specialize in skating have essentially ruined it for other companies. Easy for them to make a quick buck off a sport/hobby…

    • @NayburhoodSnipa

      Would Yuto be setting new standards for skating without these companies getting involved in the skateboard industry?

    • @rickyswrld4260
      @rickyswrld4260 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I totally understand what your saying but sadly these small shoe companies would not be able to support skateboarders in a way that Nike, adidas , and new balance have, what I’m getting at is they have the budget to actually make it possible for skaters to live off being pro/ budget to really boost there videos,Which these smaller companies could never pull off.
      Definitely two ways of looking it🤷‍♀️

      @@NayburhoodSnipa what is Yuto?
      As for your question; That is a private decision i suppose, it’s all about survival of the fittest. I feel like brands like vans and dc had strayed away from the skateboarding scene and companies like saucony or Reebok or whoever come swooping in outta nowhere & are now taking over.
      If they happen to manufacture better quality footwear for skateboarding, then so be it, I actually welcome it, but I don’t appreciate how they’ve screwed over other small yet successful & well known companies. It just doesn’t feel genuine and everyone in on it is in for the immediate cash-grab opportunity. Who wouldn’t leave a company for a better-paying one? That’s just common sense.
      I used to wear Supras all the time, even met Chad Muska, Antuan Dixon, and Eric Ellington and the rest of them, yet they were just bought out by KSwiss and it seems like Supra footwear is effectively dead. Sad to see.

    • @NayburhoodSnipa

      @Mike_Cosentino I understand your perspective. My point was that skating has become highly popularized in Japan because of large companies making skating a global product that consumers want.

    it‘s not your quest to take critic negatively on skate parts who have their freedom of art and aren‘t suppose to perform like you‘d like it to… watch your reactions again and realise that you don‘t share love but a form of hate… i mean your expressions are on such a low frequency and I highly recommend you to inform yourself about the frequencies you give out to the world and how you can be more positive in the way you talk!

    This is honestly why I don’t watch this channel. No one cares about how “steezy” someone is. It looks so damn cool so why give him crap about it? People skate the way that hypes them up. You’re also incredibly annoying with that weird singing thing you do it makes it unbearable to watch. I will say I agree with your camera opinion though. Old VHS cameras are super annoying to me, it’s 2024 let’s use 4k cameras and stop with the super up close angles it’s impossible to appreciate the size of objects they’re skating. It’s the main reason skating isn’t getting anymore popular
