I love stamper a lot and I use it mostly in tc. I prefer the vanilla but the Neo is good in some situations Ig. Burst and mist both work very similar. Burst can combo but honestly just using a vertical then horizontal is much faster if there isn’t any cover. Just some tips that I have for different modes: Rainmaker: best advantage for having stamper is the vertical slashes having extremely good object damage on the shield. Popping the rainmaker is much easier with this and that’s mainly the only advantage. Both kits are good for controlling an area and stopping pushes from other teams, although the vanilla requires much more aggression and the Neo is going to be used more far back for this. I recommend being on the front lines when your team has the rainmaker, and overall use more long range picks rather than the one shot vertical up close. TC: this mode is really good for stamper in general. You can pick off people from afar pretty well but the best thing is the up close vertical because it’s actually quite fast and hard to see coming, and can be done from ledges. Again, crab is good for holding areas down but won’t really stop the tower itself from moving but force others off. Zipcaster will help you manually stop pushes and take control of the tower for a short time, but it’s good for overtime or negating large pushes. Splat zones: stamper is very good at painting with vertical slashes. It might be ink hungry but constantly poking and painting the zone from the distance will help. I recommend Neo for this mode because as I already said you’ll be much farther back and you’ll be constantly painting so you’ll constantly get crab. Crab is great because you can control the zone or any area really for a good amount of time and can help rack up points and get the lead. I will say though that burst is better in the fact that it can paint but really it’s not worth it as the crab is more important and you won’t be painting with burst much anyways. Clam: poking at a distance is really good for stamper on this mode, and if it needs to one shot it can in some instances. Really either kit is good but if you want to be more defensive then use Neo and if you want to help with push’s then use the vanilla. Mist and crab can control areas and trap opponents more easily, while burst helps paint and get around more easily, and zip can help you advance and set up entrances for other teammates. You can still hold down areas with zip so vanilla is probably better but either way you’ll be pretty fine since clam blitz moves back and forth so much.
It can definitely be used to stall as it can buy time for your team to regroup or catch on to what you are doing. I will say that I am much better at stamper and zipcaster as a whole now compared to the recording though 😅

That was really helpful! I didn’t know about using zipcaster to stall.
