Stamper being meta since the very beginning, even with the nerfs it got, shows how strong this weapon is. I'm a proud stamper main, this weapon is perfection.
Even when zipcaster was considered the worst special, it was still incredibly relevant. Shows how a synergistic kit can be more important than a strong kit, like roller!
@@golden_vibezz4290 I think it’s really up to preference and what feels comfortable for you, but the best sensitivity I’d say is anywhere around +1 or +3 Motion, +1 gives you really stable aim imo and is a good sensitivity on Stamper +3 feels very easy to control and get used to which is why I also recommend it, For Sticks +5 is the Best imo just because of how fast it is but use whatever you prefer. Personally my Sensitivity on Stamper is 1.5 or sometimes 3.5 Motion and +5 Sticks (I used to use a Higher Sensitivity for a bit but after a while I changed it lower so my aim is more stable/easier)
14:18 I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned here (or at all) that one of the reasons you want to be jumping around while spamming Charge Slashes is because the Lunge can only activate if you're grounded, so jumping first prevents accidental lunges.
I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned here (or at all) that the Lunge can ONLY activate if you're HOLDING forward when releasing a fully charged slash, so jumping only covers one case that requires a deliberate input anyways.
I remember I started using stamper in preparation for the decavitator, but once it came out, all my stamper skills atrophied to nothing, so I quit it. Thanks for the guide
17:35 I literally have all of the necessary ones on a set I've been working on for the past few days?? comeback on my head + 3 walk speed up, 4 swim speed up on my shirt, stealth jump and 3 sub power up on my boots??? this is amazing since its one of my fav fit combos too!!
evil autism is using these tutorial videos to improve your matchups against the weapon it's about. happy to see that i seem to have already figured it out (punishing tunnel visioned zips, taking advantage of mobility and cover, etc.) this weapon has always been such a mystery to me though so it's nice to see everything laid out so clean.
Pre-video thought ig; This weapons design is so interesting and unique. Because of this and the meta that’s it’s in, I really can’t complain about this weapon. Combine this with its learning curve, and you have a near perfect top tier weapon. I love this thing :P Rlly looking forward to this video!
This really did help, before I was playing more like a splatana wiper, but Now looking at it as "when they going to close the gap?" Helps so much more, with playing and really finding the identy of the weapon. Thank you Chara.
This is really convenient for me, as someone who has been on and off with stamper since Drizzle Season 2022 and finally decided to one trick it for comp a week ago Ty very much!
I really appreciate this, and perfect timing too. I've been just trying to get back into the game, and wanted to expand to using the Stamper (I've mostly been a Wiper main). Going to be rewatching this a bunch to drill it into my head, and maybe get the hang of this thing. Thanks Chara!
I’ve been trying to get the hang of Splatana Stamper since the game came out, this was so helpful! I’d consider myself an advanced player and yet I’m always in awe of Chara’s skill with the weapon. Thanks for the guide ! 🙏
I just started to use stamper and even wiper again because I missed using my old loadout for both splatanas since I am using the charcoal decavitator so much because of the insane kills that I have been using with the horizontal charge slash. I am going to have these 3 splatanas with 4 stars even to 5 stars. I believe that I have found my main class for splatoon 3 Edit: I do want to had this one chunk that is perfect for your gear that is: Haunt. Chase actually talked about this chunk which is very important and powerful to use on dapper duallies and even for splatana wiper and stamper. What Haunt does is when you die, you are going to be able to see your opponents location (only the opponent that killed you) and, when you eliminate that player, you are able to give him a respawn punisher and it is actually different from the respawn punisher
Thank you for this guide. Because the stamper matchup rare in low-midlevel, it's hard to notice any other weaknesses besides the slow charge attacks and the slow dps horizontal slash
Nice guide! I feel like I learned some useful info, especially the tips about peeking over ledges. That said, my preference as a somewhat novice player is for the Nouveau over the standard Stamper. I'm not really good enough at fast-paced reactions to make the best use of Zipcaster most of the time, so a slower, more methodical and defensive special like Crab Tank generally suits my playstyle better.
Bruh I was so good with stamper then I stopped and wa trash but this video took me into my prime again thanks for this video prochara it really helped me and keep up the bangers!❤
Thanks, this will be quite useful for me. When I had tried this weapon before I struggled due to its complexity and difference from my main weapon type (Dualies). I will retry it since it really does look like its a fun one.
I almost exclusively play Salmon Run, but I'm proud to say that Stamper is my favorite non-golden weapon to use in that mode! It doesn't struggle with mobility, it excels at clearing lessers, and it slays bosses so easily! The only weakness it has for Salmon Run is its matchup vs Fish Sticks. Hopefully you've got a teammate who can cover those for you, but otherwise it's a joy to play that weapon in SR!
Seeing the weapons it might struggle against, I practically guessed qll of them before watching since I struggle against those weapons lol But bucket did surprise me and makes a lot of sense. Being able to slosh under the ledge you are attacking under and going over cover if played right is a counter I honestly forget about
I will be saving this video and rewatching it multiple times in order to actually absorb the fire you're spitting at me🔥🔥🔥(I just got back into stamper)
Stamper, Ballpoint, Undercover Brella, Octobrush, and Sloshing Machine are my favorite weapons to play in Splatoon 3. Honestly though my ideal weapon and gear build for just having fun would be an Undercover Brella with Ink Mine and Zipcaster in combination with Ninja Squid. an undercover that can slip invisibly past opponents to get anywhere on the map and leave invisible bombs that they *just keep running into.* Spooky super-spy jumpscare build, essentially.
I’m not good with Zipcaster but I like the main weapon and Crab so I ended up 4 starting Nouveau/Neo Stamper thanks to one of my friends (Nower) saying it’s the more supportive of the 2 options and I like support-mid range slayer hybrids
I play pretty casually most of the time and I’ve always wanted to main stamper since I saw it resembled a chainsaw but always found the wiper to fit my play style better, but maybe I’ll give it another go
YAY STAMPER!! Order stamper is how i CRUSHED (redacted final boss) and have been loving it! Wish Inkbrush had the qeapon collision damage stamper does :')
My one question is; is choosing 2 subs ink saver OVER 2 subs of ink recovery wise?? That referencing the multiple benefits ink recovery gives over ink saver, ie quicker return, ink efficiency, burst bomb support.
The unfortunate part of the stamper needs is that every stamper player runs more or less the exact same gear, so there's a lot less diversity in playstyles (The gear in question: comeback, stealth, 1.0 swim, 0.6 ism, 0.3 ink recov, 0.6 spu, 0.3-0.6 bomb range & utilities)
Don’t forget that awful mechanic where you’ll occasionally shoot a second horizontal slash if you shot one but took too long to start your next charge slash. This is on all splatanas. :(
Interesting how my gear that i love using for dualies (glooga and tetra in particular) (comeback, QR, stealth jump, and 1 sub special charge, 1 sub ISM, 2 subs swim speed, 1 sub quick respawn, and the three utility subs of special saver QSJ and ink res) is so similar to a good all-modes splatana stamper kit
Ive been wanting to pick up stamper for awhile now so i think this may help alot! I do wonder though will my new squiffer build work out or should I make a whole new stamper build entirely? (Even though I spent time finishing my carbon build and my splattershot build so some of my Ability chunks are not very high)
My "I'm rusty with stamper but i'll just wait for the prochara guide" arc will finally be over
Dang
damn we're in the same boat🤝

Something I would like to add is you can zip past a cooler to pick up a drink before you start a fight with it or if it’s in a difficult spot.

You know it is a great video when they announce it 5 days early
Legend has it that Chara only touches grass when he's hopping in the car to go to a splatoon tournament
