WAIT WAIT WAIT, I RUN CLARA, RUAN MIE, TINGYUN, LYNX, AND MY CLARA HAS 160 SPEED WITHOUT SPEED BOOT (I don't have Robin or Loucha) Should I do the sacerdos set?? Right now I'm running 2 piece champion with 2 peice grand duke and the duran set that gives 25% followup dmg and 25% crit dmg and my clara hits for like 50k on ult(all buffs) and 80-100k on breaks, SO couldn't I also use it on Tingyun and get the perm 36% crit dmg buff, along with the 25% followup dmg buff and 25% followup dmg buff which would total, 61% crit dmf buff with 25% followup dmg buff and hyperspeed clara by switching to speed boot. (Both single target numbers)
Thanks for all the info on the relics! One thing that could help in the future is a summary table of the characters (e.g. BIS, technically BIS but not worth farm, worse then current sets, unusable). That might help with people thinking you just forgot a potential character.

With more and more Characters coming, I think the best way to handle new relic videos in the future is like you did now. 1 video with the basic explanation and which characters actually profit from them (and maybe which characters seem like they would but don't) and 1 potential video afterwards to adress the questions that arise in the comments if there are enough for it to be worth to make another video and not just a pinned comment
Thanks for covering scholar Welt and actually taking your time to calc the numbers, I really appreciate it. ^^ I totally missed, that half of his damage comes from his Talent, when he uses his Skill. I though it wouldn't be as impactful on his overall damage as it is, so it makes sense, that Scholar falls off in comparison. Also, I like the idea of multiple sections for bis and alternative users.
Great followup video, look forward to the restructure mentioned! Good amount of stuff in here I didn't personally consider, like QQ Sacerdos, or Yunli/Clara.
This is why Jingliu has always been one of the most difficult DPS to play with. Simply her 100% auto advance burns the buffs she has really fast, meaning you only have a very small window of optimal DPS. She needs a buffer that create fields like Robin instead of turn based buffs to perform optimally.
JQ and other debuffers are probably better for Jingliu than any harmony units thanks to the 100% auto advance. Its a really big debuff on the character by not making her work optimally with harmony units.
@@AquilaGuard Honestly, her best support is still Ruan Mei imo. She offers tons of Bonus Damage that doesnt fade on JL's turn but rather on RM's turn which can be adjusted through speed tuning. Energy is also JL's main concern, which is why Huo2 and Tingyun usually her BiS as well.
This is the real reason why it sucks so much that jinglius best support was bronya for so long. Despite being glued to bronya she doesn't even make full use of her because bronya will never be able to buff all of her damage. I frankly have no idea why hoyo decided jinglius ST state should be an action advance and not an extra action @@AquilaGuard
Thanks for making this! There's always lots of corner cases with relics that I can't help but wonder about later on. I'll have this video to come back to when I get around to wondering about these numbers later.
better then Bronya but the full potential will be behind summoning units unfortunately. Hopefully she gets a real dedicated support with an aura buff that functions around hp drain mechanics.

I really appreciate you taking the time to put this together. It was very insightful and really nice to see you go over the pros and cons 💜🌈 With regards to future relic videos, I think it's fine doing what you've done so far with mentioning initial thoughts on the potential they may or may not provide certain characters, then making a continuation where you go more in depth while addressing whatever questions you'd like to answer from the comments in the previous video. Since relics keep getting updates and have flexibility with how they're applied to characters, I think people will understand that you can't cover every kind of playstyle and character.
I'm gonna be real, just the fact that people asked about the set with DHIL shows why people can't complete endgame, like if you have dhil and can't even read his kit to know what he does .... just wtf
I appreciate the follow up video for clarification on new relics. I'd also hope percentage differences could be shown for different planetary sets and relics when they do get released so people can evaluate what's worth going for. Example: Some people may just now be getting Topaz because Followup is really picking up. And maybe these same individuals are also farming Lushaka and getting BananAmusement pieces. Yes, Duran is better, but assuming this player is using an Acheron/Nihility team and a Feixiao/Topaz Followup team, and don't have break characters to benefit from the Kalapagni planetery set, it might just be OK to just get a "good enough:" Banan planetary set for Topaz for now and then farm for better stuff later when the player starts picking up Break focused characters. It'd also be good to know the same kinds of percentage differences for new DPS lightcones, too. But obviously that's a lot of work. Still I appreciate the insight and data you offer in a video format to others as is. Asking for more info just shows that I value what I see here that I'd take the time to thank you and ask for more info, if that makes sense.
We really need a new Relic Set for Daniel IL, almost 2 years and I'm still having to use the Imaginary Set on him for lack of a better option. However, I doubt we'll get one until they release some new DPS that likes to burn Skill Points.
Jingliu with Tingyun for ult extension has always been my favorite way of playing her anyway, and I already used my extra SP on Tingyun for more energy. I also haven't had a clue what to farm lately (all units geared, only missing some hard to find upgrades) so this cavern is my new home.
My suggestion with the Relic overview videos is that, I don't mind to get thrown around all the info that can utilize the relics because its nice going back to the video regarding the relic set and see how much they benefit with them or not. I usually went back with your Valorous set and Grand Duke relic review vids to go back how much it is for units like Feixiao and Topaz respectively. So, I personally don't mind having a very comprehensive relic guide that goes over all units no matter how small or big. Though, I understand if that maybe is a big undertaking and may take more effort and may also lead to a slower upload.

I think Sacerdos on Clara is interesting, because it's a set people will probably farm a lot of for the many supports it's very good on, but Clara is interested in different stats/substats. So you might well accidentally end up with a really cracked set for Clara while you're struggling to put together decent sets for your supports.
Lynx sacerdos seem like a great reason for me to farm that set. I use Clara wherever the game threw a fast boss (Kafka and now Hoolay) or physical weak enemies (I skipped Argenti, Boothill & Yunli). I'm just using 2 pcs hp & speed currently for her.
The two piece crit rate is valuable to people with premium fua teams. People like ratio yunli himeko herta where crit rate is more valuable than crit dmg.
People discount 2pc way too much. The moment I saw those 2pc I knew this cave was a monumental banger and almost an omnifarm outside of VERY specialized characters like Super Break teams or DoT Hell I was shocked this didn’t get nerfed in beta lmao (not that it’s broken or anything but I’m just still reeling from how badly they butchered beta Valorous)
I'll be trying to get my precious boy DHIL his signature lightcone since I got him e2 last time he was rate-up. It's a bit disappointing that his best set is still musketeer, but hey, I'll be very busy farming to finally get a hyperspeed Sparkle so whatever, I'll just be waiting patiently in hopes that he becomes slightly more meta some day.
Sacerdos is definitely going to used a lot since we all know that double crit substats are more common in support relic sets than offensive sets like Scholar.🤪
For the Jing Liu build why do you consider only switching between the Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and Attack%. Getting more speed substats is more effective on her than A% and sometimes comparable to Crit ones.
If I analogize speed as a separate multiplier A% substats generate around 1% Overall damage increase Speed does a 1.5% damage increase and Crit does a 2% damage increase.

for clara i feel like 4pc longevous would just be better. 18% crit dmg vs 16% crit rate (plus some bonus HP for tankiness). shouldnt even be a question imo
If i use my fu xuan e1 , sparkle e0 (both with their light cones) my jing liu will have around 83% crit rate without counting any subs stat at all. Her bis pieces may be almost 100% focused only on cdmg and atk.
Sacerdos is such a minor improvement and farming it is gonna take so long that it’ll probably be powercreeped by the time I finish farming it. However, I know double 2 piece speed is gonna be relevant someday so I might as well farm some.
Either farm Quantum for Jingliu with E1 Ruan Mei + Pela, or just keep Ice set (and farm Eagle shenanigans at the same time) For other units mentionned, Sparkle/ TY are fine with 2pc + rainbow as long as SPD threshold is met The rest is neglectable upgrade or sidegrade, so...
@@tufol33k78I wouldn't advise anyone to farm quantum at this point, nobody uses the withering set anymore so half the domain is useless. The new set on the other hand looks pretty universal for most current hypercarries, and the other will probably be bis on Sunday
@@tufol33k78 the only units I’m currently considering farming Sacerdos for are my E2 Sparkle and E6 Bronya (yeah I’m not a whale that just sorta happened, I still don’t even have 2 of the standard banner 5 stars). However, they both need ridiculously specific speed tuning and their current sets are easily my most farmed of all time with insane sub stats. So since Sacerdos is such a minor upgrade I’d probably be farming it for many months before it actually became an upgrade. Funnily enough the other 4 units you mentioned I either don’t have or in Pela and TY’s case don’t have built. I have a somewhat unusual account but I still clear all the endgame content so it’s a perfectly functional way to play even if not very meta.
There's actually saving grace for Jingliu wasted buff after advancement, just make sure to ready Bronya or Sparkle ult to refresh from 1 turn before she end her action.

Completely unrelated to this video, but after acquiring an S4 Sleep Like the Dead recently I'm wondering how the standard 5* lightcones at high superimposition compares to some of the limited options. Are any of them actually solid, and if so, on which characters?
based of Some calculations scholar is actually the slightly better choice for seele if you're not running mono quantum or not up against quantum weak enemies Tho i understand if people farmed the domain too much and dont wanna make the swithc that's okay but reminder that the new 2.6 relic domain provides so much grinding value that you can have an alt set ready for seele or anyone at that point
Seele haver, that occasionally use her, making the switch for "slightly better" performance is VERY unappealing after grinding my half my life away for some decent relics from that god awful cavern. she can one shot almost any trash quantum weak mobs and does decent job at fighting quantum weak bosses, that is good enough for me

Well I tested the differences in multipliers and debuffs, the scholar lost in Erudition set has a DMG Dealt multiplier which in other words is a final DMG multiplier which yes it would best pick for seele since her whole kit focuses on getting an extra turn via skill, but the real question, will Seele quantum set be better it gives 10% quantum and defense ignore as defense ignore is good however it's only 10%, now what I would suggest is using scholar Erudition set against none quantum enemies and quantum enemies use quantum set
2:16 Your first point isn't very reasonable in my opinion. We are replacing a set for another set, which means it's fair to say that it won't be replaced until the substats are right. If you are not farming the new set to be as good as your old set, then there is little point in doing so at all. E.g. I am at 50 / 250 with my ice set, so if I'm going to replace it with the newer set, I would not stop until I had a 50 / 265+ set minimum. Otherwise, I just wouldn't use it. This is my standard in general and why I continue to use old sets for a while since it takes a long time to get the substats to standard. Small note: Jingliu's first rotation wouldn't suffer from the issue you point out in a -1 speed Bronya setup since she would already be in her transformed state upon her first 100% advance.
Nah I think you just misunderstood the point. In calcs I used for the first vid I had to remove CR subs or else she'd go over 50% CR. In this video Im explaining why the substats being changed into ATK/CDMG isnt crazy and showing which subs I changed. If I could use the same subs as before I would, but I cant, she overcaps cause of the 2 piece ^^ Hope that helps. Small note: For the first rotation yes, but the point is about her getting into the state which would mean 1/2 Syzygy -> Bronya -> 2/2 Syzygy has the same problem

Is the relic cap getting raised at one point? They keep pumping out new relic sets each major patch but never increase the cap from 2k... It seriously gets more and more annoying to manage relics, especially since you have to expect new units coming out which are scaling on weird stats like "effect hit rate" or "effect res".
@@ao2415 it's a problem for people who burn their trailblaze power daily. Sometimes you don't want to sort through the relics daily and just grind them only to hit the 2k cap at the end of the week and destroy your 4 stars then it repeats over and over until you inevitably have 1,9k 5 star relics and need to sort them out for an hour or two. A bigger cap would be nice imo. Around 5k would be cool.
@@darkgrundi9543 why don't you just lock your potential pieces after every run and use the salvage option before logging out? unless all you are getting are cracked pieces. all useless 5 stars can be turned into relic remains and be turned other relics.
@@itsargenta already do that more often than not. Still hitting the cap often enough and then i need to +3 every 3 node piece that has potential first. I'm not even hunting for cracked pieces, i'm usually gambling on anything with double crit no matter the other substats.
I mean, since you need to farm the new set from scratch I feel like the comments about needing different substats for Jingliu are kind of irrelevant. Then again, I'm part of the 99.9% who will NEVER have a fully min-maxed Relic set, so comfy builds are worth far more than losing a small amount of purely theoretical damage.

You mean 4pc musketeer? I run that on my tingyun too, happened to get some cracked pieces back in like 1.1-1.2 and never bothered to change it. My tingyuns at like 164 spd and 2.5k atk. Welp maybe with this new set I'll try for a 180 speed build if I get bored @@dudemetslagroom8065
2 Scholar 2 Imaginary (id prefer Pioneer for efficiency) but its pretty insignificant, just farm whatever is most efficient which is Scholar/Sacerdos over Musk/Passerby IMO
4 Boxer is still her BIS but once you free yourself from the shackles of 4pc you’ll see how much easier it is to build everyone (who isn’t super specialized like DoT or SuperBreak) Disclaimer: I use Fribbels, I wouldn’t do this otherwise but also Fribbels is so good no reason not to use it ngl
Yeah, gotta remember the calc differences are always with the same substats (some exceptions like Jingliu Scholar, but still same amount of DPS substats), so its only gonna be an upgrade ONCE you got the stats at the same level as before ^^
You should use Sparkle with Sacerdos (unless wind shenanigans) in general, and its great for E0 AND E2 Dhil. I just mention in the vid that its hard to stack up on him at E2 :)

Jingliu with Tingyun for ult extension has always been my favorite way of playing her anyway, and I already used my extra SP on Tingyun for more energy. I also haven't had a clue what to farm lately (all units geared, only missing some hard to find upgrades) so this cavern is my new home.
My suggestion with the Relic overview videos is that, I don't mind to get thrown around all the info that can utilize the relics because its nice going back to the video regarding the relic set and see how much they benefit with them or not. I usually went back with your Valorous set and Grand Duke relic review vids to go back how much it is for units like Feixiao and Topaz respectively. So, I personally don't mind having a very comprehensive relic guide that goes over all units no matter how small or big. Though, I understand if that maybe is a big undertaking and may take more effort and may also lead to a slower upload.

you can now create your own Sacerdos team - Yunli or Clara, Tingyun, Lynx, Sparkle or Sunday
I think Sacerdos on Clara is interesting, because it's a set people will probably farm a lot of for the many supports it's very good on, but Clara is interested in different stats/substats. So you might well accidentally end up with a really cracked set for Clara while you're struggling to put together decent sets for your supports.
As an Argenti main and Sunday lover....the mines, the mines are calling...
Lynx sacerdos seem like a great reason for me to farm that set.
I use Clara wherever the game threw a fast boss (Kafka and now Hoolay) or physical weak enemies (I skipped Argenti, Boothill & Yunli).
I'm just using 2 pcs hp & speed currently for her.

The two piece crit rate is valuable to people with premium fua teams. People like ratio yunli himeko herta where crit rate is more valuable than crit dmg.
People discount 2pc way too much. The moment I saw those 2pc I knew this cave was a monumental banger and almost an omnifarm outside of VERY specialized characters like Super Break teams or DoT

I am finally going to fulfill my dream of hypercarry Silver Wolf DPS with scholar set and Sacerdos allies.
I'll be trying to get my precious boy DHIL his signature lightcone since I got him e2 last time he was rate-up. It's a bit disappointing that his best set is still musketeer, but hey, I'll be very busy farming to finally get a hyperspeed Sparkle so whatever, I'll just be waiting patiently in hopes that he becomes slightly more meta some day.

Sacerdos is definitely going to used a lot since we all know that double crit substats are more common in support relic sets than offensive sets like Scholar.🤪
For the Jing Liu build why do you consider only switching between the Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and Attack%. Getting more speed substats is more effective on her than A% and sometimes comparable to Crit ones.
Because in the calc the SPD was finetuned already. More SPD wouldnt have changed anything

If I analogize speed as a separate multiplier A% substats generate around 1% Overall damage increase Speed does a 1.5% damage increase and Crit does a 2% damage increase.

for clara i feel like 4pc longevous would just be better. 18% crit dmg vs 16% crit rate (plus some bonus HP for tankiness). shouldnt even be a question imo
If i use my fu xuan e1 , sparkle e0 (both with their light cones) my jing liu will have around 83% crit rate without counting any subs stat at all. Her bis pieces may be almost 100% focused only on cdmg and atk.
Personally I run the Blade 4p set on Clara because I get a consistent 16% crit rate buff.

Sacerdos is such a minor improvement and farming it is gonna take so long that it’ll probably be powercreeped by the time I finish farming it. However, I know double 2 piece speed is gonna be relevant someday so I might as well farm some.
Either farm Quantum for Jingliu with E1 Ruan Mei + Pela, or just keep Ice set (and farm Eagle shenanigans at the same time)
For other units mentionned, Sparkle/ TY are fine with 2pc + rainbow as long as SPD threshold is met
The rest is neglectable upgrade or sidegrade, so...
@@tufol33k78I wouldn't advise anyone to farm quantum at this point, nobody uses the withering set anymore so half the domain is useless. The new set on the other hand looks pretty universal for most current hypercarries, and the other will probably be bis on Sunday
@@tufol33k78 the only units I’m currently considering farming Sacerdos for are my E2 Sparkle and E6 Bronya (yeah I’m not a whale that just sorta happened, I still don’t even have 2 of the standard banner 5 stars). However, they both need ridiculously specific speed tuning and their current sets are easily my most farmed of all time with insane sub stats. So since Sacerdos is such a minor upgrade I’d probably be farming it for many months before it actually became an upgrade.
Funnily enough the other 4 units you mentioned I either don’t have or in Pela and TY’s case don’t have built. I have a somewhat unusual account but I still clear all the endgame content so it’s a perfectly functional way to play even if not very meta.

There's actually saving grace for Jingliu wasted buff after advancement, just make sure to ready Bronya or Sparkle ult to refresh from 1 turn before she end her action.
Their ultimates are teamwide and will not give a stack so this won’t work.
nah, make sure to play Robin (Robin + Bronya) or Ruan Mei (if E1) + Pela, and you good to go

In your first video on the relics you mentioned the healers but what about units like Jiaoqiu. At E0 he does not have any good 4 Piece Sets, so i guess that would be best when im gunning for 160 SPD on him. What are your thoughts?
I mentioned it for non wind debuffers in first vid. So Pela or Jiaoqiu or Silver Wolf if not using wind on them :D

Completely unrelated to this video, but after acquiring an S4 Sleep Like the Dead recently I'm wondering how the standard 5* lightcones at high superimposition compares to some of the limited options. Are any of them actually solid, and if so, on which characters?

based of Some calculations scholar is actually the slightly better choice for seele if you're not running mono quantum or not up against quantum weak enemies Tho i understand if people farmed the domain too much and dont wanna make the swithc that's okay but reminder that the new 2.6 relic domain provides so much grinding value that you can have an alt set ready for seele or anyone at that point
Seele haver, that occasionally use her, making the switch for "slightly better" performance is VERY unappealing after grinding my half my life away for some decent relics from that god awful cavern. she can one shot almost any trash quantum weak mobs and does decent job at fighting quantum weak bosses, that is good enough for me

If not going vs Quantum weak yeah Scholar wins as the DEF ignore drops to 10%. Do people run her often vs non weak? (outside of mono)

How viable is the scholar set for Herta? Damage comparison to ice set or fua set
Well I tested the differences in multipliers and debuffs, the scholar lost in Erudition set has a DMG Dealt multiplier which in other words is a final DMG multiplier which yes it would best pick for seele since her whole kit focuses on getting an extra turn via skill, but the real question, will Seele quantum set be better it gives 10% quantum and defense ignore as defense ignore is good however it's only 10%, now what I would suggest is using scholar Erudition set against none quantum enemies and quantum enemies use quantum set
It is not a final DMG multiplier its DMG% like any other common buff.
Vs non Qua weak Scholar will win
Me realizing Sacerdos is probably busted on QQ because her skill targets herself and you never just ...don't skill with the gamba gremlin.

2:16 Your first point isn't very reasonable in my opinion. We are replacing a set for another set, which means it's fair to say that it won't be replaced until the substats are right. If you are not farming the new set to be as good as your old set, then there is little point in doing so at all. E.g. I am at 50 / 250 with my ice set, so if I'm going to replace it with the newer set, I would not stop until I had a 50 / 265+ set minimum. Otherwise, I just wouldn't use it. This is my standard in general and why I continue to use old sets for a while since it takes a long time to get the substats to standard.
Small note: Jingliu's first rotation wouldn't suffer from the issue you point out in a -1 speed Bronya setup since she would already be in her transformed state upon her first 100% advance.
Nah I think you just misunderstood the point.
In calcs I used for the first vid I had to remove CR subs or else she'd go over 50% CR. In this video Im explaining why the substats being changed into ATK/CDMG isnt crazy and showing which subs I changed. If I could use the same subs as before I would, but I cant, she overcaps cause of the 2 piece ^^ Hope that helps.
Small note: For the first rotation yes, but the point is about her getting into the state which would mean 1/2 Syzygy -> Bronya -> 2/2 Syzygy has the same problem

Is the relic cap getting raised at one point? They keep pumping out new relic sets each major patch but never increase the cap from 2k... It seriously gets more and more annoying to manage relics, especially since you have to expect new units coming out which are scaling on weird stats like "effect hit rate" or "effect res".

@@ao2415 it's a problem for people who burn their trailblaze power daily. Sometimes you don't want to sort through the relics daily and just grind them only to hit the 2k cap at the end of the week and destroy your 4 stars then it repeats over and over until you inevitably have 1,9k 5 star relics and need to sort them out for an hour or two. A bigger cap would be nice imo. Around 5k would be cool.
@@darkgrundi9543 why don't you just lock your potential pieces after every run and use the salvage option before logging out? unless all you are getting are cracked pieces. all useless 5 stars can be turned into relic remains and be turned other relics.
@@itsargenta already do that more often than not. Still hitting the cap often enough and then i need to +3 every 3 node piece that has potential first. I'm not even hunting for cracked pieces, i'm usually gambling on anything with double crit no matter the other substats.

Then again, I'm part of the 99.9% who will NEVER have a fully min-maxed Relic set, so comfy builds are worth far more than losing a small amount of purely theoretical damage.

2 Scholar 2 Imaginary (id prefer Pioneer for efficiency) but its pretty insignificant, just farm whatever is most efficient which is Scholar/Sacerdos over Musk/Passerby IMO

That is also fine. 4 Boxer = 4 Longevous = 2 Piece Combos = 4 Scholar at this point within like 1-2% lmao, all depending on substats
4 Boxer is still her BIS but once you free yourself from the shackles of 4pc you’ll see how much easier it is to build everyone (who isn’t super specialized like DoT or SuperBreak)

Summons are whatever shows up in the action bar, so only Numby, Lightning Lord and Fuyuan so far
theres honestly people who think once you switch sets you can get 3-4 crit rolls on all gear pieces in less than a month xd
Yeah, gotta remember the calc differences are always with the same substats (some exceptions like Jingliu Scholar, but still same amount of DPS substats), so its only gonna be an upgrade ONCE you got the stats at the same level as before ^^

You should use Sparkle with Sacerdos (unless wind shenanigans) in general, and its great for E0 AND E2 Dhil. I just mention in the vid that its hard to stack up on him at E2 :)
