This is a great video, and my left ear loved listening to it!
Vault X only recently switched to boxes -- they were bagged for a long time.
Supposedly all these binders are made in the same factory -- this includes some far more expensive big name binders, and as you note, some much less expensive brands as well. I don't know how true this is, but at first glance this seems plausible.
If one reads the box, it says Designed in the U.K. (where Vault X is located), manufactured in China. If I had to guess there's probably a single factory putting these out that offers a small variety of customizations. The "design"is probably just deciding on which options to choose and designing the logo that's stamped on them.
I don't understand why none do a longer spine and longer spaces between the pages, double sleeves will cause unpleasant bumps, but single sleeves will make ygo cards move around the pages

Greatly appreciate the review, I have several Vaultx 9 pocket binders but I had no idea that they offered a 12 pocket binder. I’m definitely gonna pick one of these up. I’m planning on storing a master set of Paldea evolved as well as the Japanese equivalent sets all in one binder; snow hazard, clay burst, and triplet beat. Almost the perfect amount of pockets for all 4 sets. I think it would be pretty cool to have both English and Japanese of the full sets combined into one binder.
Great idea. I have the 1999 Base Set in English and Japanese in one of these binders and it's amazing to look through.
Just ordered my very first 10 boosters packs of Base SV. Also ordered the Teal color 9 paged binder.

Hi, I have a question: Are the binder's pockets big enough to store the cards with the special Pokemon Elite Trainer Box Sleeves on them? Just because these sleeves are slightly larger and sturdier than regular sleeves. Thanks!

At 3:26 on the right page on the first column the page bends downwards, I’ve been thinking about picking up this binder but do you think this causes damage to the cards
I see what you mean. Since it’s been a couple years, the spine has broken in and it doesn’t really do this anymore. And I’ve also checked my cards but don’t see any damage
I need to know more about the silica gel you placed inside 👀 Is that recommended for humidity?

do ultra pro penny sleeve work with this binder? and Ultra Pro Standard Deck Clear Protector Sleeves or do you need to get the vaultx sleeves.

Any sleeve should fit! I tend to use standard size ultra pro

Penny sleeves come in different sizes- Japanese (small), perfect fit, and standard. They’ll all fit in the binder.
Does Vault X Premium Exo-Tec® XL Zip Binder - 12 Pocket XL really come 12 with 624 pockets?
Hey, what do you think about the vaultx xl binder with 624 pocket? In EU is at the same price of the vaultx with 480 pocket. Did u try it?
I haven’t tried it but I have other binders with 600+ capacity and they are awesome!
The Turkra binder literally lists Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) as its material then says non-PVC on it's description. Maybe double check this if you're using the off-brand one?
Which one do you have in your video? It's not marked with Turkra, Pakesi, or Toron.
I have quite a collection now, but the off-brand one in the video is free of any branding. If I'm not mistaken, the listing is referring to the pages as non-PVC and other materials as PVC. I'm guessing the actual shell of the binder would be PVC.

Also where'd you read/hear about the PVC material on the binders?
@@Fasian4 I had ordered a Pakesi binder and I received a completely unbranded one from Amazon. In regards to the PVC material, that's purely speculation on my part, but I'm going to contact them and see what they say.

9:15 is there any reason you put silica gel packs in your binder?
Yep, they absorb moisture. It will help prevent your cards from warping if you store them in a humid room/environment.
The same reason they come in 90% of the shit u buy... isnt it obvious?

What is the difference between the 12 and 24 pocket verions of these binders? They look exactly the same to me
"12-Pocket" refers to the number of pockets per page, so a 24-pocket binder doesn't exist in that context. It's probably just odd wording in the product listing.
Some people shouldnt breed.
Is there a risk for the cards to bend in the long term?
It's pretty rare to see cards bend or warp when stored in a binder properly. I'd be surprised if they got damaged.

@@lovelycataclysma65 The binder is 30cm in height and 35cm in width, so it might fit but it'd be tight. Sorry I don't have one of those backpacks to try.

That was just a standard size Ultra Pro sleeve

I'm not going for a master set , just storing support trainers, rainbow cards, favorite artwork etc.
This binder is a really good purchase in my opinion. 9 or 12 is a personal choice. I prefer 12 because I find it much more appealing to look at.

Reviews on amazon show and say otherwise...Pictures show bending cards, a spine that wont lay flat and a bunch of complaints 👎
The spine doesn’t lay flat until you break it in.
That’s interesting though! I have a few and they are all great after 2+ years. Could be a bias. People don’t usually leave reviews unless they have something to say.
