Don't forget that there are always some exceptions. E.g. weapons that are able to be leveled up to level 40 via applying forma will provide the standard mastery rank xp up to lvl 30 but then additional xp for 2 more levels per forma up to level 40 (5 forma total). This means there is an effective way of using forma to gain a higher mastery rank. An example of this would be the kuva lich weapons.
It's not worth it unless you want to max level the gear to use it, or you've basically done everything else you could possibly do and you're at legendary rank. 19000xp across all kuva weapons going from 30-40 isn't insignificant...but you have to spend an eye watering 95 forma to get all of that xp, and gain 3420 levels worth of affinity for those weapons. That's enough affinity and time spent building forma to max level 114 other weapons which will be worth 342,000 mastery rank XP. This doesn't even include the fact that the weapons require even more affinity going levels 30+ All those resources to gain an additional 19,000 when that same effort could get you about 350k instead spread over other weapons.

I bought every blueprint from the store that doesn't require weapon parts to build and used those to get some pretty easy MR foder. Also if you have Titania you can use her to cheese some of the lower mastery tests
I feel you. We've all been there ^^ But nice that you're making progress :D I loved Titania on these MR tests where you have to chase these things that are zipping around in the room. Made it a lot easier ^^
For new players one very important thing, which you forgot to tell, is that MR = your current trade limit per day. For new player its one of the most important thing as you need plat to buy new slots and can't get plat without trading.
Best thing is to just get every blueprint that u can get with credits and level it up. Went from Mr 12 to 21 during summer break and wasn’t playing each day. Even have so much more items ready to level up in foundary

SO glad you've decided to start an english channel. The way you approach certain topics hasn't been seen (at least in quite some time), and it's both refreshing, but also nice for both new players, and less mastered veterans like myself. Currently MR12 on my ps4 account, which I use the most these days, and just watching your video to grind to MR13 asap for things like the Verdilac and Bubonico.
I'm MR 18, and have been for over 6yrs now. I don't see a need to get further for my use. I kind of use that as a way to not grind excessively everyday. I hit my limit, I'm done for the day.
i hit end game in warframe a long time ago before they made the "open world" map. and lemme tell you, the end game is FASHION. the gameplay when you have max gear is like fruit ninja the app game.
So if i dont wanna test yet and just level up weapons and warframes the xp carries over? That is awesome if so cause i was worried im wasting xp and have been leaving till i complete it

I did a practice run once and still had to wait the full 24 hours. Edit: new MR rankup experience takes the cake. I've been able to do practice runs and do the rest after so that seems to work as intended now. But i just took a test last night, passed, and it registered as a fail i think and have to wait to take the test again. I new something was off when the passing screen was showing the MR I was already at.
Soo as someone mr11 and starting to stockpile wepons i have a sujestion. To go with the next guide about leveling it efficiently if you could compile a list of wepons we shouldn't sell off for credits afterwards that will be usefull for endgame or milestone beasts like the xoris.
Oh that's difficult. It always depends on how much inventory space you are willing to dedicate to weapons, which weapons you personally like and of course which ones are objectively good. Of course I have my Top 10 Weapons guide but beyond these it's really just personal preference...
@@MHBlacky_ENG just watched the top 10 steel path wepons and I see what you're talking about. Even a list or a mention of like wepons that take 1 potato or 1 forma to get decent not end game. Xoris and 1 potato have been my only way through some missions and the stalker lol. Or like edolon hunts rubeco>lanka>Rubico prime. So not every good wepon just early Mr, low potato forma cost, these snips meta for edolons ect Mr11 now only ever used 1 potato and have 2 left. Don't know what to use it on don't want to waste it. Every build seems to use 1 and 4 forma. Not sure on when and where to spend resources like that. Maybe a vid idea? But not trying to badger you just some ideas from a 1 month old player thinking after the star chart it was going to be smooth sailing 🤣 Cheers for the reply and great content.

Some examples that you should def craft and build at your mr.
I've been playing on and off for 7 years, have something about 1,500 hours in, and stopped caring about MR, I think when I reached Golden Eagle. My rank still kept going up slowly, but I never went too far out of my way to grind for MR after that, I'd probably just get motivated to actively grind for it if I was only a few thousand points short of a level up.
Yeah, I also never grinded too much for it. But I should. I wanna be 30 before I turn 30 xD But it's actually fine to not put too much weight into MR. There are much more important things to do in the game ^^

I bought a couple of easily craftable weapons and went to elite sanctuary onslaught to max them, I got from MR 8 to MR 9 in just 2 hours. I reccomend any newer player to do this too, its a quick MR boost.

I have all frames and prime frames, not all prime weapons, and all purchasable weapons that had blueprints in market and dojo, railjack done, duviri done, starchart done, mechs done, most pets. And I'm struggling to make Mr 30. Can you make a video about getting all the weapons/items that you have to farm and such for Mr xp, I need to squeeze everything I can
Another good tip for new players when you reach your next mastery rank but like me you had to wait like 20 hours to do the test then go and farm mission like extraction for relics or defense but only use weapons that are maxed out that way you don’t waste MP on weapons yog haven’t leveled for your next MR I made this mistake as a veteran and now running a second account after 3 years being off I now know me lesson of how to farm MR faster and not wasting my time 😅🙃🙂

When i first started playing i took the free part of the game as earth only, so for around half a year i was stuck on earth because of a fake paywall i imagined was required to reach mars

Seeing the mastery rankup stuff- only reminds me of just how long ago it has been since i've seen the lotus with colors other than purple!.. and being glitchy. So that's that xD Really. Yes i ignore the storyline. I have never cared so little about any game's storyline since.. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond. Before actually. I played warframe some years before that. Its not like i care if im missing out on other things for now. Im getting enough frames & weapons to actually focus on mr for once! I gained a spark for the first time. Still, loving the video ^^
I always when it came to farming frames got the primes, used them until I got helmith on my new account and then just farmed base frames maxed em and then fed em to the helmith
@@MHBlacky_ENG Yeah plus you gotta farm the primes anyways and level them up for MR. Plus only farming defaults when you get the helmith saves you slots and time, plus Excal (even default) when modded right can take you all the way through the star chat so there isn't a big reason to farm a bunch frames until then and you get Umbra afterwards so like you can just slid excal into there.
I'm MR7 now, and my biggest struggle is the slots. I have 3 frames to claim in my foundry, but I can't do that because I don't have enough slots and I haven't reached the good platinum farming methods yet.
I will say with this info you can easily get to MR13 without a problem in a 2 weeks no heavy grind, but beware from that on things will get slower and slower to level up your MR, but dont worry for i was told when u reach an certain MR like 18 or so you wont need to be focusing heavily on it and you can it easy.
They should give you warframe slots every mr rank level you have since it takes too long to level up and you should have parts form a frame by then, maybe even a prime.
My dumbass just realized you don't get a test automatically every day. I'm stuck at 5 because I ranked up my two prime sets and said fuck everything else
I am mastery rank 8 right now, and I am struggling to now rank up. Not sure if it's annoying that the rank up timer now exists. As in the past you could just rank up fast after another rank instantly after it's finished.
The only thing I dislike about WF and gaining MR is the fact you have to have slots to do it. Yes you can trade for plat but still, sometimes you have so many weapons being built in the refinery just by normal grinding but slots quickly become a problem and then you have to become a plat hustler by trade or else you will spend real money to buy plat.
Yes, that's unfortunate, indeed :/ I mean back in my days I jzst sold off weapons that were fully levelled to make some space but I can also understand that not everybody is comfortable doing that...
Yeah I play destiny 2 mainly and the idea of selling loot is pretty cringe back in the day it wasn’t a plat hustle for inventory >.< but pay to win got them money so they took it and ran with it ran like Warframe movement level ran
welp, just knew about the "you get mr exp once" thing and ive been lvling up the same weapons since forever 💀 the weird thing is that everytime i finished max out a weapon the mr bar seems to increase a bit ( im probably delusional💀)

First, welcome to the Crew ❤️ Second, Ash is one of the strongest Frames in the game with the right build ;) I can definitely put him on the list. If you don't want to wait though, I think KnightmareFrame has quite some material for Ash :D
Very helpful video. My only criticism is the pop,and bell and other sound effects when graphics appear. Especially the pop. As a headphone user it kills my ears. Other than that very good video :)
Steel Path will naturally give more XP due to the higher enemy levels and more spawns. The problem is that if you're leveling gear your builds are probably not going to be good enough to take care of all the enemies or at least not in an efficient time compared to the normal runs. If you have a friend who can boost you through it however, that would work. But then again you could just do Sanctuary Onslaught together, with them using a nuke Frame and you'll be fully maxed out in just 5 minutes 😉
Had a heated discussion in the warframe QA chat. The question: "Do you know if scanning objects or enemies with your synth. scanner gains you mastery XP? " Because looking at the codex you can master objects and enemies via scanning
Pretty sure it doesn't. In the calculations for the max. possible Mastery XP you can reach, these never showed up though I haven't specifically tried it. But in general you can always rely on the Wiki. The WF Wiki is extremely precise, up to date and extensive 😉 "If the Wiki can't fix it, it is not broken"
I am MR16. Been playing 4-5 years ago and returned a couple of months ago and NOW I LEARN there is a Practise button when Ranking Up >_> Tenno stuff...
@@roadrunner_noxe8793 Once you pick a Warframe and weapons, it sets them to rank 0. Throughout the entire quest, they stay at rank 0. Same during the Duviri Experience, but much less affinity is received.

To be fair you get out of a slump like that fast, I’d say the first 6 mr is really easy.
I think the best part about mastery rank is having your count go up so you can use a full mod load out.

Nah, I prefer putting more than two minutes into the game before reaching endgame. The mastery rank system though? Yeah it's total bullshit

Returning after 6 years not playing mastery rank lvl up is the toughest challenge ever like here do a par core segment that needs 5 different moves you don’t remember to do
you can feed it to youe helminth for xp aswell and upgrading those instricts from your railjack grants mr xp
When i first started playing i took the free part of the game as earth only, so for around half a year i was stuck on earth because of a fake paywall i imagined was required to reach mars

Yes i ignore the storyline. I have never cared so little about any game's storyline since.. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond. Before actually. I played warframe some years before that.
Its not like i care if im missing out on other things for now. Im getting enough frames & weapons to actually focus on mr for once! I gained a spark for the first time.

I always when it came to farming frames got the primes, used them until I got helmith on my new account and then just farmed base frames maxed em and then fed em to the helmith

Funnily some Primes are even easier to get than their normal versions anyway xD
@@MHBlacky_ENG Yeah plus you gotta farm the primes anyways and level them up for MR. Plus only farming defaults when you get the helmith saves you slots and time, plus Excal (even default) when modded right can take you all the way through the star chat so there isn't a big reason to farm a bunch frames until then and you get Umbra afterwards so like you can just slid excal into there.

I'm MR7 now, and my biggest struggle is the slots. I have 3 frames to claim in my foundry, but I can't do that because I don't have enough slots and I haven't reached the good platinum farming methods yet.
Just farm sets. Khora sells decently
If you dont use a certain frame or dont like it then get rid of it to keep the frames you like
Sanctuary onslaught for warframe xp and hydron is great for weapon xp
I will say with this info you can easily get to MR13 without a problem in a 2 weeks no heavy grind, but beware from that on things will get slower and slower to level up your MR, but dont worry for i was told when u reach an certain MR like 18 or so you wont need to be focusing heavily on it and you can it easy.

They should give you warframe slots every mr rank level you have since it takes too long to level up and you should have parts form a frame by then, maybe even a prime.
My dumbass just realized you don't get a test automatically every day. I'm stuck at 5 because I ranked up my two prime sets and said fuck everything else

I am mastery rank 8 right now, and I am struggling to now rank up. Not sure if it's annoying that the rank up timer now exists. As in the past you could just rank up fast after another rank instantly after it's finished.
The only thing I dislike about WF and gaining MR is the fact you have to have slots to do it. Yes you can trade for plat but still, sometimes you have so many weapons being built in the refinery just by normal grinding but slots quickly become a problem and then you have to become a plat hustler by trade or else you will spend real money to buy plat.
Yes, that's unfortunate, indeed :/ I mean back in my days I jzst sold off weapons that were fully levelled to make some space but I can also understand that not everybody is comfortable doing that...
Yeah I play destiny 2 mainly and the idea of selling loot is pretty cringe back in the day it wasn’t a plat hustle for inventory >.< but pay to win got them money so they took it and ran with it ran like Warframe movement level ran

I can confirm they are, prime and normal variants are considered different.
I just ranked from 13 mr to 14 and 15 in one day from playing the citrine defense mission and just running level 0 items to rank up the entire time
That was a clever way to combine two tedious grinds ;)
ESO (Elite Sanctuary Onslaught) is the best way to lvl your weapons btw. Not Warframes tho since you're gonna die constantly
welp, just knew about the "you get mr exp once" thing and ive been lvling up the same weapons since forever 💀 the weird thing is that everytime i finished max out a weapon the mr bar seems to increase a bit ( im probably delusional💀)

About the XP bar, that was definitely not bc of the weapons but maybe because of some missions on the star chart that you first time completed in the meantime?

Second, Ash is one of the strongest Frames in the game with the right build ;) I can definitely put him on the list. If you don't want to wait though, I think KnightmareFrame has quite some material for Ash :D
Very helpful video. My only criticism is the pop,and bell and other sound effects when graphics appear. Especially the pop. As a headphone user it kills my ears. Other than that very good video :)

Question for any veteran player: can you earn "extra" mr exp on steel path or do factors remain the same as demonstrated?
Steel Path will naturally give more XP due to the higher enemy levels and more spawns. The problem is that if you're leveling gear your builds are probably not going to be good enough to take care of all the enemies or at least not in an efficient time compared to the normal runs. If you have a friend who can boost you through it however, that would work. But then again you could just do Sanctuary Onslaught together, with them using a nuke Frame and you'll be fully maxed out in just 5 minutes 😉

Had a heated discussion in the warframe QA chat. The question: "Do you know if scanning objects or enemies with your synth. scanner gains you mastery XP? " Because looking at the codex you can master objects and enemies via scanning
Pretty sure it doesn't. In the calculations for the max. possible Mastery XP you can reach, these never showed up though I haven't specifically tried it. But in general you can always rely on the Wiki. The WF Wiki is extremely precise, up to date and extensive 😉 "If the Wiki can't fix it, it is not broken"

I am MR16. Been playing 4-5 years ago and returned a couple of months ago and NOW I LEARN there is a Practise button when Ranking Up >_>

I think 4-5 years ago thus button wasn't there yet. They added it sometime in the last I think 2 years ;)

Now just play the Duviri quest, it gives you like 10,000 MR points per run

@@roadrunner_noxe8793 Once you pick a Warframe and weapons, it sets them to rank 0. Throughout the entire quest, they stay at rank 0. Same during the Duviri Experience, but much less affinity is received.
In this case it only gives you the MR XP if you haven't maxed these Frames yet.

About 250 hours in and i didnt realize i needed to use diffrent weapons to increase Mastery Rank, i just thought I had to level things up
