  • Yes I did ride behind 611 on the buckingham branch the same day, but I just don't feel like it uploading it. Instead, I decided to railfan 611 at 2 locations plus pacing the train (I tried to pace to the 611 but didn't) and seeing her stall at Augusta Springs for some reason.

Definitely check out Goshen Pass on the Maury River. On Rt. 39. Well worth seeing. Take 39 to Goshen.

Do any of their coaches at least have vestibules so people could at least lean out to get a good shot?

in the 1st clip, why had the train pulled down a dead-end spur track?

It's the base for the 611 excursions

Yes that is what I paid all that money for to ride in a double decker car😅.

Possibly a steep grade, and I'd imagine the heavy passenger cars behind loaded with people also could have been a little hard for the 611 to pull.

If this was the 2:30 trip on the 7th, it was a combination of slippery rails due to leaves and a heavy train. At least that's what the car host said.
