@Matthew Coast - Relationship Coach My boyfriend's grandma died and he normally shows all the signs of being in love with me but, since her funeral last Saturday he only returned MY call and today is Thursday. He normally does most of the contacting and makes sure to see me but he broke his pattern and it alarmed me because his daughter (25) had an event Sunday and her mother was there and I wasn't. Is it safe to believe his known pressures would cause him to shut down EVEN on ME for a few days or more?

Matthew Coast - Relationship Advice not overcomplicating in my opinion. My life is already full with lot of things I like or need to do. Fulltime working single mom of a 10 year old, no time to date in the week. Work + raising a kid + having a neath house is timeconsuming and exhausting.(busy from 6:30 am till 10pm) 2 evenings per week having sports. Weekend driving my son around for his sports and meeting with familly and friends. Don’t know how to fit more than 1 man in this schedule 😉 Working on finding more time for dating. Guy I've been seeing 5 months...goes a week without texting but when I tried to break up because I didn't think he was really interested, he got upset and didn't want to break up.
I kept appreciating my man for texting me, even something really short, on days he was working long/really tired etzc. Have expressed it in words maybe 3 times and have focused just on being/seeming happy other times he does this. Also told him expressly I don’t actually expect him to text EVERY day as thats just unreasonable I think, but he’s been super consistent since I told him I really like it. Defo, part of thr excitement when getting to know someone is when the man shows he is interested the woman reciprocated but doesn't lead which enables the man to be in his masculine energy where be pursues and the woman in feminine energy . Which aligns with each other. Few people tolerate behavior of NO talk for many days in a relationship cause of a sometimes little issue. Is hard go forward with people like that. They need space but that doesnt mean that is always ok for the other part who gets tired of that too. Good thing is to go to therapy and analyse those "why"
