Hey mate, Narva Relays quite often already have diodes fitted to the coil circuit, part number 68032 & 68040. Less hassle having to fit an inline diode next time. Cheers!
Yeah, thanks, I did mention that in the vid and there's a link to the Narva diode relay in the vid description 😜 I wasn't gonna shell out 20 bucks for another relay when I'd already got this one, this is a tightass build channel man 😁 Cheers 🍻
Well impressed with the difference those lights made on that single track. Can’t beat the price with a stick. Your T-7 is a sharp machine, those aux lights definitely added a bit of Mad Max cred. 👍🏼 😎 🇺🇸 🌎
makes a huge difference with some aux lighting. i hung mine from my bark busters and they have been great so far. as for single track at night, hell yeah!!!! most fun you can have with your clothes on
I ended up doing an LED conversion on my 1190. They cost more but less crap bolted to the bike. They are so bright that I was riding behind somebody and I could see straight into their car, it was clearer than daylight. They then shield their eyes from the reflection from the rear view mirror and had to stop and pullover to let me pass. And my lights were on low beam!!! I can't recommend them for low beam but an awesome high beam upgrade if you don't want to add lights to your bike, such as non adv bikes. But for $40, if you don't car about the extra metal attached to you bike I'd go cheap spotties over an LED conversion cos you widen you light throw. If your riding a lot at night off-road then go both. LED conversion kit for straight ahead. spotties to widen your light.
pretty tight little spot lights eh Josh and damn they light up the night! smiles and good vibes to one and all eh, appreciate you taking the time to share this enlightening project, have a great weekend down under and may the days smile with kindness for us all. B^)
Noice👌 I do a lot of night riding so light options are always welcome, especially when others have been the testers😆 I'm running Novsight LED replacements. Way better than stock halogen. Have them in the truck too. Zero problems after 7 years. Might have hook some of these on the truck🤙
Hello Josh, bloody brilliant, a great job looks fantastic....The lights are making night riding so much safer and that is the key, safety; David...Adelaide ...Tiger 900GT
Heck Pecker Yeah! NOW! i gotta spend some bucks, and finally add some lights. WAY cheaper than the PIAA setup I had on me now ded Super Ten thank you always for sharing what ya learned.
Yeah if she decides she wants some, it's not like she rides alone at night so as long as one of us has decent lights that's a pretty good start anyway 🤙 cheers
Some flog said they couldn't wait for the video 😅 I think they need to be adjusted up a little but for the size of them and the low wattage they do a great job 💪 10x better than not having any extra lights on there anyway
@@MVDBR flog hey……🖕🤪😂 my main worry was getting the friggin things and thinking my skill level exceeded my night sight 😂😂😂 new job to get myself out of full lockdown took precedence on spending, but just got tax back so I’m on a spending spree with camping gear atm and lights on the list 😋 🤙
@@AusJase oops sorry I spelt "legend" wrong again 😅 Cool gotta love spending on bikes and camping gear, I wasn't able to find those same lights on fleabay or Amazon Aus but then I didn't look for that long you might have better luck 👍 3 weeks from US wasn't too bad anyway
Nice one Josh 😁👌 was ment to get some LED lights for the TTR tonight but did not get to town to buy them 😒 running in to get them in the morning 😉👍 the reason for having a switch is to turn them of if something goes wrong , same for driving lights on cars 😉🤪, i will be wiring in a switch when i do mine 🤣 keep well Mate and keep the T7 upright 😎🍺🍺
Ah well on the off chance that something catastrophic does go wrong with the lights, the plug is easy enough to get to. Still don't want more switches and shit on me bars 😜 Cheers ears 🍻
I put 4 on mine 2 facing straight and 2 slightly outwards at 11 and 1 just to show the sides of the rd in the bush a lil incase of roos on the side of the rd and for singles incase i got to make a quick turn i can see wich way is safest to make a quick swing on the bike
Great video Joshie, certainly lights up the track ahead, and the video quality is great as well for night riding. Glad that no animals were harmed in making the video. Was there any browning of the undies? FPP.
Haha yeah well, hangin' onto the bars with one hand and gesturing shit-talk with the other I was prepping for disaster for a split second there 😁 Some definite clenching 🤭
T7 possum spotters. Point em up next time you're Koala hunting . I'm looking at some for the scram....$700 !!...yeah sure. I really enjoy night riding (insert Knight Rider music) so with roos pigs etc necessity I reckon.
I ordered some auxiliary lights i plan on just using a button to switch them on, do u think the flyback diode should be used if i dont wire to the high beam switch?
I've actually used these lights on several bikes now. I like to leave them on during the daytime because they're very visible. I just wire them to a separate switch
Good work mate they look good and do what there supposed to without costing a packet . I'm like tits on a bull when it comes to auto sparky work I'd have burnt the bike to the ground by now if you let me do it . Cheers mate great video 👍
Bloody Ripper job and outcome! My cheap eBay lights are still working after 8 years! 👍 Cheers... Mark
Can't beat that! Be happy if these last that long, for sure 🤙

I would have thought the 1190 oem lights would be LED, shame on KTM 😬 cheers
@@MVDBR Not in 2013. Electronic suspension yes. LEDs no. Go figure.

You're right. Win Win. Nice job. Turned out fantastic. Want to do something like that for my 390. 😎👍
Yeah we'll have to look into how the high beam triggers for the 390 next, hopefully it's nice n easy 🤙 Cheers Bo
I'm sure I wasn't the only one blowing on my mobile screen once Josh had finished soldering. 💨
Lucky I edited out all the blowing sounds then haha 😬
They turned out well
Thanx yeah pretty happy!
Nice Josh,I put some cree LEDs on my wife's bike, I believe they were Run D ,had them for 3 years no problem.
Good stuff Ian 🤙
They look sweet, and do an awesome job to boot, great job, thanks for sharing Josh 👍

Looks bloody good, off topic did Nat ever find a dongle for the 390 to hold TC off?
Nah not yet, that MTC is one major pain in the ass even on the road. Hope someone does come up with some kind of fix 👍
Damn you're a regular auto electrician ... noice job.

No the diode is just to protect the ECU, if you're using a manual switch no need 🤘
👍
I've actually used these lights on several bikes now. I like to leave them on during the daytime because they're very visible. I just wire them to a separate switch
Round auxiliary lights look much better on the T7
* in your opinion 😉
to bad they dont have a yellow clip on lens for daytime use.
