Hello, I have a similar F31 vehicle and it has the NBT unit. I also want to upgrade to id5 or id6 (for apple carplay etc.) Frankly, I'm undecided whether it's worth it or not. I think you replaced the old one with id5. I'm wondering, and frankly I don't know, how did you upload the vin code from the old unit to the new unit? Did you do it yourself or did you take it to a service center?
you can flash id5 to id6. i had my headunit preprogrammed from MR Coding UK. they can send out preprogrammed units.. may be best messaging them regarding head units
