Replacing transmission oil filter and oil with a ZF kit. Replacment Procedure - 1. Undo undertray and loosen oil fill plug using 8mm hex alan. 2. Undo sump drain plug using 10mm hex Alan. 3. Did it make much of a difference vs doing just the backbox?
@PocketAces88 slightly deeper tone, nothing major. However I have noticed once thr car warms up after driving around, the exhaust tone sounds really nice, you get a deeper basier tone if that makes sense

The 330d 335d should of come like this standard just like the 340i did, don’t get me wrong 2 twin pipes is nice and all but the fact the all 3 series models comes with the twin pipes make it look like any other 3 series unless you know what your looking for

Hello, I have a similar F31 vehicle and it has the NBT unit. I also want to upgrade to id5 or id6 (for apple carplay etc.) Frankly, I'm undecided whether it's worth it or not. I think you replaced the old one with id5. I'm wondering, and frankly I don't know, how did you upload the vin code from the old unit to the new unit? Did you do it yourself or did you take it to a service center?
you can flash id5 to id6. i had my headunit preprogrammed from MR Coding UK. they can send out preprogrammed units.. may be best messaging them regarding head units
