I tested this side by side with the Greenwood, and it’s stability and handling is unmatched in the muscle class, especially considering it’s speed. the grandpa vibe is the cherry on top
I honestly really like this thing, I definitely wouldn't mind this being reskinned as a police cruiser or taxi in the next update, can't wait to see what the lore friendly car community does with this and the Impaler SZ.
This is honestly the only car I really care about in this update my dad used to own one of these so this car is very nostalgic for me lol but the fact that it's not a Benny's vehicle is beyond me. Just like how cars like the greenwood and emperor not making this car a Benny's vehicle is a missed opportunity and on top of that it's absurdly overpriced as well 😭
I think it’s mainly because there is a lot of money exploits around the benny’s vehicles, every time they added a new car a new money exploit came with it I believe 😂

What I’m noticing is that this wave of new vehicles (that will all likely end up in GTA 6) have a “new and updated” feel to the handling. Crossing my fingers this means gone with the handling flag system for GTA 6!

Good looking build. The funny thing is, almost every exterior option is a derivative of a B body car. For example, all of the grille options are real grilles based on 77-90 caprice, impala, or Pontiac Parisienne (same car) Can’t wait to get one of these to be done up like my 1988 Caprice 9C1 police package car. Maybe they based it on a 9C1 as the goal, so it handles good.
I could see people doing a Furious 7 build with this only if they want a full F&F garage. Or if your me and just like the Square chevys. Sad there's no racing liveries cause you see these boxy cars at a lot of short tracks
And for those that don’t know it’s quick cause the 9c1 version(the police car of the real caprice) got up especially with a different suspension and sway bar.
Just made mine into a police car with a white roof/black body, classic rod wheels with black color and it looks really good especially in the snow now. Makes you feel like a cop in patroling your beat in NYC or Chicago in the 70s/80s
It was a recommended car from the community but they missed the detail of making it a donk or big rim car but it’s cool we have the box Chevy in game now

1991 or 1992 to 1995 Caprice had the same body style as the Impala. What's funny is 9C1 Police Package had the same 5.7l LT1 drivetrain as the Impala SS but the Caprice was slightly faster then the Impala.

I have two of these,one is built to resemble captain slows Cadillac during his time in America with jezza and hamster while the other is closely resembling Homer’s family sedan (possibly does have some parts from soviet tanks….need to check it out.) now I got three and the third resembles hutch’s jalopy so I got the set complete.
After trying out the Impaler LX, I prefer the Greenwood driving dynamics. I'm not sure which is the faster out of two, but Greenwood seems more stable and easier to control.
Max speed of the greenwood is 189.9km/h (118 mph/h) And Max Speed of the Impaler LX is 185.8/h (115.5mp/h) Still the Impaler looks better and has a better interior that fits the 80's
Now we just need the Merit (Based off of the 8th gen Impala) & the 9th, 10th & 11th Gen Impaler/Merit for GTA VI and the Impala based family is complete!
