Nick - Great flight, I pulled into Barcelona while on a training cruise while at the Academy way back when Franco was still in power during the mid ‘70s. This video sparked my interest in pulling out my old photos then flying over the city to revisit those spots. Of course, it was a “Sailor’s port call” so not many early morning or evening shots in the photo album. Keep this vids coming, they are great.

Loved Spain, great food, great music and Flamenco dancing. Had many fun trips to Madrid but never made it to Barcelona, thanks for the Barcelona tour.

@@MSFSFlightPlans Have been to Bangkok a few times, think it would make an interesting MSFS tour. There are lots of colorful temples and shrines, The Grand Palace, floating Market, Safari World, the huge Vimanmec mansion. Many people live on Canals with merchants boats zipping around the canals providing all their needs. There is the Bangkok port and many museums.

    Hey Nick,
Beautiful flight over Barcelona, I spent 1 day here years ago. the Gaudi's architecture is very beautiful with many buildings, the 1992 Olympic games were very special, Freddy Mercury of Queen was actually supposed to perform at the opening ceremony, but unfortunately he didn't make it. Remains a very nice city that I must visit again.

It sounds like you've spent a lot of time in the area, JDV ... where is your home base? Aren't you in the Netherlands?

@@MSFSFlightPlans yes home based near Amsterdam but Barcelona is just 2 hours flight. It’s also near the Balearic Islands. I have seen a lot in Europe and off course learn I lot at History lessons at school in the past😉

Nick I suspect the Spark Advance feature in the Ryan would be used for starting when the combustion process in the cylinders would take place slower. It allows the spark to fire earlier BTDC in the cylinders, then after start it would be set back to the normal position.

That makes sense. Back when I was modding my Mustang, I had a chip put in that was doing something with the spark timing, but I never really wrapped my head around how it worked. I left that to the tuner.

Man, it's insane that we haven't been out there yet. I'll start cruising around out there tonight and see what we can pull together.
