7 years ago. I was 10 years old. Played this game with my best friend who is still my best friend till this day. We got online as soon as we got home from school.. We didn't do any of our hw, I remember when we looked at each other's report cards and both got straight C's. We were too naive to have any worries and played fiesta 12 hours straight on the weekends. We made many memories on this game, good ones, bad ones- all still precious to us after all this time. Looking back at us, it was funny how we took this game like it was real life. But that's what makes our childhood so nostalgic.. I would give up anything to return to these days. Memories became more valuable to us as time grew on. We never had imagined that this game would be so special to us.. Thank you Outspark for giving us such a memorable childhood and an unbreakable bond between my best friend. Those were truly our best days.
It's a shame outspark shut down. At least these games are still active thanks to other services that bought the game rights. Maybe one day people will go back to Fiesta Online and the other former Outspark games,

This game used to be a fiesta everyday, with the fantastic community it once had. The community was so great, filled with the nicest players I've ever met. I was never alone and having friends was actually a thing compared to other games in this genre (in my experience). Kingdom quests would fill up in two seconds flat and I'd always make sure to have that list open, or else I'd miss out on the fun. While the quests themselves were typical for mmorpgs (repeatables and such), being in a party with at least one other person made doing them a blast. See what I'm getting at? The community made all the difference. Present Fiesta? Ugh. It's just... not the same. You see, when the level cap started going above the 80's, you had to start paying to play. First off, the content you have to do once you hit level 90? Raids, eternal grinding and repeatables (0.000001% experience points for killing 200 monsters), and the lab. Doing these things for worthwhile experience points? You've gotta pay up first, bud. To even attempt raids, you need freaking +9 gears and charms (which cost A LOT, I'm not lying). Even then, by 100, you're most likely putting in money for exp cards to make some progress with leveling. Point is, you're paying a lot to play this one game. Who's going to put 90 dollars into a game with few others playing with nothing much to do in the upper levels? What's the point in leveling up anymore? On top of that, the cause of fewer players is most certainly the economy. One gem back in the good ol' nostalgic days made you rich. Imagine coming back to play now with that amount of money. At the most, you'd be able to afford a +9 gear for levels below 50. Gears now go for freaking 999 gems. How the heck can we make that much when the drop rates from enemies are so low? New players can't get their hands on good gear because it costs so much. Players back then could make a good enough profit ingame from producing simple enhancement items in lower levels to get a good level 20 gear set. Now they can't, because basic production skills in the lower levels make nothing now compared to how much gear sets do. Essentially, you can't make enough through this. The only way to do so is to enhance... which, as I pointed out earlier, costs money. Not to enhance itself, but to increase your success rates of enhancing. If you know how the enhancement system works, you'd understand why you have to pay so much to enhance ONE thing as levels go on! Look at the Fiesta forum to see what I mean. Back to the point of low drop rates, this is what messed up the economy. From my experience with modern Fiesta, farming is boring, you get one drop from killing boss monsters and chief monsters innumerable times for one hour. It's easier said than done. Before, I could get a bunch of good gears in a hour, but now? I won't farm at a slow rate in a game with a shrinking community that also costs a lot of money. Gamigo, the group that took over after Outspark, isn't responding to any of this from players, and has put out these new changes. You're not getting results for putting that money in the game. I don't mind spending some money, but the amount you have to pay beyond level 89 is a no-no. All of this has really ruined the community of Fiesta, the part that made the game so nostalgic. One time, I decided to take a gander at the game in its late years when someone called me a noob for having +0 accessories. So, apparently I'm a noob for not sinking so much money into this game to make a good enough profit to buy ridiculously priced equipment that is rare because the community is dropping due to the terrible drop rate and lack of player interaction. Ugh. So, people quit, because it's clear Gamigo isn't going to fix these issues. Hence, kingdom quest participation is non-existent, as for events. The remaining people in the community are high level players who have the money to do that stuff for the sake of doing it, plvls that are violating rules that Gamigo aren't pushing out, players not interacting, lower levels cheating through plvlers and getting to level 80 in 20 minutes and so forth. No one's really socializing or having fun-just paying up money, leveling without much fun since it's dead compared to its younger years, and... you get the point. To put it bluntly, it's not a fiesta anymore. It's now a cash grab Gamigo is using. I miss this game's young years so much.
Level 90 was when the game started dying, mega swift. I was AriesMajor, hung out with a few people from Gardon of Recluse, CapoPingy, Wintergreen and a few other Teva legendaries. Game got bad, and I knew it was coming shortly after the 70 cap when they started screwing up the rewards, and the need for +9 items increased. God....if the dev pattern would have stayed the same since the level 70 cap this game would have lasted waaaaay longer than it did.
@@andromedadelux Yeah, but you could solo lvl or solo bosses easily. 105 cap was the last good cap that you could level solo with +3 gear. 110/115 ruined the game with binding gear and +9/10 gear was mandatory because you would get 2-3 hit.
+Moffel Yeah, there was a server merge but it's still not the same to me tbhh. I log on every now and then, but I don't really do anything cause it's hard to enjoy it.

Ugh I'm really missing this game.. Played since '09 and made lots of memories :') The soundtrack that gets me teared up pretty much right away is the Roumen Soundtrack. This was my first MMO game I have ever played and loved it. The kingdoms quests were hella fun too.. I miss old school Fiesta T_T
All I remember about Fiesta Online is Sparkcash breaking the game, archers being underpowered, Clerics (despite having armor and shields) being healbots that stood in the back, and people always complaining on the forums due to the company's greedy ways of handing the game.
I used to play this everyday back in the day when Outspark owned it. It was so much fun, the players, the music, the emotes, the quests. Man I miss those days.
I really enjoy every single one of your videos, especially the First Looks' because it gives you a general idea of what the interface, and gameplay mechanics are like before you spend hours downloading a game.. and in some cases hours patching too, keep up the good work man!
Played this mmorpg when i was 9 , first time i ever managed to reach lvl 40 on an mmorpg character , if only fiesta isnt so dead now then i'll probably play it again.
+roy stal It actually isn't now, it was a few months ago, the kingdom quests are still a problem, no one joins a kingdom quest, but it still is a lot of fun, and the new Crusader class is pretty cool

This game isn't what it used to be for those who are thinking about picking it up. The population is quickly dying for this game once Outspark sold it. The servers are always crashing and the atmosphere itself just isn't the same. I've played this game for 7 years on and off and I recently picked it back up this year and I didn't thoroughly enjoy myself.
If you compare the population from what it used to be, then yeah it's pretty dead now. KQs were so hard to get into a few years back to the point where you had to prep yourself a few minutes earlier and click right away when it started if you wanted to get in. Now it's pretty hard to even get the max amount of players in a KQ, especially the lower leveled ones. Also, they made the game a lot easier than what it was. When I came back a few months ago, I was able to get to level 60 within a week, which used to take months to achieve. Sure you can still make a lot of friends on it, I myself made a few new friends when I played, but it's definitely a newer community from what it once was.

The first MMO game and I love it, but gamigo have destroyed this game in every possible angle, from pvping to nearly impossible to level without enhanced gears and it is VERY VERY pay to win, soooooooooooooo much more to back than, you honestly can not do ANYTHING nor get anywhere without the item mall.
reasons why you SHOULD play this game- 1. even when it says low population,there's still a TON of players 2. The community is really nice and usually you get invited to parties alot 3. The kingdom missions are insanely fun 4. The item shop doesn't throw 5. The GM will help you as long as you send a ticket, it's not like it's hard 6. being a cleric has really nice pros because you get invited to parties even more than other people because of your healing skills

I remember playing this a few days after open beta opened in 07. It was great. People were really polite and friendly and there was always something fun to do - KQ, party, quest, ect. Even after two years it was still really fun. But it got to a point when it was all about the best items, money and cash shop items to get ahead of everyone. It became less fun. Its still a fun game and I play from time to time (especially when new stuff comes out or when I hear the BGM)...but I miss old Fiesta.

Btw Omer in mmohut website you(mmohut) usually keep game reviews as they were first created.Imean that even if some Pros and Cons changed (updated/fixed) , the reader still gets the wrong info,are you going to start updating the reviews?..Of course in the NEWS section you inform about new patches but never change the info in reviews.
Guys, if you get annoyed the exclamation point when you play the game, just press it than press "Permanently disable tool tips", and it will go away, but it does help you play the game so if you are new to the game, i suggest using it.
+sarmad sdeeq This game has since gone down i played this in 2008 when it was one of the best mmo but now its not good in my opinion. So I think you shouldn't play it, my brothers and I had a lot of bonnding with this but I don't think its good now. If it was 2008 I would say go for it.
Back in the day Fiesta was the first online MMO I ever played. Speaking from experience, this game is complete shit. The amount of money you have to spend to progress in the game is insane when you reach the higher levels. The entire game is based on a pay to win system, you have to shell out literally hundreds of dollars in order to be considered a threat in the pvp realm. As for the leveling it is painfully slow unless you pay money to speed up that process and pay even more money to prevent losing experience upon death (Which will happen a lot.). To make matters worse leveling is based on doing the same damn repeatable quests over and over and over again for days, weeks, or even months at a time. Saying the questing in Fiesta was half-assed is an understatement to say the least. Another problem was the loot dropped from mobs. When you killed an enemy it often times drops some loot for you to pick up, the problem is that it can be picked up by other players. Nothing pissed off a player more was to kill an enemy to have a rare item drop, only to have some random player come out of nowhere and steal it and run off into the sunset. This has resulted in a couple asshats following players around and picking up loot dropped from the enemies they killed. This also was the case for quest related drops as well, which is a massive headache of its own. As for weapons they can be enhanced to become more powerful however.....you have to shell out hundreds of dollars to make them super powerful. Refusing to do this can result in your weapon breaking from a failed enhancing attempt. You need to pay money to have increased chance of enhance attempts succeeding, then pay more money to prevent your weapons from breaking after a failed enhancing attempt, and pay even more money to prevent your weapon from becoming weaker after a failed enhance attempt. Mounts? You gotta pay for those too. There is a freebie mount you can get but is slow as dog shit. The faster ones however you gotta pay for, but it does not stop there. Those mounts require food/fuel to keep working and guess how you are suppose to get this food/fuel? By coughing up more cash of course. Every aspect of this game is geared to nickel and dime you to the poor house. Its geared to suck as much money as possible out of your pockets, right down to your nickels and dimes. In summary Fiesta is a prime example of everything a free to play game shouldn't be. Why pay hundreds, even thousands of dollars to be on par with everyone else when you can just pay a 15 dollar monthly subscription and play better games such as World of Warcraft. Heed my warning and stay as far away from this game as possible.
Kaaniification Thats is the sad part about all this, there are several more reasons I could have included in my original comment but I figured it was getting way too long at that point and stopped there. Such as paying for customization options for your character, and how bad the customization is and how the options are limited, leading to a lot of player avatars looking the same. Especially players who chose one of the three freebie hairstyles they let you have. Half makes you feel like a Stormtrooper clone from Star Wars, who suffered the similar curse of all looking the same.

+TankBus You know things such as Facebook exist for that very reason right? My sister and I both left when we had enough of the game trying to nickel and dime us at every turn, when we started playing games like World of Warcraft among others it felt like we reached the promised lands. We still had to pay money to play games like Wow sure, but not the absolutely absurd amounts that Outspark wanted. I understand free to play games have to charge money for things but there has to be a limit, Blizzard just wants 15 a month from you, Outspark wants hundreds. Just take all the things they charge you for and add it up, and you will find that price tag gets very huge very quickly.

That, and most of the people I knew on Fiesta disappeared without a peep, so social media or chat programs were out of the question. Even then, my parents would have my ass if they caught me talking to people over something like MySpace or Ventrillo. I'm just saying that it was a game that lived and died by its community. I can recall having a good time just about everyone I partied with back in 07-08. But eventually it all turned to shit, and I became aware of how gross Fiesta was.

But at that time I guess it's was around 2009-2010 the people there are 'almost' all nice but there is one guild that I didn't like at all they're showing off too much haha! Btw which channel were you in? Mine was Legal (or Legel forgot already xD) Right now I'm too old to feel like playing the game cuz all of schooling stuffs maybe after I got into college I might think of goin back there again :/

Amazing game downloading it now on steam :) the only reason why they have limit styles on character create is because they want you to buy the pack to get different hairstyles and colour

I remember playing this a few days after open beta opened in 07. It was great. People were really polite and friendly and there was always something fun to do - KQ, party, quest, ect. Even after two years it was still really fun. But it got to a point when it was all about the best items, money and cash shop items to get ahead of everyone. It became less fun. Its still a fun game and I play from time to time (especially when new stuff comes out or when I hear the BGM)...but I miss old Fiesta.

Btw Omer in mmohut website you(mmohut) usually keep game reviews as they were first created.Imean that even if some Pros and Cons changed (updated/fixed) , the reader still gets the wrong info,are you going to start updating the reviews?..Of course in the NEWS section you inform about new patches but never change the info in reviews.

Guys, if you get annoyed the exclamation point when you play the game, just press it than press "Permanently disable tool tips", and it will go away, but it does help you play the game so if you are new to the game, i suggest using it.

+sarmad sdeeq This game has since gone down i played this in 2008 when it was one of the best mmo but now its not good in my opinion. So I think you shouldn't play it, my brothers and I had a lot of bonnding with this but I don't think its good now. If it was 2008 I would say go for it.

Back in the day Fiesta was the first online MMO I ever played.
Speaking from experience, this game is complete shit.
The amount of money you have to spend to progress in the game is insane when you reach the higher levels. The entire game is based on a pay to win system, you have to shell out literally hundreds of dollars in order to be considered a threat in the pvp realm.
As for the leveling it is painfully slow unless you pay money to speed up that process and pay even more money to prevent losing experience upon death (Which will happen a lot.).
To make matters worse leveling is based on doing the same damn repeatable quests over and over and over again for days, weeks, or even months at a time. Saying the questing in Fiesta was half-assed is an understatement to say the least.
Another problem was the loot dropped from mobs. When you killed an enemy it often times drops some loot for you to pick up, the problem is that it can be picked up by other players. Nothing pissed off a player more was to kill an enemy to have a rare item drop, only to have some random player come out of nowhere and steal it and run off into the sunset.
This has resulted in a couple asshats following players around and picking up loot dropped from the enemies they killed. This also was the case for quest related drops as well, which is a massive headache of its own.
As for weapons they can be enhanced to become more powerful however.....you have to shell out hundreds of dollars to make them super powerful. Refusing to do this can result in your weapon breaking from a failed enhancing attempt.
You need to pay money to have increased chance of enhance attempts succeeding, then pay more money to prevent your weapons from breaking after a failed enhancing attempt, and pay even more money to prevent your weapon from becoming weaker after a failed enhance attempt.
Mounts? You gotta pay for those too. There is a freebie mount you can get but is slow as dog shit. The faster ones however you gotta pay for, but it does not stop there. Those mounts require food/fuel to keep working and guess how you are suppose to get this food/fuel? By coughing up more cash of course.
Every aspect of this game is geared to nickel and dime you to the poor house. Its geared to suck as much money as possible out of your pockets, right down to your nickels and dimes.
In summary Fiesta is a prime example of everything a free to play game shouldn't be.
Why pay hundreds, even thousands of dollars to be on par with everyone else when you can just pay a 15 dollar monthly subscription and play better games such as World of Warcraft.
Heed my warning and stay as far away from this game as possible.

Kaaniification Thats is the sad part about all this, there are several more reasons I could have included in my original comment but I figured it was getting way too long at that point and stopped there.
Such as paying for customization options for your character, and how bad the customization is and how the options are limited, leading to a lot of player avatars looking the same. Especially players who chose one of the three freebie hairstyles they let you have.
Half makes you feel like a Stormtrooper clone from Star Wars, who suffered the similar curse of all looking the same.
+Ghoffman91 Really, it was a game you stuck around for because of friends. I remember times where me and a couple of people wouldn't be grinding or questing, we would just sit and talk.
+TankBus You know things such as Facebook exist for that very reason right? My sister and I both left when we had enough of the game trying to nickel and dime us at every turn, when we started playing games like World of Warcraft among others it felt like we reached the promised lands.
We still had to pay money to play games like Wow sure, but not the absolutely absurd amounts that Outspark wanted.
I understand free to play games have to charge money for things but there has to be a limit, Blizzard just wants 15 a month from you, Outspark wants hundreds. Just take all the things they charge you for and add it up, and you will find that price tag gets very huge very quickly.

That, and most of the people I knew on Fiesta disappeared without a peep, so social media or chat programs were out of the question. Even then, my parents would have my ass if they caught me talking to people over something like MySpace or Ventrillo.
I'm just saying that it was a game that lived and died by its community. I can recall having a good time just about everyone I partied with back in 07-08. But eventually it all turned to shit, and I became aware of how gross Fiesta was.
