We had a blast driving through New Hampshire, from it's stunning views, to its hikes and trails to its roadside diner with huge portions, we really enjoyed our time here
I am with you on the climb up the tower at the Indian Head. Fire towers are like that as well. Steep, narrow and open steps, very scary. Well done getting to the top. I looks like you got to see the foliage just before peak. The Baby Flume is worth the very short walk. You can't go wrong spending time at The Basin. Franconia Notch is home. I grew up about 45 minutes north of The Notch and learned to ski at Cannon Mtn. in Franconia Notch. Every now and then, there's a Facebook meme that goes around "The speed limit through Franconia Notch=experience". It's so hard to keep the speed at 45. I usually catch myself going about 60, not a speed you want to be going when it's snowing. You are hitting ALL of my favorite places. The ride along the Kanc, the Kancamagus Highway, is breathtaking. Lincoln Woods is a very popular starting point for a lot of great hikes. You passed my FAVORITE outlook at the Kanc. just as you crest and start you descent it was the one on the left. I got really nice shots of the Milky Way and that where I go with my telescope. The bears will stay away from tourist attractions such as Sabbaday Falls. The bear warning at Lincoln Woods was meant for hikers that are going far into the woods. OMG, the shot you got at Sabbaday Falls was amazing. I have tried to get a shot like that for years!!!
Hi Kevin and Stacey, loving the road trip, lovely views along the way, and the trails look good, love the background music, and thought Kevin was singing at first, lol. The dinner looked good , and the food made me hungry . X x
Hi Stacey and Kev. Thanksgiving surprise. Sitting here watching the snow fly. So this made my day! In the Adirondack mountains we call them Fire Tower's. Lot's of great hiking trails. Yes, you will get a workout. The diner was so cute, lot's of food and the onion rings looked amazing. New Hampshire is beautiful. As always thank you for taking us on your adventures ❤️❤️
Ever see a Black Bear ride a scooter and eat blueberry ice cream out of a bunghole? You missed Clarks Trading Post. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, Franconia Notch is one of the most beautiful areas in New England. The Basin, The Flume and load of other hikes and nature walks. Truly a especial place. Even people from other parts of New England and Canada come here on vacation. The air is just different up there. Glad you enjoyed it. BTW, the best whale watching is on the Portuguese Princess in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Whales can be seen as soon as you leave the dock. PS, The Met in North Conway has better coffee than Starbucks.
Bienvenue au New Hampshire! Trust you enjoyed driving the Kankamagus Highway, a focal point of our "North Country". We natives have an easier time with our many Algonquin-named mountains and rivers, but you gave a few tries .....

As a New Hampshirite it’s great to see you featuring our lovely state.

Portland is amazing. Much to do and see. I’m hoping you skipped whale watching, we’ll see next video I guess.
You had it right for a second. Boise Rock is pronounced "Boys zeee Rock."
