How wild baby orangutans cling on to their mothers in the forest

  • This unique and beautiful video clip was taken in the Lamandau wildlife Reserve, Indonesian Borneo. It shows how month-old baby orangutan Monti grasps onto its mother, Max. Both look very relaxed and healthy.
    The bond between a mother orangutan and her offspring is arguably the closest of any species.

    one thing that amazes me about orang-outans, is that incredible stamina they have in the arm, they can stay hung to a branch or a trunk for such a long time and still look super comfortable... of course, having four hands might help a bit :D
