The A engine has a 3 7/8" bore and 4 1/4" stroke, combined with a 65lb flywheel, it makes a lot of torque. 128lb-ft at 1000 rpm. Combine that with extremely slow gearing and you have an extremely powerful truck. A Model A passenger car will make in first gear the same torque as a Cat d2 bulldozer of the same vintage, so imagine the AA truck

How did a 4 cylinder hold all that weight I guess it was in the gearing in the transmission and the rear end
