Love is not a cage-but they present it like it is a cage or a prison, like she is helpless to leave and stay away from a man who has repeatedly proven that he is vindictive and mistrusting. (The fact that he took custody of her son from her immediately just shows how vindictive and wrong he is.)

I appreciate that Lee Zhongmou was man enough and put his pride aside to do a press conference and expose his vulnerability in that way. However Lee Zhongmou brought this on himself. He and his family treated Wutong like gum underneath their shoes 👞. They look down upon her except for Xiang but he also used and abused her, he had his own ulterior motives. They all abused Wutong, the mean mother, Xiang and Lee Zhongmou. There is only so much a person can take.
It’s better than nothing I guess but he needs to work a LOT harder to earn a chance with her. If I were her I would be worried he was going to take custody of the second child from her like he did with the first child. We know he is ruthless and vindictive. Should she risk it?

This mother destroyed everyone and everything. She took Tong Tong from his mother where he rightfully belonged (changing name, taking custody with no visitation rights, being mean yo the kid, etc.). Kept badgering her son to get rid of her and how nasty (although wrong) she was. Wu Tongs life was tortured by the mother. So wrong. She finally has a chance to keep her baby and not have it ripped from her. The fact that Wu Tong forgave so easily shows she was/is too naive. I actually liked the model/actress girl.
Granted those photos were incriminating and he has asked her to keep her distance, I agree that the brother and husband were forgiven too easily. Like neither of the deserve her and she was too naive in some parts.
That Toxic Mother was just too evil and she doesn't deserve her ex back either, like she was so mean-spirited that she held on to hatred for 30+years depriving her son on tender love and care.
None of them deserve forgiveness, they needed an episode of all of them begging to get her to even see them...

I agree with you 💯 👍 they all bullied her, the entire drama and both brothers used her for different reasons. Xiang, only helped Wutong because he wanted to get back at Li Zhongmou, also liking Wutong only made LZM angrier. Li Zhongmou wanted to control Wutong because she was the mother of his child and he was concern about how Wutong actions would look upon him. Basically she was a pawn in their jealous/envy game.
My theory is that she has been psychologically damaged and is not mentally well. She is making poor decisions especially given that this family has already taken. Custody of her first child.
This is so sad and heartbreaking 💔 😢 but finally ❤😂lot's of love and happiness 😊😊😂

Can you imagine a world where no one ever forgave all the stupid things we did to each other, where everyone held grudges , there is a saying holding a grudge is like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies, it took a very strong person to endure all that nonsense and yet had the ability to be able to forgive, that’s not weak or naive that shows strength of character
It also takes a stupid person (or perhaps a psychologically unwell person) to keep taking their abuser back. Forgiveness IS a wonderful thing but there are way too many women in chronically abusive relationships who have been fed this line of “if you love them, you have to forgive them” with the silent addition “and you have to accept their ongoing abuse”. No. They do not.
She can forgive him but not want to ever be in a relationship with him. I’m tired of these toxic Chinese dramas normalizing abuse.

6:05 they are just listing how much more she loved him than he loved her. Unlike him, even when she was wronged by him, she would want him to be happy and not in pain. When HE felt wronged, he did everything he could to hurt her, including taking their son away from her and leaving her alone while pregnant. He. Does. Not. Deserve. Her. None of them do.
She should get custody of her son and the new baby and live a life free of these toxic AHs.
