Vincent Price Theater of Blood

  • Shakespeare has just the punishment to fit the recent Horse meat Scandal hitting Europe.
These irregularities were reported to the UK FSA back in 2011, and somehow were buried somewhere unintentionally of course, where the One of the key figures left to work with Honest Tesco foods. Millions of pounds of Horsemeat, Jackass meat, mules and Hinnies made it to the kitchens discriminating Chefs in Europe, and even China, who could not tell or smell the difference between these meats for use in Lasagna, burgers, and what not.
What sort of punishment can be meted out to the scoundrels and lazy guardians and enablers responsible for this gastronomic disaster?
I think Vincent Price and Shakespeare would not hesitate to provide the right dish for this occasion.
If we have the stomach for it. Bon Apetite!

Now Im over 40 years old and had the idea to simply search the net for "force-feed dog, film" and found it to realize: I got traumatized as a child, simply because our parents did not watch out what we kids looked in our room before going 2 bed.

Not sure if this is the scene I saw as an impressionable 12 year old. I remember a LADY getting the funnel, while her husband force fed her the red meat of her Yorkies, which he hated. But this may have been it, I saw a glimpse of the scene on the TV in about 1977, then had to leave the room. Poor puppies.

I'm thinking of the version of Titus Andronicus that Anthony Hopkins did where he played Titus serving Tamara her two sons as pies. The play is very vicious in of itself and a lot of gruesome deaths in that one, and they even point it out in this film (though it took me a while to get the joke about "some queen getting fed her two children in a pie). In that movie after the two son are killed (and they were asking for it for murdering, raping, mutilating) there are two huge meat pies cooling on a window sill and they're playing Italian dinner music. Now that's gruesome.

Of course, switch in the poodles ("only the tenderest morsels") and put it in a huge pie and then you have 'Dog Supreme Pie' - another visual pun ?

Ive been searching for this clip for several years cause i couldnt remember the movie i saw back in the early seventies. The scene is as vivid and sick as I remebered it.
