Cadillac SRX 2010-2016 Hatch release switch replacement

GM part 22864426.
I soldered the wires to have a reliable contact. You can crimp the wires if you have the tool.

Hi, thank you for the helpful video. Which wire goes with the blue and the yellow on the new piece? My old piece has purple and gray wires.

The color of the wires are not important in this case. It is a ON/OFF switch.

It is a on /off switch. The wires color is not important in this case.
