How to make your own ice cream with evaporated milk and condensed milk
Beat the evaporated milk until light and frothy. In a separate bowl beat the condensed milk until it is fluffy and white. Fold the whipped evaporated milk into the condensed milk and then stir through.

I live in Nigeria where whipping cream is very expensive if you can get it. This recipe uses condensed milk and evaporated milk which are relatively cheap and readily available. I'll definitely be trying this recipe soon. Thanks for sharing.

I was gonna say that too look up how to make heavy cream on TH-cam ! TH-cam has changed my life! It's best to freeze or chill everything first; bowl, whisk(only the metal part), milk and Condensed milk. It whips faster and forms a peak.

Good day ms Bekky I attempted it but the mistake I made was melting chocolate in luke warm water instead of using the evaporated milk and due to this ice crystals was formed. So I had to blend it over with my food processor and added a little rum and corn starch and refrigerated with plastic wrap and left it over night and the result was good. It came out smooth and creamy. But Nana is right freezing ingredients and bowl makes it whip faster. Have a blessed and safe day everyone.

if you sprinkle in 4 stages as it chills add some wait 20 to 30 mins add crumbs and chunks if do syrups make sure slow cook removing all the water out. and will be soft as you eat it form the freezer. (save half the liquid in fridge add second layer whip and pour... or memember to push some more in as it freezes. LOVE IT

It never occured to me to chop nuts like that! I made a mess last night using a knife bc didn't want to take out the mini food processor for just a handful. I even had the manual "pull cord" chopper but it didn't chop good enough & a bit of a hassle to clean. But the ice cream came out good considering that u used evap'd milk instead of cream.💚

If you freeze the evaporated milk just before it get hard then you whip it very well add all ingredients quick icecream. This way you dont take so long whipping

Thanks but you should add 500ml full cream and it will make more. Then you can split half add your chocolate in half, put it in the fridge for 2 hours then add the Oreo on top
