@@LaowaiMe just gotta know where to look for them :) there’s a place called Old Bar, it’s at the intersection of Qinxian jie and Pingyang lu. Most of the foreigners go there every night and it gets pretty crowded, especially on Sunday-Tuesday nights (days off for most of the foreigners there). The city itself is a great place to live, but gets a bit stale over time. Not a lot of things to do, so you kinda have to travel around the country, if you want to do something really exciting. I still love it very much, the best years of my life.

It's undeniable you believe the rest of the world must be the same as Chinese people, they must think like Chinese people, they must have the same 'Shame Culture', the rest of the world surely see's everything through Chinese thought.
That is how ignorant you are.
No, in China your fundamental purpose of life, the most important and really the only thing that matters is your 'face culture' or materialistic 'shame culture' where everyone lives in perpetual 'jealousy' or shame at how someone else is relatively getting more stuff.
Here is some news: In fact, much of the world does NOT actually think in such a low, cheap and inferior way. I know this surprises you! You can't really understand it! but its true! most people are not cheap materialistic low-thinking xiao-ren and most don't have a 'shame culture' like you.
It's really confusing isn't it? Well, now you've finally learned something new about the real and big world outside your bubble!

I haven't been on the ground in Africa but have seen other documentary materials that suggest a long term dominance. One featured a huge housing development in Angola. Ok, good as far as it goes but why does Angola wait until the Chinese do it for them? Liberia should be a model of independent African development and progress.

Thanks for sharing this amazing video, I am the Chinese who’s from yuci, the small town super close to taiyuan, I have been living in Toronto for more than 6 years, the last time I went back was 2019, I am missing there so much, I love my country, I love the local people. However, I must to stay in Canada, this is my life schedule, I need to improve myself as a grad. but in one day in my middle age, I definitely will go back to the place where I stem from, my root, and the source of my memory.
