You are gas rating an old 30kw gas boiler at an imperial ft3 gas meter. The time for one revolution of the dial is 42 seconds. What is the gross heat input that you have measured, and is the appliance getting the correct amount of gas? Please help calculate .
Hi all, I am a trainee gas engineer and need your assistance… is this formula below correct? If so please reply with answer. The second metric reading (-minus) the first metric reading. (X times 30) to get your hour then (X times 10.72) then you divide it by 1.11 Thank you ❤

2.58 m3 x 38.76 dive by 3.6 = 27.82
I was taught that if you get 1 kilowatts per cubic metre per hour which = 10.76 you then X it with 2.58m3.
10.76 x 2.58 = 27.7608 = 27.8m3
There is also.
1040 Btu per cubic foot in imperial units.
1040 x 2.58 / 100 =26.83m3
